I have never had anything here that isn't delicious. The chicken street taco on the brunch menu is one of my favorite foods of all time, and you can't beat $2 mimosas. I don't recommend going at Happy Hour. Good prices and the food is fine, but the staff is not up to the task. The hostesses were short and sarcastic. Our server was nice but only visited our table once. Our food came out at separate times, about ten minutes between them. They forgot one of my dishes so I reminded the server (to be fair, he comped it). Lastly, we had to ask for our checks because our server forgot about us and when they came, it was a mess and people were charged for the wrong thing. I'm pretty sure we were double charged. My friend got approached by a man who groped her almost double her age and when when she asked him to leave her alone she was asked to leave by security guards. This man asked my friend on multiple occasions to leave with her and she denied him. Multiple women approached him and told him to leave her alone since she had denied him and was the designated driver aka had nothing to drink. I cannot believe that something would happen when so many security guards are around. Clarendon needed this revival. After not heading into the area for a few years due to lackluster bars and a terrible college crowd, the same guys who brought Atown to the area brought this new concept in. It def revitalized the Clarendon nightlife and has pretty damn good food too. Also by far the best looking crowd in Arlington and a nice change of people compared to some of the other bars The tacos are always good and they have a wide variety. The all you can eat brunch really steps the place up for Sat and Sun afternoons as well. Happy Hour lasts until 8 and they have great food and beer specials. The margaritas are always on point as well. It has 3 floors with the bottom one mainly being a restaurant sitting area but the top 2 floors are where its at. Prime real estate, I swear. ;) At that time there was a line to get to the rooftop. Which is definitely worth the wait. It was beautiful out and all we wanted to do was enjoy some drinks and the weather. The security guards do a very good job at controlling the crowd too so you aren't constantly bumping into people and hating life. They're also very kind and approachable. My friends went downstairs for a smoke and they were able to come back up with no problem. It is a non-smoking rooftop bar. Which is awesome. No girls like their hair smelling like cigs. Unless you're weird. The awesome stuff: -Drinks were made SO DAMN FAST. It took me longer to get a credit card out of my wallet than for the bartender to actually make my drink. You'd think the drinks were made sloppy and weak. But nope. Not at Don Tito's. Yummy, strong, and wanting me to chug it so I can have another. I'm not an alcoholic, I promise. The bartender on the rooftop was named Peter and was crackin jokes the entire time. He didn't let that happy hour rush come in between customer service. Gotta love it! First review in a long time, long time Yelp user. Reporting here that I received Clostridium Perfringens by eating here late at night on taco Tuesday. The Carne Asada tacos came out very quickly, and the temperature lukewarm. I normally spot this and send it back, but it was late and I was with friends. It's what happens to food when it is cooked, then cooled, and never reheated properly. Experiencing severe abdominal pain because of it. I came here for brunch with a bunch of friends and got the Benedict Carnitas. They were two large disc chips that was very meaty and had a perfectly poached egg on each chip. The potatoes that came with the two benedicts were very delicious. The whole meal together VERY delicious, and I would highly recommend this place for brunch. I came here late on a Friday night to enjoy some food and got so much more. I came with my sister Mariea for her birthday dinner. We sat upstairs where the atmosphere turns into a club and we were surrounded by dancing and loud music. Anyways the food was delicious, I had a pear margarita, guacamole with chips, Mac and cheese bites, and the steak tacos. It was all amazing and worth being here in the club environment. Not only do the second and third floors smell like vomit, but the service is poor . The line is always extremely long just to get in and be pushed around and get an attitude from the staff. The crowd is trashy and ruins the Clarendon vibe. This is the same owner as a bunch of local establishments all who are obsessed with themselves but nothing to show for it. They claim to be social media influencers but have yet to improve the food or service at Don Tito's. They are not influencing anything but me not coming to their places. These type of establishment ruin what used to be charming Clarendon with dive bars and mom and pop shops. Don-Tito which is located in the heart of Clarendon is a sister of A-Town. I can honestly say that I'm a fan of Don Tito's brunch. Mind you I have tried both A-Town and Don Tito's brunch and I'm impressed by Don Tito's because of their massive food selection and their drink specials. They have a total of 3 floors with a bar on each floor. Space is limited especially during the summer once the rooftop opens. But the view is just amazing especially during those summer nights. Expect long lines and minimal space at night. The night life experience can be very crowded but the good side is that all 3 floors have a bathroom. Definitely a go to place for nightlife. They have an various selections of Tequila and they provide flights as well for a decent price. Moving forward, I've thoroughly enjoy brunch and happy hour due to their specials and their amazing food options. Food options for brunch definitely go to Don Tito's. Where to start? We came during the NCAA tournament on Sunday, with a group of 6. Two of our party were at the bar already and joined us. They said the bar was nice, with fairly prompt service. After about 20 minutes the server showed up. This isn't an exaggerated timeline, and it was a good indication of what was coming. The server was polite and apologetic, and they were very busy, so we collectively shrugged off the wait, and ordered drinks, as well as some tacos and two apps. The server seemed a little confused about some items, but I assumed it was just new guy stuff, new restaurant, etc. About 10 minutes went by and nothing. Then 20. The server came back and looked confused. We asked about the drinks, he rushed off and came back with beers but no margaritas. The tacos came out after a staggering 30 minutes. The server was a mess, and couldn't remember the rest of the order, or get it to us. After an hour we finally got our queso ( bland and chalky ) and southwest chicken egg rolls (dry, not well seasoned). High priced for zero execution. The queso was served with no chips until we asked. Eventually, we spoke to a manager named Victoria who discounted our bill and apologized. She handled it well considering the circumstances. Brunch is by far the best in all of Arlington. For $25 for adults, $13 for kids, $3 frozen margaritas, draft beers, mimosas, it