This was a great experience! We got seated immediately and they served some chips and not-so-spicy salsa. The room we were in and even the bathrooms had cute decor. I got the Fiesta Chicken Salad and WOW the chicken did not disappoint. The seasoning was on point and they were extremely generous with the portions! Incredible traditional Mexican street tacos, down to the cilantro and chopped onions. They are very generous with meat portions, the meat was succulent, fresh, and good quality. I ordered a negro modelo, chips/ salsa and guacamole to start and then three street tacos with flan for dessert. The bill came to $26.34... which found very reasonable despite being charged for chips and salsa. Speaking of the salsa, it wasn't your typical fair but an authentic roasted pepper/smooth version. Nice light flavor pepper, but not spicy. Was provided two different squeeze bottles for the tacos. One your typical verde, the other a slightly creamy habanero with great flavor and medium spice level. If you don't like a bit of heat, leave it for others. Everything was good, a pleasing meal if not exceptional. Id come back if i could. Probably not for those with low patience. Mine got better with rather large draft modelo i was served. I have ordered throughout the pandemic from Do2 Sabores (directly through the restaurant) and have almost enjoyed it as much as when my wife and I would dine in! The bread for the cemitas is still fresh and the memelas well presented. (I miss dining in and can't wait until it's actually safer to do so!). Most recently we placed an order through one of their delivery partners (DoorDash) and the food arrived perfectly. The sopes were plated as if we were in the restaurant dining, the tacos perfect, and the flan delicious. I even added on the trio of dips, which was a great idea. Fresh made guacamole, queso, and a pico. (The pico with the salsa verde on the shrimp tacos was an absolute delight!) The sweet server brought chips & salsa. I ordered guac, which came out with more chips. It went down nicely - so good and fresh! The chips are fresh as well. I had the shrimp fajita memela. It was tasty. I also ordered a steak burrito to go for my husband. He liked. I actually look forward to coming back and trying other menu items. So strolling through Yelp I find Do2 Sabores. How many places get five stars? Answer: not many. I went there not quite knowing what to expect and left craving another Chemita ASAP. The staff were exceptionally friendly and explained exactly what the things I'd never heard of were. I ordered a steak taco, just because ($2) and a pollo Milanese chemita. The taco was VERY good, but totally eclipsed by the Chemita. It was a sandwich on fresh baked bread, layers of flavor packed into a bun that left me wanting more. My margarita was good, salted and flavored well, but that was the only thing I liked :( the chips and salsa took forever to get to the table and when they did get to us, the chips were really stale. My tacos were super dry and underseasoned, and the service was slow and bad despite us being 1 of only 2 tables. My husband did actually like what he got (it was called something like Diablo Shrimp, its pictured) so I gave 3 stars. But I would never go back. read more

The food is decent, but when we went there were hardly any people in the restaurant (which is already small in itself). Once we ordered the server would not even look toward our table--which needed more chips and salsa as well as more water. We waited 30 minutes for our food to come out. Then we asked for chips and salsa and you would've thought we just asked for them to sell their first born. I had never tried Cemitas or Memelas before so I jumped at the chance to have lunch at this spot. Suuuper tasty guacamole and chips. I loved how thin the chips were and they seem made in-house. The guac was so fresh, simple, balanced and just perfect, really. Their salsa was interesting, I'd never had a salsa like they serve here. It was really good - kinda sweet and maybe a little smoky? The biggest difference is that it's pureéd so if you're a chunky salsa lover, be prepared. We tried the breaded chicken Cemita, a shredded pork Memela, and a fajita quesadilla. (yes, basically 3 meals but we wanted to try everything!) Cemita: Interesting mix of ingredients! I was kinda thrown off by ham being on every sandwich regardless of the meat you choose but I'm guessing that's just my lack of knowledge on what a Cemita is. The avocado was sliced and just perfectly ripe and the mound of shredded cheese on top was massive. I liked the sandwich but I'm not sure I'd order one again. I truly think it's just because it's not a food that's familiar to me or holds that 'comfort food' feeling. But yes, it was tasty, so you should try it! They are HUGE though so I'm glad I was splitting with my husband. Memela: Memelas were another thing I had never tried. It was basically an oval of fried masa (maybe?), like a thicker corn tortilla. The carnitas on it was great. I loved the simplicity of toppings: a thin smear of refried beans, the shredded pork, some onion, cilantro and a bit of crumbled cheese. This was great with some salsa verde added! Fajita Quesadilla: This was my husband's favorite. It was loaded with chicken and sauteed peppers (and of course, lots of cheese). There was a mild smokiness to everything - I'm wondering if the smokiness is part of the Puebla cuisine? Overall this was a great discovery (thank you Yelp!). The queso was great with the tortilla chips, but I also ordered warm soft flour tortillas to dip in it. Yum! I ordered churros for desert. I haven't tried them yet. I'm too full, but they also came with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. I wasn't expecting that. Looking forward to enjoying them. I was looking for a new place to go to lunch and I spotted a sign that this was a new Mexican place and it was close to where I worked so I ventured into here. I knew it was pretty new because it was kind of awkward when I came in and sat down and waited a bit long to get service. I think this was because they are trying to work things out. However, the server brought me some salsa and chips and a menu. The salsa has a bit of a spicy kick which I liked as most are bland. I ordered the al pastor torta which is humongous. I had to take half back to work. It came with a pepper instead of a pickle thought that was neat. They have many authentic Mexican dishes on their menu and I will be back with my other half to try them for dinner. It's located in a pretty non descriptive strip and it's sign isn't easy to read just look for the words Mexican Grill and it will lead you to this gem. read more
