This is a bright, vibrant restaurant in a strip mall with tons of food options. We were looking for ramen after driving from Long Island down to Kings Dominion and the reviews on this place looked great! Prices are also excellent. We all got ramen and the portions were huge. Broth was flavorful and delicious. Really loved the beef gyoza too. We ordered from the kiosk because we wanted to customize our sushi. Service was ... not super fast but not so slow that it would be a deal breaker for coming back. Staff was very friendly. Overall - we would make the drive here next trip to KD, even though it's about 20 minutes from the park. If we were local I could see eating here quite often! Edit: we liked it so much we came back our second night in Doswell. I had a poke bowl and it did not disappoint. So much protein - plenty of shrimp and the crab salad on top was delicious. Loved the yum yum sauce. I should have ordered the sauces on the side, though, as it was a bit too much for my taste. My husband ordered the fried chicken and the portion was giant! They also have jasmine milk tea which was alright, i wish the jasmine was a bit stronger! the boba was chewy and a good texture although tasted kind of like water inside compared to other boba spots. WE just arrived from Savannah on our way back to Massachusetts. we were staying a hotel nears this shopping plaza, decided to stop in at this Ramen place and see what they had to offer. This is a review for the boba only; I can't speak for the poke! I really wanted to love this place since it's right next to Alohahola, but I got the matcha latte with regular sweetness because I was told less sweetness would be like 5% sugar... alas regular sweetness was definitely way too much for me personally. But on top of that, the matcha didn't taste like matcha at all; it tasted like cantaloupe initially (which I don't mind cantaloupe). I'm not sure if the honey boba was altering the taste. On top of that, the boba were really small, which was personally dissatisfying since the overall volume was small. I didn't end up finishing the drink, and I'm unsure if I would come back for boba. My daughter and I were out shopping and we stumbled across Domoishi. Neither of us had ate here before, so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is very relaxing. As we entered into the restaurant the customer service was amazing. We were politely greeted by Maliah and Teagan. There was soft classical music being played in the background. I ordered the philly steal egg roll and my daughter ordered the spicy spy garlic wings. The cashier was nice enough to mention to us that if my daughter did not like a the selection of wings in this restaurant that their sister restaurant was right next door (Aloha Aloha) and they had more wing options. Everything was very good; however the philly egg rolls were served with a sauce. The sauce was delicious. Have now eaten here several times following a successful Yelp event there. The poke bowls are outstanding. It's a typical build-a-bowl concept with lots of nice choices to get exactly what you want. Spicy, fruity, nutty flavors, whatever. While it is a chain (and I believe shares a kitchen with the Hawaiian place next door) it is certainly able to meet everything I could want in a fishy rice bowl. Friendly staff, quick service. It does have a sort of a spartan look to the dining area but I'm not there for anything more than good food. My brother from California went with me on one occasion and indicated that the quantity of food for the price was about three times what he can get at home. I will be back. read more

I'm so glad that this is right behind my house because it really is quick service, delicious food, and just hits the right spots for me. It's also very convenient to catch up with some friends. Their boba is and can be very sweet so it has to be a big treat for me if I decide to get boba from here. I do love their teas and I honestly think it's sweet enough when I ask for 0% sweetness. For food, they have poke, ramen, Korean style wings, and other apps like takoyaki, shumai, and bao buns. For drinks, they have fruity teas, milk teas, smoothies, and snow cream. Everything we've tried has been great. I haven't had to wait long when I visit. The drinks are ready within minutes. The ramen took about 10 minutes. They also have online ordering if wait time is a concern. I love the way they package up the ramen, it's in a cute little container with the broth separated so it doesn't get soggy and they give you a cute little reusable bag (don't remember if it's for take out only or doordash) . Traveling for work thought I would try it out. There was a sign at the counter to "please use kiosk", after fumbling through a kiosk menus and trying to build a meal. When I went to pay the chip reader wouldn't read credit card. Tried three times, then tried to swipe it but printer was right on top of card reader. The kiosk is nice enough to ask for a tip. Yeah nothing like doing my own order entry and taking g care of payment, and still asked for a tip. The food is good but the service is inconsistent; I waited twenty minutes for two appetizers to find they were sitting on the counter for ten of those minutes. Behind the counter was clearly over caring about my plight which, on most days for decent food is never a big deal but on this day I was in a hurry.
