I saw on Yelp they had a drink inside a pineapple and knew I had to come here lol. Our party ordered a variety of things we had steak chimichangas (amazing), steak fajitas and taco salad. Good food and great atmosphere. I went with friends on a Saturday night and there was a DJ there too. I enjoyed the live music and appreciated that it wasn't so loud that I couldn't hear my friends at our table. We were greeted by a server within minutes of sitting down and had drinks soon thereafter. I ordered a rainbow margarita. It was very tasty. I also ordered something called a San Antonio. The concept was good, but the execution wasn't. My food was luke warm. I'm sure it would have tasted better if it had been hot. One friend at the table ordered lemon pepper wings. They were bland and fried really hard. The restaurant wasn't too packed; there were people at every table but they were spread out. Tasty. Both salsa's delivered to the table were mild. One tasted like tomato sauce, not a lot of flavor and the other was made with roasted tomatoes, much better on flavor, but still no kick. Our server noted that the Conyers location has a different "red sauce" salsa that is made with habaneros, so we'll have to go try that ine. Every piece of chicken, steak and shrimp was so dry I was grateful I had water to wash it down. You could literally look at it and see how dry it was. It was so bad. Only had two shrimp in the whole burrito but that's ok, they were cold any way so I didn't eat the final one. The rice, again, so dry and brittle it would choke you if you didn't have water. Beans cold and flavorless. I literally took one bite of both and just put my fork down. I was done. I was so grateful that work paid for the meal. $14.99 for a few bites of food. Wasted money. I should've known when I walked in and saw a printed sign that said no refunds, no makeovers and a few other things I can't remember. When I saw it while we were waiting to be seated, I said to my coworkers "wow, that's rude, so if your food sucks they don't care". No they don't. Never again! My family has been visiting this location for a couple of years now and have always had great service. Our most recnet visit was to celebrate my niece's birthday. I believe they provided her with a complimentary birthday cookie or something with whipped cream on it. No long wait for seating, orders taken quickly and efficiently, and food comes out in a timely manner following appetizers. You will get two kinds of salsa for the table, but neither is very spicy, kind of bland. When we sat down I had to ask who the waiter or waitress was for our table. There were several of the wait staff just standing around watching TV. When I finally did get a waiter he was very nonchalant did not care to wait at our table. When the food was delivered, the chicken was greasy and prepared like it was for a chicken fajita and not a chicken chimichanga. It was not seasoned or flavored at all. Also, when I asked our waiter for ketchup, he brought ketchup packets and not a ketchup bottle. I am very good at leaving tips for the wait staff. I have had problems many times at this restaurant with wrong orders and cold food. Today. I told the wAitress I wanted two tacos They brought a dinner. I did not accept the good and sent it back. They were unapologetic about it and the manager said" oh well it's lost! The only restaurant in the Stonecrest Mall area that was able to accommodate a party of 19 on such a short notice. For that reason alone, I'm pleased. We arrived and expected to wait 30 minutes or more, but we were seated within 10 minutes. Of the 19 guests, we had three toddlers; the establishment is kid friendly. None of my party had been here before and was suprised with the level of customer service we received. Our waiter was the best. He kept the drinks on full, brought us our food in a timely manner and was very calm and collected when handling us. On to the main course: So, I had the Nacho Grande with shrimp, steak, and chicken. The toppings also included sauteed onions, peppers, cheese sauce and I got a side of sour cream and lettuce. Some of my other guests had the shrimp and steak chimichanga, chicken/steak quesadilla, Grande burrito, etc; which they were all satisfied with. Also, try the fully loaded baked potato. It came with peppers, onions, spinach and a cheese sauce that made this one of the best baked potatoes I've had(will try to recreate at home). They also have wings for the people that aren't so daring when it comes to trying other things. Make sure that you come hungry, they give you nice sized portions. Overall, my crew was happy and full. Wowee... There is a lot of food on these plates; however, I wasn't blown away by it. When you order guacamole, you can make it yourself at the table or the server can make it for you. Well, we opted for our server to make it for us and we thought he was going to make it in front of us (that's what the menu says) but he actually made it in the kitchen. I came in on a late Saturday afternoon. I was promptly greeted and sat immediately. The place was huge inside and I love the fireplace. There were maybe 7 tables total in the restaurant. The margaritas were very sweet and tasted like syrup. Our server was very attentive and brought me a yummy and balanced mango Margarita on the rocks. Towards the end of my meal I found that other servers were taking care of us. I ordered the La Saren it was a very cheap cut of steak but the flavors were somewhat ok. IT WAS OK. AVERAGE. I understand that it is difficult to handle larger groups at times but the service and response from management was unacceptable. Our service never brought our half of the table waters and he took over an hour to enter our orders into the system. In contrast, the other half of the table had a different server who was excellent and her entire section finished eating before our food started coming out. When we expressed some frustration he didn't seem too bothered. We also let the manager know what was going on and he also didn't seem like he wanted to do anything to help speed up the process and didn't even apologize. On Saturday 2/4/2023, we had a party of 11 which we were accompanied with our party. Our waitress Angela was nice, professional, and working very hard to care for all the tables that she was assigned due to short staff and tables all over the restaurant. Unfortunately, some drink orders were not coming to the table on time so, the males in our party decided to go to the bar to get some drinks and the bartender was so rude and unprofessional. His girlfriend was sitting at the bar and holding up space so, one the male taps her lightly on her shoulder and ask was she finish ordering because they wanted to order some drinks to bring back to the table for the ladies. That's when the disrespect began. The bartender thought that someone was trying to pursue his girlfriend which that was totally not the case. Words were exchanged and the males came back to the table without drinks, and we were brought our checks then, was asked to leave. At this point, we still had food on the table, still waiting on food also. The security guard seen the whole incident and was trying to explain that it was not what it seen to the bartender but by this time it was blown out of proportion. The setting for the birthday dinner was disturb and we were looked upon like we were causing trouble. This experience was unacceptable we come to this establishment often and never had a problem. My family has patronized here for a lot of family events. I even have brought co-workers and employees to celebrate here. I feel something need to be done if not this establishment will loss more business than just my family. read more

I enjoy the casual atmosphere that is Don Tellos. I've visited the Dogwood Circle in Conyers and the location near Stonecrest Mall in Lithonia. The service is always amazing! The first visit I ordered the Vallartas. It is a grilled combination if shrimp, fish, scallops, and pineapple served in half a pineapple with rice, beans, guacamole salad with a dollop of sourcream! Effing yum---I've ordered this three times and it has been consistently delicious. The service is better at the Lithonia location but I think that my server at dogwoods demeanor was due to him being over 40...and others were younger and more charismatic.
