When I pointed it out, she tried to charge my card again for the missing taco instead of fixing the mistake. On top of that, we were again given just one small salsa. When we asked for more, she walked away, said something under her breath, and came back with a couple more with an attitude like we were bothering her. I'm not sure what her issue is, but being greeted with friendliness and basic customer service goes a long way. These experiences have made me think twice about coming back when she's working, which is disappointing because I do like the place overall.

When she told me the total, I was shocked, but I also had a full cart of plants to bring home and people behind me. I was charged $4.62 for the elote, $4.16 for the taco and $15.00 for a "machete", which was the most expensive thing on their menu, and not what I ordered. I thought maybe the prices for each item included the tax, but no. There was a separate tax charge, as well as a 3% surcharge for using a credit card, which was not mentioned anywhere on their menu. My final bill for a taco, ear of corn and quesadilla was $30.66. Also, the carne asada was flavorless, other than the raw white onions. The elote was delicious and I haven't tried the quesadilla yet.

But someone was constantly popping out and asking people what their names were, and telling them how many minutes they can expect to wait. (Waiting = standing next to the salty snacks shelves.) I see now that they have Al Pastor Chicken with Pineapple Pico and I definitely want to come back and try that. Maybe I'll raise my rating if I love it.
