I haven't ordered Donatos in a LONG time until recently, I don't usually order from them because their pizzas are expensive, even with their piss poor coupons, but I still love their pizzas, and they are the only ones besides Papa John's, La Rosa's, Papa Murphy's, and Godfather's that have the perfect toppings for my favorite pizza. I ordered a large CYO thin crust pizza and an order of boneless BBQ wings, every time I go to either of these places I get a large pepperoni with mushrooms, sausage, ham, with extra cheese and/or extra sauce. They did a marvelous job on my pizza, the delivery was quick and my pizza was hot and loaded with toppings! It brought me back as to why I like Donatos so much, my grandpa even loved it. But despite how well they did I do have some gripes about my order, the boneless chicken wings were way too small, too small to warrant having them in a sizeable box they came in. 2. Is it just me or is their large thin crust pizza getting smaller and smaller?? I'm not sure if it's because I haven't had it in a long time but I distinctly remember their large being bigger than the pizza that was delivered to me, not only that, and I don't know if this is something that only applies to Xenia's Donatos restaurant, but I noticed that they don't have the extra large as an option anymore, which sucks, and if either of those issues are the case I probably won't be ordering from Donatos for awhile. Food was missing purchased ingredients; was dry, bland and flavorless. Manager was much less than friendly, taking order and remaking incorrect replacement; which was burned and lacking desired flavor! Waste of time and money to order from this particular store! Has gone down Hill since changes in ownership! read more

Dude was sort of nice yet the order was 7 minutes late not sure why other than the fact that he was on the only one working. His recent help that came in was apparently not with him most of the day. Donatos is chincin' on employees trying to make all of the profit for themselves apparently. I'm sure this is a franchise however - ... it's a clean spot. Employees don't wear face masks. I do not learn! I couldn't remember how long it had been since I ordered from here. Apparently, it's been five months and that did not go well. This didn't either. I'm tired. I did not want to even have a pb and j, because that requires effort. I ordered a side salad, no banana peppers, regular Italian. The picture clearly shows banana peppers. Don't know if you can see the receipt where it clearly states what I just said, nor do I know if you can see the Lite Italian dressing. My well done pizza, while very hot, was soggy. (Apparently they have four different ovens and mine went in one of the three wrong ones.) So why 2 stars? Because within minutes of posting on Donatos.com, the store manager (whose name escapes me or he never shared or I was disinterested, pick one) gave me a credit for what I spent. He was very nice and appropriately apologetic. So I will order another pizza in the next week or two and either eat it there or pick it up. Thought pizza for dinner tonight sounded good. As I was doing a carryout, I should have gone somewhere else. The pizza I was served was a huge disappointment. I ordered my favorite: a Margarita. I paid for extra tomato and didn't get it. In fact, the toppings were skimpy. And, to top it off, the pizza was dry and tasteless and way overcooked. The edges were black (burnt). I love Donatos Pizza... But why am I leaving a one star review for a pizza place I love? Well where do I begin.. . I have ordered at least 10 times from this Donatos location and 7 times they have somehow managed to mess up the orders. I figured that maybe they have gotten their act together by now but I think I was hoping for too much. I work in Oakwood and Centerville and have ordered from both of those Donatos multiple times and never have any issues. For some reason this Donatos just can't seem to get it right. So what have they messed up on? Twice they took over 2 hours to deliver. Once they couldn't deliver because they didn't have a driver- but didn't tell me... I had to call to see where my order was just to be told that I would have to come pick it up. On three separate occasions they have totally jacked up the toppings on my order. Twice I have written corporate with no response. Today I ordered the same thing I always order - double family sausage and jalapeños... I got half family sausage and jalapeños. I also had an all veggie pizza - with green peppers - of course they missed that too. Overall, I recommend Donatos pizza... Just stay away from the Xenia one. read more

Go to Donatos where they don't put up with bad customer service and treat customers with respect! Sitting here food less after being told the delivery driver called twice (he only called once and I didn't answer due to not seeing the phone ring, and hadn't checked my phone til after the estimated delivery time) from the store and twice from in front of the house. They said he walked up to the door, knocked, and no one answered. As you can see no tracks in the snow we were sitting less than 5 feet from the door the whole wait. The person who answered the phone was rude and disrespectful and so was the manager after I demanded to speak with her (I hope these calls are recorded for my talk with corporate tomorrow) I have a $50 bill credit from previous screwed up orders and have never been treated so poorly IN MY LIFE by anyone in the food industry, I don't like making bad reviews but after countless issues and bad experiences I'm furious! He didn't stop at the house, we didn't get our order, ALL previous orders in the last 3 months have been wrong, no refunds offered just the lousy $50 credit that we can't even use because they lie about even stopping out, and I have no idea what to do now. Customer service was terrible. There was no one at the register, when I walked up to it some woman and man argued over who was going to assist me, they were barely four feet in front of me. The place was dead, we were literally the only ones in there and all of our food was burnt. We ordered Strombolis, they were thin, nearly flat, no bigger than one slice of pizza. Avoid. read more

In general, I love Donato's pizza! I have given this particular store several chances and will not continue to come back. I can't pinpoint what is going wrong, but it takes forever for an order. I tried delivery, it took 3.5 hours to come. The pizza was cold, and they had obviously sent everything back through a warmer, because the breadsticks burnt and the cheese cup melted. I thought maybe the problem was with delivery and placed an order for pick up. Pizza, wings, breadsticks. I arrived 10 minutes after the time they had quoted me, they told me the pizza wasn't done yet, and they needed 15 more minutes to finish everything. Went back in after 15-20 minutes and they said they forgot to make the wings, but it would only take 15 minutes. I reluctantly agreed, but I bet you can guess what happened when I came back the third time. It still wasn't ready! By this time it had been an hour and a half since I placed the order and I asked for a refund. I do not have extra hours of time to be waiting for food. There are plenty of other pizza shops in Xenia, do not bother with Donato's. read more

The order took an hour to arrive. It arrived cold and soggy. Some of the items ordered did not come.

If I could give it zero stars, I would!! I've lived in Xenia for a number of years and have never had a worse experience with any pizza place here or anywhere else I've lived. Pizza arrived nearly 90 minutes after my order was placed and was so disgustingly soggy and undercooked, I immediately took photos and threw it directly into the trash. The entire bottom of the box was soaked in what I can only hope was at worst oil or grease and was dripping all over the place. As Donato's is one of the most expensive pizza delivery places in town, I couldn't believe the absolute disregard for the customer and any semblance of quality. When I called the store to register a complaint about the state of my order, the sales clerk was extremely helpful and apologetic while the manager was dismissive and made no attempt to go out of his way to make up for the horrendous experience and horrible quality of his store's product. I've worked in a pizza place years ago and could never stomach sending a customer such a horrible item paid for by hard earned money. They offered me a $10.79 credit which they can shove, as I will never order from that Donato's again after this experience!! read more
