Combo 8 and combo 13. (1 Enchilada, 1 Tamale, Rice & Beans Combo) (1 Enchilada, 1 Beef Burrito & 1 Chile Relleno Combo)

The food was good and the prices were amazing! The service was good and the food came out quickly. We got combos 8 and 13 so we could try everything along with an extra tamale. I will be back for sure!

I've been here for lunch a couple of times, been happy with both visits... I'll keep this simple: * Portions are generous * Prices are fair * Chips and salsa are complimentary * A pint of beer is only $5.99 If you like savory Tex-Mex comfort food, you'll probably like this place. It's nothing fancy, but nice enough for the average person. I've always been very happy with their service and the food has always been just fine. I've ordered two different dishes so far and both were very good. The Lunch Combo #9 ($9.49) is a combo platter and it's an excellent value. You get one each: taco, burrito and an enchilada. *By the way, you can opt for American or Mexican style tacos. The Fajita Lunch Special #14 ($9.29) is really more like a dinner sized portion so expect to be real full when you are done. I've posted photos so you can get a look at what you'd get. It's a pretty solid place all in all and it won't tear a hole in your wallet. 4 Stars.

    Tomatoes removed from the dish

The food was cooked well, but not the way it was ordered. Asked for extra shrimp and no tomato, however there was tomato and limited shrimp. Asked if there was extra shrimp and the server seemed unsure and brought out 4 more. When asking why charged for 4 extra shrimp the manager came over said 10 shrimp were present before the extra shrimp and asked why we didn't ask for something to be done about the tomato. We had already said something to the server. See if you can find the shrimp. I did find most of the tomato.

    New menu

I have been eating at Fiesta Mariachi for nearly a decade at both the Grove City and Georgesville Rd Locations. The menu and food has been fairly consistent the entire time, with maybe two or three additions and a few removed. This visit was the first time the menu has had a big change. The server mentioned they hired a new chef who specializes in seafood and they added about 7 new items. She gave me the new specials menu and I tried the Pescado Culichi, which was Bass Fish in a green sauce and it was very good. I'll try out the other items soon,

I was craving Mexican and I happened to be near Fiesta Mariachi. I swung in and grabbed a seat on the patio. I always feel safer outdoors than sitting indoors with COVID. My server was quick to greet me and take my drink order. Chips and salsa arrived at the table soon after. I was struck with the thickness of the chip. For me when eating at a Mexican restaurant it is all about the chips and salsa. I didn't love the heartiness of the chip or the lack of salt in my opinion. Don't get me wrong though, I kept eating them. I had wanted to order guacamole but on the menu the only guac listed was Fiesta Fresh Guacamole which is a large bowl for $9.99. It was just me enjoying this meal, I did not need a large order, nor did I need to spend 10 bucks on guac. I discussed with my awesome server and he said he could get me a small order for less. I jumped on that. I also went to order the three taco carnitas. I liked that they were served with corn tortillas which is my preference. My server quickly suggested that I order the carnitas meal for $14.49. He said it was the same only more pork and the tortillas come on the side. I agreed. A short time later my raspberry margarita on the rocks arrived. It looked beautiful in the big fish bowl glassware. I took a sip and it was a let down. I think I was hoping for a little more punch to my margarita. But of course when my server came back around and suggested I get another margarita even though I mentally was not planning on it, yes came out of my mouth. My carnitas arrived and the plate was heaping with meat, rice, and beans. The tortillas served on the side were sadly flour not corn. I never had a chance to request corn tortillas. My first bite of the carnitas was heaven. The meat was flavorful, moist, it literally melted in my mouth. I would totally order them again, but it was just too much meat for me. And I couldn't take a to go because I was heading to a football game. I was bummed because I ended up spending more money on my dinner when I should have just stuck with the three taco carnitas for for $12.99. When my bill came and it was over $40.00 for a quick dinner I was a little shocked. It was filling and my server was awesome and very good at his job, upselling me on multiple things. I would have been happier with tastier chips, fresher guac, corn tortillas, and margaritas with a punch.

Give me a bowl of those chips and that salsa to myself. It was so good. Our friends brought us here for lunch because it's one of their favorites. I was not disappointed. The margaritas were tasty and the food was pretty authentic for Ohio. The portions were good sized and the prices were very reasonable. Our waiter was right on top of things. As soon as a refill was needed, he was right there and really friendly. A good time was had by all of us and we'd definitely return.

But Jafet greeted us with a friendly and polite manner and gave us a lot of information about the Mexican version of the cuisine (surprise!). We were impressed with the Michelada (with mango chamoy and dusting of Tajin) and Mezcalita (Mezcal with pineapple). So good. Step aside, Margarita! (Also not that popular or usual in Mexico) We ordered the Tacos Dorado and the recommended Mexico City Taco ("House Special") that had steak, refried beans, pickled cactus, and fries, wrapped in corn tortillas. We are amazed. Thank you Jafet, we will back for more Friday tacos!

I swear the music playing is a recording of a DJ at a wedding lol. Out come the nachos and they look amazing. He also brings a little stand for my cell phone so I can eat and watch YouTube. Never have I had that offered to me at any restaurant. His hustle, service and smile was appreciated. The nachos were really good. The marinated pork, cheese sauce, fresh chips, chunks of pineapple, sour cream and salsa verde just came together well. Bonus points for the cheese sauce. Not to mention I watched him prepare everything thru the glass counter. He's back there having fun then brings your food out with a smile. Love it. If it were super busy I don't know how he would keep up, but I appreciate his hustle. Yelp, your recommendation didn't disappoint. Clouds are threatening rain but the day is in the 70's and inside/outside patio doors are open. After a warm greating, we were seated and our favorite chips and salsa were delivered . We are off to a great start! The salsa is house made with chunks of tomato, onion, peppers sourced from New Mexico and other spices that come together perfectly. This is one of those things you want a day old - it gives the flavors a chance to deepen and is the best salsa EVER. Our son joined us for lunch (which was a treat for us). BUT he is deeply committed to their kid's Mac & Cheese. (SMH) and the chips and salsa. Dont blame us; he was raised better than that! Hubs and I ordered the Lunch Shredded Beef Burrito. (Our favorite meal at Chili Verde.). The beef is fork tender and so flavorable. Wrapped in a fresh tortilla and served with your choice of red or green sauce on top. We opted to use that awesome salsa to top our burtito tableside. Lunch burritos include one side. Rice and beans are the default options but I ordered the corn and hubs ordered the mashed potatoes. Dinner includes 2 sides and a larger burrito. The mashed potatoes are hand-mashed with a few chunks here and there and lightly spiced. These potatoes are a family favorite. The corn is whole kernals seasoned with onions and bacon and lightly sweetened. This is my all time go-to! Hubs also recommends the pinto beans. Served as a whole bean served in a little gravy/liquid; the side dish is peppery and yummy. The secret is out about this restaurant and it is always busy. I recommend making a reservation through open table before you visit. I posted pics of today's lunch including our empty plates that we easily could have licked clean!
