Very friendly and he was very helpful with all the questions we had. There is plenty of seating available. There is also a few patio seating available. I wanted to try couple different things so I decided to get the Trio Don Cha. It came with Ceviche and I chose fried fish and Arroz con Mariscos. I fell in love with the Ceviche and the Arroz con Mariscos had so much flavor, it was addicting. I kept going in for more bites. We also ordered a side of fried sweet plantains and Yuca. Don Cha never disappoints. Their dishes are amazingly delicious and their menu has a large variety of great options. My favorite drink is pisco sour and Lucuma. I recommend sharing a couple of main dishes and an appetizer, it's plenty of food for two people if you are hungry. Their causa encevichada is very tasty and lomo saltado will always be one of my favorite ones. Service is fast and they are always super friendly and nice. Don Cha is hands-down one of the best restaurants in the area. I've been twice so far and tried the Lomo Saltado and Pescado a Lo Macho- and can't wait to go back again to try new dishes! We have been wanting to try this place the past few years. We finally made it here. My husband was told by someone he met who told him to try the chicken but he didn't. I like pork and there was plenty on the menu. We are fairly new to this food as we have only been to a Peruvian Restaurant a couple of times over the years. We started with an appetizer of fried yuca which came with a creamy yellow sauce. They were good, almost reminded me of large thick French fries with the dipping sauce. I had a thick passion juice drink that was tasty and filling. I had a pork sandwich with sweet potatoes. (Pan con Chicharròn Pork, fried sweet potatoes and seasoned red onion) It was served on a solid square bun and tasty. My husband had a Tacu Tacu Con Lomo Montado Refried beans and rice mixed together with sauteed steak, red onions, tomatoes and egg but his was with pork, which was tasty. I tasted the rice and beans mixture and loved it. The meat was also tender and delicious. I was trying to find it on the menu to give a better description but couldn't find it with pork. It is possible we had ordered a special that isn't shown on the online menu. The description above is for the beef-just swap out with pork. Servers and cashier were very friendly and welcoming. Decor was interesting. We had stopped in for lunch and the clientele at the time was military personnel. I would love to stop back again to try more but our stay here is short and hard to hit all our faves. If we don't hit this place this year we will make it next year. read more

The starter was stale fried corn... we waited over 30 minutes for our meal and the fish was chewy, the soup had no flavor, the calamari was like a tire. We also got a soup and it was just chicken and dumplings without the flavor or dumplings. They threw in a 5 inch 3 inch wide piece of chicken. Yucca fries were hot, crispy outside and tender inside. The accompanying yellow dipping sauce was forgettably bland. Mahi-mahi was bold and lime laden (loved the flavor) (Wife did not care for the amount of red onion on top. I also had "Chancho al Cilindro" - nicely charred, flavorful, but very dry, smoked pork. The sweet and spicy glaze was great but I definitley would have liked more. Served with white rice, salad, and potatoes all of which were "meh." Peruvian beer was great! I've been to Don Cha a few times, their Chaufas de la Casa (Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice) is phenomenal, and is my favorite dish. All the food you get here is high quality and the staff are very nice. Our server tonight was Pepe, he was kind and helped our table figure out what everyone wanted from the menu, and told me I actually almost got the pronunciation of the dish right! The place has futbol playing on the TVs, Peruvian flags all around, Spanish music over the intercom, and Mesoamerican-themed hangings and paintings. Everything is delightfully authentic. This was a welcome surprise. We recently went to Peru and were craving some of the staples we had while there. It was a culinary-based trip and we found ourselves really connected with the Peruvian cuisine. A friend recommended Don Cha and we went for my birthday. Quite simply it was phenomenal. From the Lima-inspired external art to the inside decorations and table of Peruvian goods, there was a channeling of Peru that set the tone immediately. The family-run business was full of hard-working and kind servers and hostesses and they were attentive and invested in providing a good meal experience. The menu was filled with things we desperately wanted to try. The portions were huge, though, so we had to limit to a couple choices. I had a pisco sour with Lomo Saltado made with beef tenderloin. The drink was perfectly made and the Lomo was exquisite with giant fried potato wedges that allowed you to soak up the remaining juices with ease. My wife got the Trio Don Cha with three items: fresh ceviche with slabs of white fish, fried calamari with a side of Peruvian hot pepper sauce (requested separately) and a mixed seafood and rice. She raved about it and couldn't wait to figure out when we were coming back. Our daughter fell in love with Chicha Morrada, which the restaurant boils their own purple corn and mixes with pineapple and apple juices and their own spice mix. It was incredible. Wish I had ordered a glass as well. She also had chaufa or Peruvian chicken fried rice which was exquisitely cooked and flavorful. This will absolutely become a regular stop for us as we go back to try different piscos, ceviches, saltipapas, causas and more eclectic dishes that were on the menu. read more
