Don Sushi is an Latin/Asian fusion of flavors. They bring the flavors from their home of Sinaloa, Mexico. New to Wasco and have been open for about 2 months. David and his family run this restaurant. They have a creative, menu with yummy looking fare. I ordered the La Torre. My server was very attentive. It was Scrumptious! The seafood was so fresh & flavorful. It has boiled shrimp, lemon marinated shrimp, octopus, scallops, cucumber, tomato & purple onions. This cold seafood tower is beautifully layered. The bowl holds the broth that is used to make the traditional soupy shrimp cocktails. Starting with layers of cucumber, purple onions, octopus, marinated shrimp, cooked shrimp and slices of scallops topped with avocado. The portion was very generous. Light rock plays in background. The interior was very attractive. Light gray wall with touches of black to accent. Ratan lightning and greenery add to this inviting restaurant. This is definitely a place to have a date night in Wasco. NOTE: they are in the process of getting their liquor license and are expecting within the next month or two. When they receive it there will be a lounge area open as well. I'm really looking forward to going back! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food! It was delicious! Ambiance was great and our waitress was the best! Great customer service (:

Sorry I didn't get a pic before we jumped in! But the rolls were pretty.

The atmosphere is beautiful. Service was friendly and fast. Very informative for people like me who've only had traditional Japanese sushi. Recommended what to order based on our likes and did NOT miss. The rolls are delicious. They started bringing our food out pretty quick after we ordered. It wasn't busy when we went at lunch so I'm sure it might take longer if the restaurant is busy. But well worth it. Highly recommend.

There was some road construction out front and assumed the place would be empty, but I WAS WRONG! I was greeted immediately by a kind gentleman who worked with me in ordering exactly what I wanted. I couldn't decide between a tostada de ceviche de camarón or a tostada de jaiba (imitation crab meat) so I asked if I could have a bit of both. He agreed. I payed and waited probably less than 10 minutes for my order. They even set my tostadas on the side so they wouldn't get soggy! I did dock a star because once I made it back to the office, I opened my plate and it was a large portion of food, but the jaiba was not marinated in lime nor seasoned at all... Just dry. The camarón ceviche beneath it was perfect. I did try my best to mix it up best I could. It wasn't bad, the food was flavorful, I'm sure had I made a choice of one or the other there probably wouldn't have been any issues. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at the extra limes, salt and Valentina packets that came with it. They thought of everything: fork, plate, napkins. Loved that. The menu looks super appetizing and I will definitely be back to try more off the menu.

We're always greeted with friendly service. The restaurant is spacious, updated, and modern. The vibe is set with good music and a relaxing atmosphere. The server brings your menus to your table and will come back to take your order when you're ready. ( I mention this because another reviewer said they ordered at the entrance and then sat down, which has never been our experience. This is a full service, sit down restaurant.) Since it was breakfast, the server brought over an extra large warm flour tortilla in a basket along with some butter. Yummy!! We munched on that and sipped on our beverage until our orders came. I had the Huevo Ranchero with a side of chile verde and beans. My friends opted for lunch, and ordered the carne asada with rice and beans, which came with a side of roasted nopales. Everything was delicious! I could tell the carne asada was fresh and tender. It was easily cut with a butter knife. My friends also commented that it was very good. That says a lot because they are picky eaters. There's also a cool bar and nice patio with streaming lights for those wanting to hang out outside or have a drink with friends. Overall it's clean, has nice decor, good service...and most importantly delicious food. It's a win!

The place is really nice. It's clean. It has like same set up but just a little bit different I believe they have different tables, but anyways we were greeted promptly and we were sat down really quick. It was just a table for two. So we sat down. They brought us one flower tortilla with butter and that was gone real quick so we ended up ordering the chicken taquitos or flautas which I really wasn't impressed. They looked really delicious when they brought them out, but the chicken was not shredded. It was like cut into pieces and then fried in the tortilla which I felt was weird. The flavor was bland. They offer a lot of salsa, but none of them had a kick to it like spice, but other than that, you know, they had sour cream, fresco lettuce. You know the presentation was good but the chicken inside was cut into chunks and it wasn't shredded chicken or shredded. You know that's what surprise me. Then we ordered the queso which had a sliced jalapeño and then sliced onions which was delicious. That was probably the best. I was not impressed with the chips I felt like they didn't have enough salt. They were too hard but the chorizo guess so dip was delicious. We couldn't decide on what to eat since they do offer a variety of breakfast lunch and dinner and she said it was all day so we decided on the Molcajete. It came with chicken Carne shrimp and a headlight not a piece of chorizo head like I don't know how to call it. I had chorizo on it, but it wasn't like chunks so I was too impressed because it was just different from what I've had in the past again. The salsa were not spicy, but it was good. It was really good. You know it's just the tortilla chips. I wasn't impressed with the beans that's another issue. Beans are the easiest thing that a person can make and I felt like they were canned Rosarito beans I could be wrong but I love beans what brought me there was the flour tortillas and beans and the tea was good but the beans I feel they could've done something better but other than that, I will be back you know to try it again you know sometimes they get a different cook, but I was it was good but I feel it could've been a lot better being that they're not that busy being that they're new and they just opened I definitely will give them another chance and hopefully it will be different.

We made a big mistake ordering peeled shrimps because the shrimps received were very small. Lesson learned, always keep the head-on for shrimps! They also skimped heavily on the sauce, which is a dealbreaker for Cajun food. The Works sauce has good flavor, but there wasn't nearly enough of it. Paying that much for so little is a bit frustrating. I've tried many different cajun seafood places and I don't think I'll be visiting here again.
