    Fresh Guacamole - Small

Went here with some friends for happy hour! The place is very cute inside with colorful decor. You can get happy hour throughout the restaurant which is nice. I wish they had better happy hour specials instead of 15% off the whole menu.. not much of a discount in my opinion. My favorite item was the chicken nachos- they were freshly fried chips and a ton of toppings. We also enjoyed the margarita flight tower which offers a variety of flavors (loved the coconut, strawberry and watermelon- they are sweet so prepare yourself for that). Our server was attentive and helped us with choosing menu items.

I came here on a Friday afternoon for happy hour and got two steak tacos ($8), two chorizo tacos ($8), and two empanadas ($7). I also got a coconut margarita ($8) and their beers are also $5 during happy hour. The margarita tasted good, although it was personally not strong enough for me. I really enjoyed the steak and chorizo tacos. I thought the meat was seasoned well. The empanadas had a crispy exterior with a flavorful filling of ground beef. The service was okay. I had to keep looking back at our server to put an order in. At some point our server was switched. In terms of the ambience, it is a Mexican themed restaurant. They have a wall showcasing different brands logo of tequila. I would like to come back here on Taco Tuesday when three tacos are only $10.

If you are in the Locust Point area and searching for authentic Mexican food! First of the drinks have great flavor. I had the margarita and my fiancée had a pineapple mojito. We shared toastado and steak fajitas and both were really good. The staff is nice, attentive and always went over and beyond. I will definitely be going back when looking for good authentic Mexican food.

Service was great! It is really nice inside and decorated well. Food was okay. I think it's a bit too much for one pepper, rice, and beans (chile relleno).

So my food adventures today lead me down to Locust Point. A friend of mines told me these were some of the best tacos in the city so you know me I had to come check them out for myself. The service was excellent we didn't have a long wait literally were seated upon walking in. But the shocking part was the restaurant was rather crowded. We got a nice window seat & a good server Julio that constantly made sure everything was good. I ordered the 3 tacos special. The tacos came out very quick nice & hot. They were loaded not the little small ones that leave you hungry 20 minutes after you eat them. It was a lot of other delicious looking things on the menu that makes a return here in my future

Don Tigre is mediocre, at best. On a Saturday night, there was absolutely no wait with an abundance of open tables. This was a clear indication of what was to come. We were warmly greeted and seated at the bar. After perusing the menu, we decided on a Chicken Quesadilla and two tacos - one fish and one steak. For drinks, we chose a Mexican Mule and the Cantarito. Although the cocktails were satisfying, the food was subpar. The quesadilla was bland and greasy. The tacos were as underwhelming; steak was tough and the single piece of battered fish was microscopic. It lacked the authentic Mexican flavor that I expected.

I've been to Don Tigre twice and it remains my favorite Mexican spot in Baltimore. Having come from Los Angeles and missing my family's cooking, Don Tigre is the one place that reminds me of home. You can find free street parking a few blocks down and walk on over or park in the paid parking garage located nearby. I came here most recently to celebrate my birthday and they even brought out a dessert and tequila shot to celebrate! They sang me happy birthday and gave me the giant sombrero they have to wear. It was really lovely and felt like I was right at home. The place is also decorated in a warm and welcoming fashion with lots of fun unique decor pieces. Guava margarita 4/5, I've never had a guava flavored drink prior to coming here and while this is a little strong I still think it's a good drink Birria tacos 5/5, soft tender meat, good with and without the sauce but the sauce adds so much! Ground beef empanada 4.5/5, well seasoned thoroughly cooked, soft meat Elote 4.5/5, seasoned just slightly spicy. The first time I had this it has a bit too much of the cream but this time was perfect. The corn itself is fresh but def be prepared to use a toothpick. Chips and Guacamole + Salsa 5/5, the guacamole was incredible. We needed to order more chips so that we could finish the guacamole.

Walked in and loved the atmosphere. It was bright, colorful, floral with nice music playing. We were greeted and taken to our table. Our server, Albery was friendly, attentive, and overall, a joy to have as a server...we even talked about football. Go Ravens! Our drinks were fruity and tasty. The meal was great. We will certainly be back.

