It's not like we were transported to Mexico on a culinary experience unmatched by any other restaurants in America. This spot is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. The choripollo was just shredded chicken with little to no chorizo and shredded queso cheese on top not melted. Two small tacos with dry meats inside shouldn't be worth $5 a piece Ala cart with NO BEANS NO RICE. The Chimichangas were the size of TAQUITOS. The drinks had little to no tequila and was mostly chaser. No way we'll EVER come back here with their whopping over the top pricing and MID food. Asked if there was extra shrimp and the server seemed unsure and brought out 4 more. When asking why charged for 4 extra shrimp the manager came over said 10 shrimp were present before the extra shrimp and asked why we didn't ask for something to be done about the tomato. I've been here for lunch a couple of times, been happy with both visits... I'll keep this simple: * Portions are generous * Prices are fair * Chips and salsa are complimentary * A pint of beer is only $5.99 If you like savory Tex-Mex comfort food, you'll probably like this place. It's nothing fancy, but nice enough for the average person. I've always been very happy with their service and the food has always been just fine. I've ordered two different dishes so far and both were very good. The Lunch Combo #9 ($9.49) is a combo platter and it's an excellent value. You get one each: taco, burrito and an enchilada. *By the way, you can opt for American or Mexican style tacos. The Fajita Lunch Special #14 ($9.29) is really more like a dinner sized portion so expect to be real full when you are done. I've posted photos so you can get a look at what you'd get. I have been eating at Fiesta Mariachi for nearly a decade at both the Grove City and Georgesville Rd Locations. The menu and food has been fairly consistent the entire time, with maybe two or three additions and a few removed. This visit was the first time the menu has had a big change. The server mentioned they hired a new chef who specializes in seafood and they added about 7 new items. She gave me the new specials menu and I tried the Pescado Culichi, which was Bass Fish in a green sauce and it was very good. I'll try out the other items soon, read more

They have a large menu so it's a lot to choose from. They also offer the price for one or two on most items. I usually go with my husband and get the meals for two. Saves you a couple of bucks. I was craving Mexican and I happened to be near Fiesta Mariachi. I swung in and grabbed a seat on the patio. I always feel safer outdoors than sitting indoors with COVID. My server was quick to greet me and take my drink order. Chips and salsa arrived at the table soon after. I was struck with the thickness of the chip. For me when eating at a Mexican restaurant it is all about the chips and salsa. I didn't love the heartiness of the chip or the lack of salt in my opinion. Don't get me wrong though, I kept eating them. I had wanted to order guacamole but on the menu the only guac listed was Fiesta Fresh Guacamole which is a large bowl for $9.99. It was just me enjoying this meal, I did not need a large order, nor did I need to spend 10 bucks on guac. I discussed with my awesome server and he said he could get me a small order for less. I jumped on that. I also went to order the three taco carnitas. I liked that they were served with corn tortillas which is my preference. My server quickly suggested that I order the carnitas meal for $14.49. He said it was the same only more pork and the tortillas come on the side. I agreed. A short time later my raspberry margarita on the rocks arrived. It looked beautiful in the big fish bowl glassware. I took a sip and it was a let down. I think I was hoping for a little more punch to my margarita. But of course when my server came back around and suggested I get another margarita even though I mentally was not planning on it, yes came out of my mouth. My carnitas arrived and the plate was heaping with meat, rice, and beans. The tortillas served on the side were sadly flour not corn. I never had a chance to request corn tortillas. My first bite of the carnitas was heaven. The meat was flavorful, moist, it literally melted in my mouth. I would totally order them again, but it was just too much meat for me. And I couldn't take a to go because I was heading to a football game. I was bummed because I ended up spending more money on my dinner when I should have just stuck with the three taco carnitas for for $12.99. When my bill came and it was over $40.00 for a quick dinner I was a little shocked. It was filling and my server was awesome and very good at his job, upselling me on multiple things. I hate giving this bad review because this was our local go to Mexican Restaurant. We just went in for lunch on Cinco de Mayo was it busy yes but not crazy. We were seated right away were given chips and salsa and then we sat there for 15 mins. No waiter. Meanwhile people seated after us were given drinks and orders taken and still no waiter! I would love to post a positive update for this restaurant, but I can't, because the past 3 times I've stopped to dine in, I can't seem to get served. I get seated after a 10 minutes wait at the front & then I'm sat where servers scurry about, but never bother to stop at my table. My rule is 10 minutes then I'm peacing out & each time I'm heading for the door defeated. Came here with my boyfriend for dinner over a month ago. Ordered the shrimp tacos which was yummy and flavorful. The sauce was spicy and tasty. Wanted a margarita but not the premixed one. My boyfriend ordered the strawberry margarita. I asked if they could make mine with silver patron, a skinny margarita with real lime juice and limes not the pre-mixed sugary drink... and spicy with jalapeño and salt on the rim. I know they typically don't make this here but when I did ask if they could they did and it was super yummy exactly what I wanted from a real margarita it was light and refreshing. I was happy with my drink and food order. After tasting my drink my boyfriend wished he had waited to try mine before ordering his drink. We know what we will have next time. read more

As I'm sitting in the restaurant extremely disappointed and dissatisfied, I thought now would be a good time to make a review. Where do I start? We were seated relatively quick (party of 2). Our drinks orders were taken and when they were brought back out to us the disappointment began. My Partner order a corona Rita frozen and it came out extremely watery. I ordered a pina colada that must have been virgin because there was no indication that alcohol was added. My waiter who wasn't the friendliest seemed to have an attitude when I told her I hated my drink. Not to mention that we waited 15-20 mins just for her to come back so that we could complain. I normally don't complain at restaurants because I respect the grind of a waiter but today was different. The establishment wasn't busy so I just don't understand!! We've came on nights where it was packed with waits and have had an better experience than today! I ended up buying myself a shot to add to my drink and just trooping it out! You can get a delicious entree for less than 20 mins wait time from call-in/order. I am so glad I finally went to check this place out! It was excellent! I got a bean enchilada and beef taco with rice. Not too fancy, but I'm so glad because everyone else at the table got more than they bargained for! The portions are HUGE. My friend ordered what I think was called the El Molcajete after looking back at the online menu. This thing was crazy big. All your hot stuff comes in a hot stone like bowl, then you have a plate of rice, beans, lettuce, and sour cream, and THEN you get tortillas. Pervasive smell of bad cologne that I'm told was air freshener overpowers you when you walk in. Never got used to it as the slightly floral scent did not compliment the food smells. I have no idea why anyone would give Fiesta Mariachi anything less than 5 stars! This place is a little gem in a sea of strip mall eateries and fast food joints. First off, the staff is so friendly! You can tell this place is family owned and they take pride in their business. The restaurant has great decor and is very warm & inviting. The menu is large with a ton of choices. I ordered the fajitas for one and it could have fed a small army! My parents ordered the Mariachi Fajitas which had chicken, steak, shrimp and sausage, along with the usual pepper and onions. The amount of food they were given was unreal! We brought our Aunt who is 1. the pickiest eater alive and 2. been known to send food back several times until the chef runs from the restaurant screaming "Uncle." She had a quesadilla and not only liked it, but ate the entire thing! Be warned: they keep a set of musical instruments on the bar and if you bring you crazy old dad, he may start playing them...all of them...to your entire table's embarrassment.
