    Tomatoes removed from the dish

The food was cooked well, but not the way it was ordered. Asked for extra shrimp and no tomato, however there was tomato and limited shrimp. Asked if there was extra shrimp and the server seemed unsure and brought out 4 more. When asking why charged for 4 extra shrimp the manager came over said 10 shrimp were present before the extra shrimp and asked why we didn't ask for something to be done about the tomato. We had already said something to the server. See if you can find the shrimp. I did find most of the tomato.

I've been here for lunch a couple of times, been happy with both visits... I'll keep this simple: * Portions are generous * Prices are fair * Chips and salsa are complimentary * A pint of beer is only $5.99 If you like savory Tex-Mex comfort food, you'll probably like this place. It's nothing fancy, but nice enough for the average person. I've always been very happy with their service and the food has always been just fine. I've ordered two different dishes so far and both were very good. The Lunch Combo #9 ($9.49) is a combo platter and it's an excellent value. You get one each: taco, burrito and an enchilada. *By the way, you can opt for American or Mexican style tacos. The Fajita Lunch Special #14 ($9.29) is really more like a dinner sized portion so expect to be real full when you are done. I've posted photos so you can get a look at what you'd get. It's a pretty solid place all in all and it won't tear a hole in your wallet. 4 Stars.

    New menu

I have been eating at Fiesta Mariachi for nearly a decade at both the Grove City and Georgesville Rd Locations. The menu and food has been fairly consistent the entire time, with maybe two or three additions and a few removed. This visit was the first time the menu has had a big change. The server mentioned they hired a new chef who specializes in seafood and they added about 7 new items. She gave me the new specials menu and I tried the Pescado Culichi, which was Bass Fish in a green sauce and it was very good. I'll try out the other items soon,

I was craving Mexican and I happened to be near Fiesta Mariachi. I swung in and grabbed a seat on the patio. I always feel safer outdoors than sitting indoors with COVID. My server was quick to greet me and take my drink order. Chips and salsa arrived at the table soon after. I was struck with the thickness of the chip. For me when eating at a Mexican restaurant it is all about the chips and salsa. I didn't love the heartiness of the chip or the lack of salt in my opinion. Don't get me wrong though, I kept eating them. I had wanted to order guacamole but on the menu the only guac listed was Fiesta Fresh Guacamole which is a large bowl for $9.99. It was just me enjoying this meal, I did not need a large order, nor did I need to spend 10 bucks on guac. I discussed with my awesome server and he said he could get me a small order for less. I jumped on that. I also went to order the three taco carnitas. I liked that they were served with corn tortillas which is my preference. My server quickly suggested that I order the carnitas meal for $14.49. He said it was the same only more pork and the tortillas come on the side. I agreed. A short time later my raspberry margarita on the rocks arrived. It looked beautiful in the big fish bowl glassware. I took a sip and it was a let down. I think I was hoping for a little more punch to my margarita. But of course when my server came back around and suggested I get another margarita even though I mentally was not planning on it, yes came out of my mouth. My carnitas arrived and the plate was heaping with meat, rice, and beans. The tortillas served on the side were sadly flour not corn. I never had a chance to request corn tortillas. My first bite of the carnitas was heaven. The meat was flavorful, moist, it literally melted in my mouth. I would totally order them again, but it was just too much meat for me. And I couldn't take a to go because I was heading to a football game. I was bummed because I ended up spending more money on my dinner when I should have just stuck with the three taco carnitas for for $12.99. When my bill came and it was over $40.00 for a quick dinner I was a little shocked. It was filling and my server was awesome and very good at his job, upselling me on multiple things. I would have been happier with tastier chips, fresher guac, corn tortillas, and margaritas with a punch.

Give me a bowl of those chips and that salsa to myself. It was so good. Our friends brought us here for lunch because it's one of their favorites. I was not disappointed. The margaritas were tasty and the food was pretty authentic for Ohio. The portions were good sized and the prices were very reasonable. Our waiter was right on top of things. As soon as a refill was needed, he was right there and really friendly. A good time was had by all of us and we'd definitely return.

I sit at the bar and I'm greeted by something I've never had ever...chips served with 2 red salsas, a verde salsa and bean dip! Usually you just get chips, a small bowl and a carafe of salsa, help yourself. This set the tone that this would be different than usual. I ordered steak fajita nachos and a Modelo Negra. I powered thru the chips and bean dip like it was my job. And it didn't disappoint. Really fresh and flavorful. Nachos are nachos, right? Wrong. How they are assembled has everything to do with their mouth feel as they cool down. I've had nachos that come out looking amazing but as they cool, turn into a disappointing chuck of chips held together by shredded cheese cement. These stayed loose with crunchy bites of peppers and onions, and the cheese sauce coated instead of becoming cement-like. I always order the same thing when trying a New Mexican spot. If the nachos are good, chances are everything is good! So I'll keep the almost 5 Star steak going. I agree, some of the best Mexican food in Columbus.

Ricardo, a waiter at Cazuela's Mexican Cantina in Reynoldsburg, had finished serving a table, expecting the usual--a tip, a simple acknowledgment of his hard work. Instead, he received a hateful message scrawled on the receipt, the kind that cuts deeper than words should. Ricardo works at Cazuela's only on Sundays, a second job to help make ends meet. So today, in between my OCIA responsibilities, I decided to stop by--to meet him, to shake his hand, and to remind him that there are far more good people in this world than the ones who spew hate. As we talked, I saw a man who carries himself with quiet dignity, someone who simply wants to work hard and provide for his family. I shared with him that I, too, know what it feels like to be told to "go back to your country," even though, like him, I am an American. I told him about my childhood, standing in front of my family's Crestview Market, hearing the ugly chants from passing cars--some driven by kids I went to school with. But today wasn't just about reliving painful memories; it was about something greater--the power of community, of kindness that drowns out cruelty. When I arrived at Cazuela's, I wasn't alone. Others had also come to show their support, to stand with Ricardo. He told me the outpouring of kindness had been overwhelming, and I was relieved to hear it. Before I left, I handed him my WARM card and told him if he ever needed help, he could call me. Because no one should feel alone in moments like these. And, by the way, if you ever stop by Cazuela's, their enchiladas and Mexican rice are fantastic. The chips and salsa? Fresh and addictive. And my server, Isabel--attentive, kind, and everything a great waitress should be. Some people choose to spread hate. But today, I saw so many more people choosing love. And thats what matters.