can't be beat. To top it all off, wide selection of seating area to choose from. I recommend the rooftop if the weather is nice. From the same guys that brings you the buffet brunch at A-town, they bring similar but even better for selections at Don Tito. My favorite was the taco bar! Most of the food seems fresh and we're absolutely delicious, including the desserts where they had cookies (which were ok) flan, chocolate filled churros, and much much more. Service was great although could be improved. The check was brought out with another table's items on there and was initially charged for 3 adult brunches when clearly my 5 year old daughter shouldn't have been charged for an adult. So a little better attention to detail when delivering the check would've prevented this. Also, a couple times a food runner came to deliver us for that was meant for another table. This all didn't take away from the great food and environment but more pointers for management to discuss with their staff, especially if they are new. Highly recommend Don Tito for Sunday brunch. Even though Clarendon's crowd may not be the most discerning group out there [Hey, I can say that because I'm from here and I went to GMU Law, so...we basically keep the Clarendon businesses alive! At least the bars...ha] The owners of Don Tito, whose claim Arlington fame is A-Town, really did a great job with this new venture. The location is spot-on and gives them a great opportunity to capitalize on the HH/party scene of Clarendon. The Ballston area can be a bit tricky as it has way more residents and apartments that are close to the restaurants. The building was completely transformed from the old Eventide design into a modern and trendy hangout with in my opinion, the best rooftop in the Arlington area. I have been to Don Tito various times and what I can say is the drinks are consistent and always good. The second floor is always packed, but if you don't want to wait for a drink, the first floor may be a better bet. As for food, I am in love with their small plates. The chicken wings are so delicious and flavorful and the smoked chicken egg rolls...I kept wanting more! My experience with the tacos have been meh - I ordered the surf and turf tacos but mine were super cold, so I think it kind of ruined the taste. However, everyone else in my party enjoyed their tacos, so I saw it as a fluke. I am sure Don Tito will be a great hangout once Football season commences! For $25/person you can eat yourself silly from their entire brunch menu -- think tacos, breakfast dishes, desserts, all of it! Some highlights were the chicken/chorizo empanadas, braised pork flatbread (with a great sriracha aoili), the sangria (1 pitcher for $20), and the fried ice cream. However, I can't say I didn't enjoy any of the probably 30 plates that came out during the course of our meal. Major props to our server and the team for keeping up with a table of 9 hungry friends. Seriously the hottest spot in the Clarendon area. The first time I came to Don Tito I went straight to the root top and it has the best view of the city. The second time I went for dinner, there were only a couple tables left open but one of the Managers Victoria came over and helped me and my friends move the tables around so that we could all enjoy our meals together. This place is definitely a much welcome contrast to most of those places with their excellent service. I love the crispy carne asada tacos. Very fresh ingredients with very flavorful meat. Guacamole is excellent and I am a complete Guacamole snob - bad Guacamole ruins a restaurant experience for me. Sangria is awesome too - not too sweet and not too strong. Super different experiences but both superb. Robbie is one of the best servers I've ever had--really attentive and personable. He made sure to give us endless supplies of chips and kept our drinks flowing. I ordered the mac and cheese balls--pretty good but I've had better. Tasted a bit too much like a giant ball of breaded kraft mac and cheese. The guacamole and salsa were on point though. Weekends are a bit busy, so plan to get there early if you want dinner. possibly the best tacos in the 703! visited on a Tuesday during mid April around happy hour. the restaurant has three floors; first floor has large sets of doors that open to the sidewalk and Wilson Blvd, second floor is enclosed, third floor is actually roof-top dining with scenic views of the local area. each floor has its own bar (rooftop has two bars). our group of three dined on the roof-top. staff: our waitress was actually training, so she had a tag-a-long. both ladies were cheerful and exceptionally knowledgeable about food AND beverage offerings. she made several recommendations of signature tacos, as well as tequila parings to go well with OUR tastes. complementary chips and salsa were never empty, nor were our glasses. no question that the prompt, knowledgeable, and fun staff is a large contributor to making us return customers! food: chips and salsa were brought to the table free of charge, as well an seemingly endless refills. the house salsa has a unique smoky flavor which distinguishes it from other local Mexican joints. we asked for something spicier, and received a squeeze bottle of a house green chilli sauce. the green chilli sauce was a perfect blend of cilantro, lime, tomatillo, and jalapeno. i'd recommend asking for the green sauce, as its flavor is far more unique than any other salsa. since it was happy hour Tuesday, all SOFT tacos from the menu were 1/2 off. we ordered the short rib, surf and turf, and chicken tacos. each order resulted in a set of two, so we actually received six tacos all together. the surf and turf were the most unique; with a beer battered shrimp atop a mound of deliciously sauced beef. the short rib and chicken tacos were also amazing. drinks: since we were dining during happy hour, we tried several beverages. the selection of craft beer was not vast, but rather sufficient. IPA offerings included bells two harted, lagunitias, and sam adams. other beer offerings include blue moon, devils backbone vienna lager, and others you would expect (bud/miller/coors). beers on the roof-top were served in 12oz plastic cups. in addition to beer, we sampled several reposado tequilas including black label, which was smooth an smokey. our waitress was impressively informed on the various tequila offerings, which absolutely contributed in us ordering several different varieties. finally, we had the house margarita. it was nothing impressive. overall, this establishment is making a name by offering fresh, delishious food with well trained and prompt staff, in a comfortable yet contemporary venue. read more

Their Happy Hour is from 3-8 AND they take reservations! Need I say more?! A group of my friends and I were seated on the second floor by the kitchen, which isn't ideal but how can I complain when we were already late for our reservations? The service was spectacular and so were the food! I couldn't have been more happy with our waitress who was giving us all sorts of recommendation, but it was hard to go wrong with anything.
