Shout out to the coupon on the back of our Kroger receipt bringing us here! Service was beyond excellent! My husband enjoyed all the tequila options. Our food came quick and hot! It was a great experience. We will definitely be back.

I really liked it here. Great quality of food. Really delicious. Very generous with chips and salsa and the portions are big. Love that they are so generous with the portions. Restaurant is clean. The service is great too. They got our orders correct and served us quickly. I recommend!

Don Tequila is my happy place. That might sound odd to say about a Mexican restaurant in a strip mall, but it's true and I don't care what that says about me. Everyone is so friendly and happy and the food is great. The happy hour can't be beat. And even if it's not happy hour, a pitcher margarita and a basket of chips is still a great deal. Since coming here for the first time I haven't been able to stay away. I think I've come here 4 out of the last 6 weekends. And I was sad one of the weekends I didn't come! It calls to me. The waiters say "see you next weekend" and they are right. I'll be here next weekend.

I'll keep this one short and sweet. If you like chains like El Vaquero or Los Mariachis, you'll like this place too. The service is fast and friendly. The ambiance is slightly upscale Mexican. The food is pretty solid Tex-Mex style. Their prices and value for the money are pretty standard. I've been here several times when I had that Tex-Mex craving, and I've never been disappointed. 4 Stars.

Decent! Have I had better Mexican food? Yes. Have I seen cooler molcajete? Yes. Do their corn tortillas need improvement? Yes :/ But overall the food was not bad - it was just kind of mid

We've been meaning to try Don Tequila, so we placed an online order for street tacos, Mexican fries, and Coke in glass bottles. They also added chips and salsa. The order was ready when stated, and the service was friendly. The fries and salsa were excellent. The chorizo tacos were pretty good, but we're curious to try other proteins (they also offer steak, pork carnitas, and chicken). The street tacos come with a nice tomatillo sauce. They also have a nice kids meal selection. There is plentiful parking in the shopping center lot.

I have been going here for about 2 years now and I have not yet been disappointed. I always feel very welcome here as the service is really good. I want to give a shoutout to Roberto, he is extremely nice and always makes sure to treat us well. The food here is fantastic. It is always delicious, and is extremely consistent which you don't seem to find with many restaurants now. It is always hot, it comes out fast and you get a really good amount of food, which I think is worth the money you spend. You get so much food sometimes I can't even finish it! Not a bad thing. The inside of the restaurant has a really nice, pleasant atmosphere. The decor is really nice looking and everything is very clean. Even the bathrooms are extremely clean and they smell fantastic. The only thing Don Tequila needs is bigger tables, as they have big plates and it gets pretty crowded on the table. haha. Anyway, I highly recommend giving Don Tequila a try, It will not disappoint.

Let me preface: I made the mistake and pitted Don Tequila against Arepazo. I happened to notice DTG offers some Venezuelan dishes, and I made up my mind to try their Patacon. Service was fast and efficient; the gal checked in a few times, and had a pleasant personality. DT's cilantro sauce was more of a mayo meets cilantro consistency. The lettuce was cut in big square chucks like from a salad mix, which wasn't helping in the plating appearance department. The grilled chicken was hot, but it didn't have much flavor. Event the fried sweet plantains were rather nondescript - SUPER sad face. The restaurant is nice inside, spacious with Mexican-themed decor spread tastefully about. I suppose if I grew up in the area my opinion may be different, who knows. A good try, but they could use more food-flavor to grab my tastebuds and draw me back in.

This was the first restaurant in Columbus where I had Burrea tacos. I have since experienced great birrea and not so fantastic burrea around town. Tonight, I had Kiki's quesadilla burria with consume. There was a spoonful of pico, lettuce and sour cream on the side but that was it. No beans, no rice. And no chips and salsa. Maybe that was on the menu, but we missed it. The beef was incredibly flavorful loaded with beef, cilantro and onions! Still one of the best! But the consume, while flavorful, was only broth. Two bottles of sauce were delivered to the table; green and red. The green was tomatollo based and mild. We didn't try the red sauce. Hubs had chicken chimichunga smothered in queso and served with rice and beans. Of course my husband ask them to hold the rice and double the beans. The whole beans were topped with shredded cheese. The beans were flavorful Both items were definitely items we would order again. Definately add this to your collection and make this a must on your restaurant list!

Loved that offered complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was mild but after adding some hot sauce from the bottles on the table, it worked for me. The chip basket at our table was never offered a refill. This played a role since we did have to wait a significant amount of time for our food After a lot of debating, I ordered a variety of tacos, asada, shrimp, and fish along with beans and rice. The fish taco was horrible it had a very strange after taste. I was also expecting it to be fried not grilled. I took one bite of it and had to stop. The asada taco was the one that was the best. The rice was fine but the beans should have been a thicker consistency. My group seemed to be 50/50 on the food. Some loved it and some thought it was just okay. The service was okay. I had to remind them I ordered a water and Jarritos when people were getting another round. The servers were very nice maybe just not used to a big group. I would come back if I was in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to have dinner here. Tip: Burritos were huge! Share if possible.

But Jafet greeted us with a friendly and polite manner and gave us a lot of information about the Mexican version of the cuisine (surprise!). We were impressed with the Michelada (with mango chamoy and dusting of Tajin) and Mezcalita (Mezcal with pineapple). So good. Step aside, Margarita! (Also not that popular or usual in Mexico) We ordered the Tacos Dorado and the recommended Mexico City Taco ("House Special") that had steak, refried beans, pickled cactus, and fries, wrapped in corn tortillas. We are amazed. Thank you Jafet, we will back for more Friday tacos!
