Even though his schedule was already full that day, Don made the time to come out between appointments and quickly fixed the issue. When I asked what the emergency visit would cost, he simply said, "Don't worry about it--just call us to schedule your water heater service." Since my system was due for service, I went ahead and scheduled it. They did a fantastic job, taking the time to fully flush and descale the unit and remove mineral buildup. Everyone I interacted with--from start to finish--was incredibly nice, down-to-earth, and genuinely pleasant to work with. I won't hesitate to use Don Nichols Plumbing again and highly recommend them.

It took him about 20-25'. The technician was skilled, polite and efficient. I wrote them a check, but I was not given a written estimate, nor was I given a receipt. NO itemized information on the charges at all. It seemed like a lot of money!!! I called the secretary later that afternoon and she had the owner call me back. He listened to my concerns and we arrived at a compromise. So, just be informed of the charges beforehand and get multiple estimates if you can. I was told that this was common with this brand and they had many issues with this manufacturer. So you might wonder why they still install them! Before that, they botched the coupling of the water softener to the water heater: I saw a succession of Silva plumbers, more incompetent that the other and ended up paying a bill of more than $2000. The last time they came they left the water heater bracing not properly secured and the expansion tank filled with water (ie. inoperative). I finally called another plumber to fix it. When I dared complain about it: Steve Silva, himself, said and I quote: "Pay your bill and take your business elsewhere" Well this is what I will advise you to do!!

One of my two drain handle controls quit working a couple months ago. I final got around to calling Ella's Bubbles company to find out about repair. I was instructed to notify company that installed. I called Brandon at Eco Plumbing and a few days later two of his workers came to figure out problem. I was informed the subfloor would need to be cut into from below to access cable to drain stopper and new cable approx $100 not counting install. I said no to floor hole cutting as company states this should be accessed through access door in front of tub. This visit cost me $350 for nothing! I will be putting formal complaints with company.
