Served with rice and beans and you get a choice of two meats on a flour or corn tortilla. I got the Pastor and the steak tacos. They're topped with white onion and cilantro and there is a salsa Verde on the side. the platter comes with rice and beans. Both tacos were juicy with lots of flavor. The rice was light and fluffy. Seen this place on instagram and decided to make it a girls day and do dinner. I was super excited because I wanted to try the Patron tower. The place is not the biggest of restaurants but it's pleasant to look at. So I order a tower only to find out the my were sold out after waiting a while I notice a table finish using theirs I asked the waitress can we get it, she agreed to go get it. Service here is horrendous, sat for 20 minutes before anyone came over, place wasn't even busy. Took another 10 mins for water. Then we ordered and the appetizer and food came out within 2 minutes of each other which is ridiculous because we didn't even eat the appetizer yet. I ordered a margarita that came out after the entrees, I ordered the drink at the beginning and it came out almost 30 mins later. The timing in this place between kitchen, bar, and servers is so off, it's ridiculous and total crap. The food is decent nothing spectacular. Chipotle is across the street, honestly better. Would likely not return with other better Mexican restaurants in the area. They also charge 15% gratuity for checks over $65 which is crazy, never seen that before. Just avoid if you can. read more

We visited Don Tigre on Cinco de Mayo and we had a blast!!! What a fun atmosphere. The place was packed and we were seated in 15 minutes! The staff was soooo sweet and accommodating throughout our experience. The margarita flight was delicious. Flavors of strawberry, original, margarita flavor, mango, and prickled pear. I tried the birria tacos and my guy tried the birria pizza. Both were solid choices. The flavors gelled very well. The sauce was savory with hints of lime and cilantro. We had been wanting to try this new place and decided to stop in at happy hour. The place was very noisy because a large group was there celebrating. They also were playing loud music so it was hard to hear. The waitress came over and I ordered a house margarita and the flautas. My daughter ordered a cheese quesadilla. They also brought out chips and salsa. My daughter liked her quesadilla. I found the flautas to be mushy on the inside and when you bite into them the chicken filling pushes out of the back of the crispy shell. It didn't have a lot of flavor but came with guacamole and sour cream which made it better. At the end we paid out check and I thought it was a bit high for what we had. The bill was almost $50 with tip. On the way out we saw the happy hour menu that was not on our table and the waitress never mentioned to us. I noticed that everything that we ordered was on the happy hour menu for half the price what they charged us. I went back to the server and complained that we were over charged. She said next time we have to say that we wanted the happy hour. It was not our fault they didn't show us the menu or tell us about the happy hour or honor the prices of the happy hour even though we ordered during happy hour. They did give us a $15 gift card but that didn't seem to make up the difference to me and I found it very rude that the server suggested that next time I will know to ask about the happy hour prices. It seems like a bait and switch scam to me. I asked to speak to the manager which is embarrassing and not something I do. They told us we would have to take a seat and wait because the manager was not available to speak to us even though the place was emptied out by this point. We went in at happy hour time. Be aware that parking is super difficult in this area. It's super loud in here because of how it is set up. I ordered a quesadilla and my dad got the house margarita and the chicken flautas, all were on the happy hour menu we saw outside. It was pretty average. It was no better than something I could make at home. I was going to maybe get the veggie quesadilla but it had cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots. Like what? This is a quesadilla, not sheppard's pie. Stick to peppers and onions. However they did give me free guac with my quesadilla on accident so that was cool. My dads flautas looked frozen, and overall the food felt unauthentic. When we got the bill it was huge! And then we realized that we were not given the happy hour prices... then we looked around and saw that a bunch of tables had little happy hour menus and ours did not. When we talked to the waitress, she tried to convince us it was our fault because we didn't specifically ask for the "happy hour margarita" and "happy hour quesadilla". Insane. Also, discovered that they dont make thier margaritas from scratch, which is lazy. Filled with additives and preservatives. They should change that. My family and I came to this restaurant based on the review of someone and TikTok video. As we walked in , a group of people were arguing loudly with one of the waiters that we almost walked out. Firstly, we had to ask for service as we waited 10 minutes without anyone coming over. Although the food came out fairly fast, several items had to be sent back because the food was wrong. The manager had to come out and ask what was the problem because so many plates were sent back. We had to ask for the wait time on the correction of the last plate which then took an additional 10 minutes after the other corrected plates returned. My cousin was asked, "so you didn't like your fajitas?"by the manager. My cousin stated, "I ordered steak and this is chicken." The manager then says, "oh, she (the waiter) made a mistake?" When it was time to pay, 20% was automatically charged to each of our cards without permission. When we asked about it, the waiter mentioned, "I'm sorry. I didn't realize that it automatically charges that after a certain number of guests." There were only four of us, by the way. No effort was made to reassure us that this would be the case and this was not shared beforehand. The environment was a bit tense. Some sort of seemed on edge and others seemed to be in their own world. Not really sure what the other guests were arguing about with a receipt when we walked in but I imagine it was the same thing or something similar. Please, have better service and at best communicate. People pay money for good food AND the experience/atmosphere. I will not be coming back to this establishment. Went here for the first time today to meet friends for lunch. It's cozy and comfortable and the staff are friendly and attentive. Lunch special was a great value and portions were generous. I took home leftovers that I ate for dinner. For $15 i got a chili soup, 2 tacos of my choosing (barbacoa and paneer tikka which were both delicious), rice, beans, and complimentary chips and salsa. They've got some kinks to iron out if they're going to stick around. First the good: the space is fun and bright. I'm obsessed with the tacky Tiffany parrot lights and loud colors. The margaritas are generous, house made chips are crisp and salty. The not so good: our server at first seemed to be in a rush to turn over our table, stopping by every couple of minutes and then after our food arrived was nowhere to be found. You get one small serving of chips and salsa and that's it. Any more any you'll have to pay. We ordered the guac (pricey for the amount) and the queso and both came with such a sad smattering of chips I actually laughed out loud. We actually had to buy chips to eat the dips we had paid for. The margaritas are strong and big, but certainly not even close to what I would call good. If you've ever had margaritas made with the Jose Cuervo mix sold at grocery stores you know what I'm talking about. The enchiladas were fine but they actually forgot to put in the order for my daughter's food, so we had to flag down a manager to get that taken care of because as I mentioned the server was MIA. Even with her food comped the four of us spent more than $100 for what I can honestly describe as pretty standard quality Mexican food. I didn't even get an entree, so spending that much is pretty wild. I'll allow that some of this stuff is likely because they're new, so I'm willing to give it another try. It is my understanding that this place just opened in the last two months. My wife, daughter and I went there on a Thursday evening. The place appears to be able to accommodate 50-60 guests . It was near capacity when we arrived. We ordered the steak & shrimp fajitas. We ordered the flour taco shells and our daughter ordered the corn taco shells. The fajitas came out in short order looking good. The steak was very tender and generous in size. While the shrimp were delicious, my only concern was that the shell was left on the tail. We all ordered the classic margarita and they came chilled and a little strong to my wife's taste. Although she mentioned that it was strong, she didn't send have any trouble asking for a second one. I can imagine that the weekend crowd fills this place to capacity. Suggest you go early and enjoy the fine food and drink. read more
