ANGRY BULL $20 PICKLE TICKLE $19
    Jacqueline R.

We went during the week so it wasn't crowded at all, the ambiance was calm and relaxed, no blaring music so you could have a conversation. The waitress was very kind and helped me choose between two options. The food came out very quickly. It was delicious! My husband got the angry bull with the addition of the fiery habanero and absolutely loved it. I had the pickle tickle and it was also very tasty. I would definitely return here. We're passing through from central Texas. We were looking for a Pet-Friendly restaurant. The food was Devine. The Bolognese was scrumptious. I tried something new, a Peachy Brie Burger with Bacon Jam. YUM-0. Cletus Snow loved the Turkey.

I've had this place bookmarked for a while now but never had the chance to check it out. After a lovely hike at Devils Hole, my friends and I opted to come here for dinner. We sat outside which was nice! I ordered the honey garlic parm chicken sandwich and it was pretty good. Would've loved more of a honey flavor but it was still good. We had good service despite sitting outside. I know sometimes it's easy to get ignored when you sit outside but that wasn't the case!

What a great little place in the heart of Lewiston. Driven past this place dozens of times and have always said, "let try it sometime", well Valentine's Day was sometime! Upon entering you go into the bar area with some seating and adjacent to that is the main dining area with what looked like a stage for possibly live music, but I don't know if that's something they do here or not. Out waitress was a young girl who was super friendly and helpful, very personable. We started with the pepper dip which was hot and delicious, the homemade chips that came with it were very good. I was a little skeptical to order the Hot Tempered Elvis burger given the array of toppings but they came together very nicely. My wife had the Dill Pickle Flatbread that she thoroughly enjoyed. They had a full bar, including about a dozen different beers on tap and several other cans. Their cocktail menu was also good sized and the espresso martini that my wife had was perfect. We will definitely be back again, maybe this summer even.

This was an outstanding place for lunch while spending time at the Lewiston Peach Festival. It is clearly one of these places that fall in the category of fun. After many hours at the festival, we walked across the street to this charming shop. (bar / tavern) We were with three other people and the hi-top table easily accommodated us all. We really came here just to relax so I knew it was going to be wings and beer. Along the way we had pretzels and pizza. Everything was just fantastic and plentiful. The wings were served exactly how we love them. A great medium hot sauce, tasty blue cheese dressing and crispy wings... Just yum. We loved the pizza (extremely tasty sauce and cheese) and the pretzels were also terrific. There were five of us and enough food for 10. No problem with portion size here. It was fun the the people we were with had their two sons there. Made for a nice picture. I am so glad that we came here and looking forward to coming back one day and trying one of their famous burgers.

We went here prior to a concert at ArtPark. We had reservations and were seated quickly in a back room. At first, the room seemed lovely, but there was one table that was so loud, their voices were echoing off the walls, plus the loud music made it difficult to hear our server or our family. We asked if we could be moved and were first told no. We asked again and were allowed to be seated in the bar area.. which was far away from the one table. However, every time someone came into the restaurant the door would slam shut. It was annoying to hear every few minutes. The food was good.. nothing extravagant. The host and our server were great. She was running from one room to the next and then outside to the patio. I would like to try them again on a different day when it's not so busy and when they might not be so short staffed.

The service was lacking to say the least. We sate for 45 minutes before the drinks from the bar were brought over. We were there for 1 hour before we asked for water to be brought to the table and were told they didn't have any more pitchers or glasses for water. Was able to hold a conversation and not too loud with the other guests dinning. The server was very overwhelmed and trying her best but couldn't do it all. The food was great when it came out. She forgot one of our appetizers and some of the bar drinks were not made well. The quality of the food was good and tasty. just disappointed in the service for the restaurant not being full to capacity.

Fabulous first time experience at Fairbanks last Friday night for dinner! Upscale and sophisticated…read moreyet warm and inviting atmosphere. We were greeted by the host who led us to our table in the corner of the dining room. We had a perfect view of the dining room, bar, and kitchen who all looked like they were a great team back there. I love a small menu - you know everything is delicious! Our drinks consisted of: Winter Old Fashioned, Tom & Jerry, Dirty Martini's, espresso martini & the Flip. All were so so good. I was told the Flip was a custom creation by the bartender - was by far my favorite drink (and possibly favorite part of dessert)! Then onto the food... to start: house rolls were a must (we got the chicken liver mousse too but I liked the shallot butter more), and the bluefin tuna crudo and cured ora king salmon were all fantastic, exploding with flavor! For our entrees we did the pork rib chop and the elysian fields lamb saddle. Both delicious! The lamb was so good, however I think the chicory salad was a little too bitter for me. And for dessert we went with the Honey & chocolate, and the Financier (I think that's what they were called). It's like the courses just kept getting better and better.

