We arrived at 4:45 on Friday, it was already busy with many customers, however the waitress was quick, very sweet and helpful. We changed our minds twice and she got it all perfectly correct! We ordered Seaweed salad, gyoza, and calamari off the appetizer menu. Also ordered Philly roll, tempura tuna roll and a California roll. We had it all delivered at the same time and it was so much fun for the 3 of us to share I got a small cold saki too which was very yummy. We have been ordering JIN Sushi through the mobile ordering apps. With our work schedules, going out isn't always easy. Every sushi roll we've ordered is delicious. I love the bento boxes. I used to go to another sushi place that I claimed was my favorite because they had an appetizer/roll that was out of this world but they removed it from their menu . I was pleasantly surprised to see a very similar one here at Jin called the oh! My god roll and it's to die for. Pretty sure this is my new go to sushi place just because of this item. It's a bit small inside but we were seated with plenty of room. We had oysters, mussels and the dragon to start. I ordered an 805 beer while my friends ordered saki. They have lunch specials which is dine in or take out. I got the lunch #3 it came with miso soup salad and one specialty roll which I chose baked salmon roll and one regular roll a spicy shrimp and crab. I was stuffed for $23 can't beat the price. Came for the happy hour as I seen the happy hour menu posted on Facebook! Came with my daughter for a girls day out and LOVED our lunch time at this restaurant! The garlic edamame is a must order appetizer! The sauce was so delicious and I seriously could not stop eating the edamame. My daughter ordered a pineapple sake and shared a sip and it was VERY delicious! Highly recommend! As for the rolls, all the fish tasted fresh! We were dining with our baby (who was just acting like a normal baby), and halfway through our meal the server brought us the check without asking if we needed anything else or if we were finished. This place is not very big, however, it has such a nice modern Japanese aesthetic to the interior. The customer service is always great and the wait time is never long. The food itself is always fresh when served and I've never had a problem hygiene wise when it came to my food. Where do I begin. Came late meeting up with family and friends to a wonderful selection of sushi. Sorry, did not get a chance to take any pictures as I was eating. The sushi was fresh and very tasty with just the right amount of sauce, not drenched where you only taste the sauce and not the freshness of the dish. I especially loved the salmon collar which I highly recommend. Service was too notch. Did not have to ask for a refill on my water and everyone was super nice in a genuine way not pushy or non-original. Also, did I mention the place was packed and folks waiting at the door for a table. So to have everyone working at top efficient y all the while providing top notch service goes a long way. Had the same experience the last two times we came to dine in. With the very same server who took our order. After being seated, a few minutes later 2 gentlemen sat next to us and they were served before us. They even got their food before our order was taken or anyone ever came to our table. No one came to check on us or take our order until I stood up to talk to staff about it. Twice this has happened. With the same server who was pregnant. She told me basically that there's no excuse for what happened and to basically get over it because nothing was going to be done about it. Service was very slow at first, one server for about15-20 tables. So stayed off pretty bad but recovered nicely after reinforcements arrived. I ordered a Philly roll and a maha roll. Both were pretty good but nothing amazing. Non happy hour prices seem al little high around $20 per roll. Service was good once help arrived. Restaurant wasn't overly clean but not dirty either! I am not usually a sushi person but my friend took me here and I really enjoyed the food here. The staff are friendly. The food doesn't take long to get to you. The restaurant is really clean and modern. They even have some flatscreens set up with sports or shows for people who are into that. My friend ordered a sushi roll called The green light and a baked salmon roll. I tired a bite of the salmon roll and it was actually delicious. I ordered the Teriyaki bento box. So we have been here a few times. Quality of food is good but the service was mediocre at best. I mean, all the pretentious smiles are laughter might just not be necessary. Just be genuine and sincere is easier. Today I called to place a takeout order. The lady on the phone asked me why not order online? She said she could send me a link so I could order online. I was dumbfounded. I mean if I could order online why would I be calling. I was driving and couldn't have. So I told her I was driving, again, that pretentious but condescending tone of "nice," said pretty much whatever and started to transfer me to the local restaurant without me acknowledging it. I didn't know she was at a centralized location and just sending my call to the restaurant. I get we all want to be more efficient but I was driving! My husband has celiac and has never been able to try sushi because of it but Baylee went above and beyond to help us customize a few rolls so he could enjoy sushi with me today!
