It definitely helps if you know the basics, though since it's 99% a spanish-speaking joint. The pastries are always flavorful and fresh. I love their orange blossom and anise sesame buns, pan de feria, and conchas. The chicharrones are always on the deli counter and you grab your own with some tongs. Tons of meat on them and a few minutes in the air fryer make the meat tender and the skin crispy. Haven't tried their hot bar or restaurant yet but I hope to soon.

What blew me away most was how fresh everything tasted, coupled with the large portions. The tacos and tortillas are hand made (hechos a mano) and that made a world of a difference. She was one of the many people who raved to me about this place. Many staff speak Portuguese and/or Spanish so she was having a blast with that as well. The atmosphere is very upscale but chill. I also think this may be more authentic than some of the other Brazilian bbq places in the metro area because they don't serve chimichurri, which I think is technically Argentinian maybe. I did miss that like that have at fogo de chão, but they have vinagrete (super authentic to Brazil) and an amazing spicy Hmong sauce which I was surprised to see. They also offer Hmong sausage which I'm assuming is the closest thing to the toscana sausage you would typically find in Brazil. The chocolate and três leches cakes at the end were amazing! My lady took me here for date night and it was quite the let down. What we didnt know at the time was that they closed at 830. I believe this was a big part of what went wrong that night. At Bullvinos, you pay one fee and you get salad bar access and they come to your table with cuts meat until you're full. So many things went wrong this night. The waiter came over and asked what we wanted to drink, we asked for water and he poured us water from a bottle and he never came back to the table after that. We didnt know that the water cost money until someone later asked if we wanted another bottle or just tap water and the bottle was on the bill. They usually bring over bread and mashed potatoes and after being there a while, I had to ask for this and the bread wasnt fresh. The salad bar was closing shortly after we got there and staff made an announcement "the salad bar will be closing in 5 minutes so if you want something, go get it". I understood, but it just came off rude. They did come over with the meat very quickly, like almost lining up at our table and thats when I checked to see what time they closed. They didnt technically rush us and they asked if we had any requests for meat before they closed. For this type of restaurant, you probably want to have more than 30 minutes and I wish they had mentioned it over the phone when we called. I only had cuts of meat and it was all pretty good, didn't really get a chance for the salad bar though. For my first time there, this was a terrible experience and I had high hopes for them.