Such a great evening on my birthday!…read more Only thing was drinks were slow. Like really slow, but our server knew it and made up for it. They're new. I'm sure they'll work it out. However, the drinks were totally different in a great way! Not your average drinks. Very creative. Loved, loved the cucumber dish and the spicey perfect crudo. We didnt order the salmon but recieved it anyway and we were so glad bc it was one of favorites. It was silky salmon on an umami bomb of a sauce. I would say the least successful dish was the white fish (was is halibut or sea bass?!). It was in a curry sauce that was a bit muddled. It was still good but after the bright, fun, summery, perfect crudo, cucumbers and salmon, the curry was just too bland. Loved the service and the atmosphere.

We had a reservation on a Wednesday night at 5pm, but would have preferred 6pm. There were no other…read morereservations available that day until 7:30pm, yet the restaurant was about half empty the entirety of our meal (just about until 7:30), so I'm kinda confused about how they run their reservations; that being said, it was nice to not be packed in and have the restaurant be super loud. Our service started out great and was attentive, but after we got our main dishes the server was nowhere to be found. That is where the one star was lost on this review. Now on to the food itself. To start off the meal, we were brought complimentary focaccia with red sauce that was served warm and was quite tasty. My one friend and I quickly devoured it. For apps, we ordered calamari and a burrata plate. The calamari was perfectly, lightly battered and not super greasy. It came on a bed of arugula with the same yummy sauce that was served with the focaccia. The sizeable piece of burrata (drizzled with balsamic glaze) came with fresh strawberries, prosciutto, candied walnuts and crostini (which came on a separate plate since my one friend is gf). It was definitely a good amount of food for the price ($16). For main dishes, we ordered the Branzino, Chef's Special Risotto (red wine braised short rib on this day) and GF spaghetti pomodoro. We all enjoyed our dinners. The risotto being the most loved. I found the branzino to be a little dry/not super flaky; but, as I have never had branzino before, I don't know if that was just because of the type of fish it is. It still had a good flavor.

My friend and I drove from Rochester to Lewiston for an evening at Artpark and were looking forward…read moreto a wonderful Italian dinner before the concert. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've ever had. The restaurant describes itself as a "rustic Italian eatery." Rustic can be charming, but in this case it felt more outdated than authentic. The dining room was very dark, and although I'd reserved an early table because the only available reservation times were 5:00 or 7:45, we arrived to find many empty tables. I never judge a restaurant by its décor alone. Some of the best Italian meals I've had have come from the most unassuming little places. Sadly, the food here never lived up to the promise. We were served two small slices of baguette that were so dry and stale they crumbled apart with the slightest touch. I honestly thought the crumbs on top were grated cheese at first. For an appetizer, we ordered the Panelle because neither of us had ever tried them before. The chickpea fritters were topped with a dollop of ricotta, a drizzle of honey, and what amounted to a single strand of lemon zest. Unfortunately, they were extremely bland and left neither of us wanting to order them again. Our entrées were close to $30 each. I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana, and my friend had the Chicken Scaloppine. The eggplant was heartbreaking. There were only two layers, and they had broken down into a mushy texture that barely resembled eggplant. Had the skin not still been attached, I honestly wouldn't have known what I was eating. It came with a side of spaghetti that was dramatically overcooked, and the tomato sauce tasted flat and one-dimensional. As someone who is 100% Sicilian and has enjoyed Italian cooking my entire life, I found the sauce particularly disappointing. I couldn't finish it. My friend's Chicken Scaloppine looked attractive on the plate, and the chicken itself was tender, but the dish had almost no flavor. By the time dinner was over, our bill exceeded $110 before the concert had even begun. We left feeling disappointed that what should have been the highlight of our evening became its biggest letdown. Lewiston itself is absolutely charming, and it's easy to see why people travel from both the U.S. and Canada to visit this beautiful town. I only wish our dinner had matched the setting. Based on our experience, I can't recommend this restaurant. There are too many wonderful Italian restaurants in Western New York to spend your money here.
