There were four of us, and the food service was just as frustrating. One pizza arrived first, then about an hour later two more meals came out. Twenty minutes after that, the final meal was finally served. We later found out they had given us someone else's pizza, which explained part of the delay. After ordering my High Noon twice and still not receiving it, I finally had to go to the bar and get it myself. We also had to go to the bar for other drinks because they simply weren't being brought to the table. When we asked about the delays, the server's response was simply, "We're extremely busy." While we understand restaurants have busy times, the staff came across as rude rather than apologetic or helpful. Food was served on paper plates with no napkins or silverware, and we had to ask for those as well. The pizzas also weren't as described on the menu. Another concern was the condition of the deck. It appeared to be in disrepair, and we saw two people trip while we were there. That's a safety issue that should be addressed. The only bright spot of the evening was the live music, which was excellent. It's disappointing because this place could be really nice with better management, improved service, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I can't recommend it.

However, I then tried to order the martini flight that was listed on the drink menu and was told that was seasonal and no longer available. That was a bit confusing, especially since it hadn't been removed. I also wasn't offered any alternative flavors or suggestions, which felt like a missed opportunity. I ended up ordering their standard espresso martini -- which they seem to pride themselves on -- but unfortunately it tasted burnt. It also appeared that the espresso isn't made fresh, as there was a bottle of espresso sitting on the bar. For a cocktail that really depends on quality espresso, that was disappointing. However my friend did try another cocktail off their drink menu and it was delicious. To finish our visit, I waited about 10 minutes just to get my check while the bartender was engaged in conversation with other bartenders. It made the experience feel inattentive and frustrating. The space itself has a cool vibe, but overall the experience fell short of expectations. I'd love to see more consistency between the menu, social media, and what's actually available, fresher preparation for a cocktail they promote so heavily, and more attentiveness at the bar.

I drenched them in the blue dressing that came with them and was satisfied. The Beef on Weck was the highlight of the meal. The roast beef was tender, and it came with au jus for dipping. The horseradish was obviously a must. But what made the sandwich special was the way that the bun was prepared. It is formally called a "kummelweck" roll. It was a little overly salty, very coarse salt. But I think that is intended. The bun also has caraway seeds on it. The sandwich was juicy and so good. It's different, but I get it, and if I happened to live in the Buffalo area I think I would eat these semi-regularly. My waitress told me that when she went to college she used to stop in at Cole's and get the Buffalo Combo for lunch in between classes. So this is what the locals do!

The dough on the pod was a little thicker than I would like. I ate about half so it is very filling. We also got the MEGACHIPPER for dessert which was good for the price. However it was just a cookie heated up, but was worth it.
