Yummy Tacos I've been here a few times and the food is always good. You order at the window and they bring your meal to your table. The service is quick and efficient. This fast food setting provides fresh delicious food for reasonable prices I ordered three of their regular carnitas tacos and paid about $12. The meat had a bit of a crunch which I prefer to the non fried carnitas. The tortillas are fresh and soft. The meat is tender and moist with just a bit of the crispy edges. They serve their tacos with red & green sauces and I opted for a third sauce of a citrusy avocado blend. The fillings are generous. They have indoor and patio seating. On chilly days there are heat lamps in the patio area. For a pleasant setting and good food I highly recommend La Imperial. read more

Looking for a late dinner while visiting family. My Tia recommended this place. It's right on the main drag with plenty of parking out front. You walk in and the place is nice and clean and the menu is straightforward. Looks like a small crew so just be prepared to wait for your food a bit. We went on a Saturday night and there was a steady stream of folks. The flautas had a great crisp and the sauces were really flavorful. The quesabirria though smaller than some other places I've been too but the flavor was amazing and had lots of meat. We stop by to have a late dinner since our son had a football game here. This restaurant specifically states, "closes" at 9pm. It was approximately 8:14pm, ordered our food. Then we were told "it is only for to go orders" since they close at 9pm we will not be able to eat inside the restaurant. Therefore, correct closing should indicate 8pm/8:30pm. The food was actually pretty good. I ordered a mulita, it was well seasoned and cheesy, which was the best part. My partner order a torta de cabesa, which I had to try and it was delicious. Bread/meat was soft and very well seasoned. Overall the food was pretty good. Note: This little restaurant charges for refills and chips and salsa. Which most restaurants have been converting to this due to cost of goods have increased. Lastly, although I mentioned the food was pretty good. I will not be coming to this restaurant for the way way we were all treated. The only reason why we still ate here, because it was the only place open and we were craving for some Mexican food. I'm not from this town. So I was really iffy about coming to this place because of the 3 1/2 stars. Also because a lot of reviews were stating they experienced bad customer service. Despite it all I still went. Not only did I experience GREAT customer service (literally every worker smiled at me) the food was just as great! I actually held a conversation with one of the workers. I didn't get her name. I wish I did because she was really nice. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos, 2 fish tacos and a kids quesadilla with French fries. I substituted the rice and beans. First let me tell you the shrimp tacos are sooo good! So are the fish but the shrimp was my favorite! The tortillas are handmade! That should tell you something. I also snuck a bite from my sons quesadilla. They actually use good quality cheese. They had 3 different salsas all very good. One was a guacamole green salsa, tomatillo salsa and a spicy red salsa. Been going here for years, hit and miss on getting your order correct. Typically get orders to go, and If condiments are missing or quantity of tortillas are wrong it's a inconvenience to have to go back just for that. I expect everything to be right when I pick it up, and not have to check my order and get a attitude when something is missing. So upset!! 3rd time they mess up my order with door dash! Ordered 3 tacos De Asada with everything and 3 of Cameron with no onion and no tomato. Only received the 3 De Asada and 1 of shrimp made correctly with avocado and no tomato or onion.. Called the restaurant, they rechecked my order and had my husband return the food (since I had the baby in the car I waited). As most people have mentioned, the customer service is AWFUL here. I came here with family and there was about a 20 minute window from when we got the first dish to the last one, which was for a child. They came back twice asking us questions about our order that they should have asked when they took the order. Additionally, the servers would gather up on front of the restaurant and laugh and talk so loudly that you could barely hear the person in front of you. The cashier, especially, was rude.
