Crazy Fries - sausage, cheese, bacon. Even tho this is a next day left over pic, this is what is looked like being served "fresh" to me...
    Michael A.

Was not impressed with this place. Dined in a Saturday early afternoon. A friend and I were the only customers there throughout our whole dine in experience. What we got: Crazy fries beef empanadas rotisserie chicken soft taco chorizo soft taco carnitas soft taco camaron soft taco pescado soft taco Honestly, everything was bland... except for the chorizo Only good thing I can say about the food was the portion size, especially with the soft tacos, a good mount of "filling" The crazy fries didnt look appetizing at all, like the cheese used looked like plastic. just overall sadly not good. If my pics are still there, thats exactly what the crazy fries looked like. Nothing different from being served "fresh" to me than being eaten as a left over the next day. The other good, was the place was spacious and clean and the wait staff was enjoyable.

I had such a pleasant experience here! The waitresses were so friendly, they were efficient in cleaning before and after guests leave. The food was also delicious!!! They provided free nachos and salsa which was a great appetizer before the entree. We ordered horchata, enchilada with green sauce and the cuban hero. Horchata is one of the best I've had! The Cuban hero was so goood (along with the crispy fresh fries), and the beef enchilada was so flavorful. Everything was so tender and the beef wasn't overdone either! The portions were enormous...!! You will not be disappointed :)

Just want to start off my saying the customer service here is stupendous. The gentleman and all the ladies are very tentative, accommodating and overall friendly! The food here is also delicious. Please try the creamy green sauce!!!!! Highly recommend the tacos which come with onions, cilantro and guacamole! Favorites are the steak and the fried fish tacos. The only unremarkable dish for us was the empanadas- a little too soggy on the inside compared to what I prefer.

Guess what I had for lunch, a burnt chicken. I'm never going back if that's how they served their customers

Placed order at seamless 11:14am, received at 1247pm. Understand the guy is on a bike. Food was not hot upon arrival. Warm. The chicken is burnt, totally black on the skin * wish I can post pic with my review but it is on the photos I posted.

Always serving up great tacos!! I keep ordering them. And the amiga that brings it out to me is soooooo nice!! I love it. Keep eating these...

I ordered a pico de gallo and Chicken. There was a COCKROACH in the pico!!! And it was alive.... Will never order again. =(

I ordered a pico de Gallo and a roasted chicken. It looked good but... Nope. Sorry. See pic! There was a Cockroach in the Pico!!! I opened it up and there it was. Alive and kicking. Now I am revolted. Nauseous, and didn't touch their other food. I am sorry for posting this, truthfully their chicken looks good and tastes good but I will never order from them again after this bad experience.

They moved across the street from the last time I've visited and the new place is nicely renovated with all glass windows. The food is as good as before and service and prices are great as per usual. I love this place.

I placed an order, it took very long to arrive. When it was received, the order was in fact incomplete. Seems like this should be pretty cut and dry right? I called the restaurant to tell them that a portion of my order was missing. When I spoke with the gentleman, who must have been having a pretty awful day, I was told I would have to wait until the delivery guy returned and IF the chicken was in fact NOT received then they would give me the chicken I paid for. I explained that I wouldn't lie about not receiving a portion of the order. I also mentioned that I order from the restaurant all the time and have even sat in the actual storefront with my family. The gentleman was adamant that I was wrong and raised his voice then proceeded to tell me my voice sounds familiar. He proceeded to tell me that I had called before. I am not sure who he thought I was but I'm sure they are not friends. Since I place all my orders through GrubHub I explained that I hadn't called and had never had a problem before. He was aggressive and rude and plainly called me a liar, wanting me to wait for the delivery guy so he could see a receipt. A receipt I'm sure he could easily retrieve online for any information he may have needed. I am a long time Bay Ridge resident and have ordered from Don Mario's Rotisserie numerous times. I have never been treated like that. I would never deem it acceptable to treat a customer, any customer returning or otherwise, the way I was treated tonight. I will not return to Don Mario's and I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to be treated fairly, kindly and with respect. I was so disappointed and still am.

Bar Chuzo has the restaurant and bar attachment which is where we dined. I happen to like the bar room for dining, it's charming and quieter for a Sunday brunch. Bar Chuzo offers really nice Brunch selections from ceviche, salchipapas, tuna, steak and apps from delicious fries, calamari, crab, plantain chips, croquettes and so much more. Here's what we ordered: Apps- Plantain chips( dinamita !) with a side of salsa verde. Yuca Croquettes with Yuca, Chihuahua cheese, and uchucuta sauce( green herb chile sauce with nuts) Dinamita number two! Two different brunch menus, Menu 1 offers apps, sides, entrees, cocktails and desserts. Menu 2: Bottomless Brunch for 90 minutes choice of Margaritas for $35 or Mimosas for $30. Chicken Chuzo: Brasa marinated chicken skewers, Andes Ecuadorian corn, yuca croquettes. There are two skewers with three pieces of chicken on each, scrumptious, loved the taste of the chicken, the croquettes ( yuca again) nice accompaniment and the corn was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend! Dinamita number four. Cocktail: Mango peach sangria hit the spot! Service: Gabriella is a great, professional and accommodating server. Absolutely wonderful and knows her stuff! Dinamita number five. There are delicious desserts as well but too full. The portions are generous and this meal for me was lunch/dinner. Defeated, that only made me want Ecuadorian food even more. I began a mission to get a plate of llapingachos (mashed potatoes laced with cheese and topped with peanut sauce, a typical dish in the Cuenca/Azogues area of Ecuador.) Yelp did not fail me. I walked south and found this place just after some scaffolding. I sat down and was promptly given a menu. Llapingachos are usually eaten with fritada (fried pork) or hornado (roast pork, like pernil.) Them I saw guatita (tripe with peanut sauce) and was almost lead astray and said to myself, No, you came here for llapingachos and llapingachos you shall have. The menu had pictures and I even saw a plate pairing them with steak and eggs. It was a hard decision, but I went with that. The waitress brought out green sauce, called ají in Colombia (not sure what it's called in Ecuador.) my husband ordered the bandeja paisa, a Colombian dish. I waited in trepidation, as I was starving at this point. The food came and I was unsure what to go for first. The meat, the llapingachos, the fried eggs, the salad, or the rice. I gave each a turn. What I love about Ecuadorian cooking, is that there's often a variety of foods on one plate. I hadn't had this plate in ages, so this was a real treat. I wasn't feeling 100% today, so the meal was hearty, yet had nothing to upset my stomach. It turned out to be just the right thing for me. My husband enjoyed his meal, though it was a riff on the traditional plate. They left out the area yet added a few pieces of pork on the bone. He seemed to enjoy his meal. I'd go back. In fact, a personal obligation will require me to be back in the neighborhood in a few days and now I have a little spot to go to that I can trust. I might just try the guatita this time.