It was a good experience overall. I tried the nachos. Im a fairly simple eater, so it was good for me! Service was a little slow even though it wasn't busy. Overall our server was friendly though. There was a minor misunderstanding regarding my order, but everything was fine. I ended up having the watermelon margarita. It was good. The establishment was clean. The decor is Mexican themed-and cute. Casual environment.

Went here for happy hour. Happy hour has special prices are margaritas and sangria. I ordered a margarita and cheese dip, two single tacos -al pastor and chorizo. The server gave us nachos and salsa to start. My friend ordered street corn on a stick and it was delicious. Everything was delicious! The decorations and ambience was bright and we went before the dinner crowd so it was nice and quiet. The service was quick and our server answered all of our questions. She was nice and offered us more nachos and kept checking in on us to make sure we were okay. Definitely will come back again.

This was Taco Mamma, which, after not having been open long, decided to rebrand. I went in on a Thursday afternoon as the only customer in the place. Still, I had to flag my waiter down twice. He did bring a carafe of water, which is always nice, but my glass was very obviously dirty. I ordered a coke which, thankfully, came in a bottle and not one of their glasses. Everything is overpriced for what it is. The food is not great, not horrible, and comparable to what you'd get a Chipotle. I tried the radish garnish and it did not seem fresh. This is a Mexican restaurant that does not have horchata. They have a very wide array of alcohol and a full bar. I was given a drinks menu but was not trying to drink at 3pm. They offer guacamole made at your table, a nice touch, but at a whopping $18. I know of a popular Mexican restaurant that provides the service for $10. I had high hopes initially when this spot opened the first time around but was sorely disappointed and never returned. I was curious as to the changes made and they seem to be mostly surface level and a change in name. They think highly of themselves for a very mid experience and do not seem to be a popular lunch spot in an area rampant with options.

    Queso Dip - Starters

Queso was the consistency of yogurt and sour cream. Do not recommend. Cantarito drink was very refreshing and delicious and served in a nice ceramic cup. Server was fantastic.

Each taco is extremely fresh and I can tell that it was crafted meticulously in the kitchen. Be mindful that each taco is priced separately and you get a single taco ranging from $10.00 - 15.00. The guacamole is fresh and garnished with strawberries. Personally, I typically go for a spicier and more flavorful guac, but if you opt for a fresh and simple dish, then it certainly checks the box. The queso is thick, cheesy, and topped with peppers. I personally could appreciate a creamier queso, but I will say the dish looks and smells amazing. The oysters are rather small in size but they're extremely fresh and come topped with a jalapeño. My expectations for the drinks were a bit higher than what they delivered. Drinks tasted a bit watery and the flavor wasn't as potent (this says a lot for someone like myself who is pretty light weight). Service was fairly accommodating, however, keep in mind that they enforce a rule of having half of your party there prior to seating you. Also be mindful that their menu changes to dinner at 5:00PM, and seating at the outside bar may be closed depending on when you arrive. My favorite of all the dishes was the was the Al Pastor taco! I'd like to give this place another try because just based off of the aesthetic alone it has sooo much potential to be absolutely amazing!

Don't let the outside deceive you. Once you walk in you'll smell the fresh cilantro and chile. It took a bit to translate the menu, but you'll figure it out. There are plenty of options. The server helped us figure it out and we were set. I ordered the El pastor tacos, beans & rice, and tortilla chips. The tacos were theeee best! What I loved the most is that the corn tortillas didn't fall apart!!! I hate it when I go to eat a taco and it falls apart. They cooked the tortillas enough so they held up, but were still soft. Did I already say how good the tacos were?! Along with the meat is cilantro, some onions, and you can top it with some green chili sauce. Sooooo good! The pico de Gallo was some of the best I've ever had. I know what you're thinking. How could you go wrong with pico de Gallo? Yeah, I wonder the same thing, but this pico was FRESH with just the right ratio of tomato, onion, cilantro, etc. Next time I'll order two of them. The chips are restaurant-made. That was our first indicator that the food was going to be ALL that we hoped it would be. AND it was. The beans were pinto beans. Memories from home and the ultimate comfort food.
