A couple of weeks ago, I called Don Nichols Plumbing in a panic when my tankless water heater suddenly stopped producing hot water. Even though his schedule was already full that day, Don made the time to come out between appointments and quickly fixed the issue. When I asked what the emergency visit would cost, he simply said, "Don't worry about it--just call us to schedule your water heater service." Since my system was due for service, I went ahead and scheduled it. They did a fantastic job, taking the time to fully flush and descale the unit and remove mineral buildup. Everyone I interacted with--from start to finish--was incredibly nice, down-to-earth, and genuinely pleasant to work with. The Navian Tankless hot water they installed is super user friendly. The temperature can be changed with a simple press of the display panel on the front of the unit. The previous tankless which had been in yon the property required reading the manual, a call for technical assistance, removal of the front panel and the location of the an unlabeled thing to change the temperature.....and there were only two settings. Third time using Don Nichols Plumbing, and every time, quick response, excellent, friendly service and clearly state your options to fix the problem. Had no hot water Friday, called and left a message, 2 hours later called again and Debbie said they were fully booked until Monday. Rats! An hour later she called back and said Jason was on his way to check it out. Jason & Brandon both showed up, diagnosed the problem with my 12+ yr. old heater, gave me the options of getting parts and fixing on Monday ($500), or installing new heater ($2,000) that same day. Of course opted for new heater since this one was at the end of its life anyway. After reading these reviews, I called Don and asked him to provide an estimate on converting our propane fire pit from propane to natural gas. He advised I obtain the necessary materials from the manufacturer, which I did, and then came out to estimate and do the job. He's very busy and booked several weeks at least. Pros: They're friendly, they come on (relatively) short notice, they proactively fixed an old valve to the water heater. Cons: They left the dishwasher plug in the garbage disposal they installed, causing the dishwasher to not work until we found the problem. They scratched up our tub installing a new drain. They made an existing clog worse, leaving us without working drains for several days while they tried to find the tools needed to fix it. And I didn't dock them a star for this, but it's the reason that I personally am not going to seek out their services again: One of their drivers honked their ass off at me because I apparently was too slow for them on an unprotected left turn. Maybe consider that you're honking at a potential customer next time? read more

I can't recommend this company more!!!! A couple of years ago, we needed some help with some issues we were having with our shower. I checked out Yelp and they had a great review, so decided to call them. Don, the owner was available to stop by the same day and not only was he pleasant, he was able to fix our problem that day and did an awesome job. Yesterday, we called them again to address a water heater issue. They were able to have Cory, Don's son come by that day to check things out. Turns out, our 9 year old water heater needed to be replaced. Cory was able to install a brand new water heater THAT DAY in less than 2 hours. He was super nice and was beyond professional. I would call them in a heartbeat if we ever need a plumber again. Can't leave out Debbie, wife and mom...who was super helpful in getting things set up.
