Atmosphere inside is cozy yet electric. Service is nothing notable (not a bad thing). You order at the counter, sit down, and they bring the food to your table. The pizza is one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and is my favorite in Dayton. I was craving for some calzones and found Troni Brothers Pizza were the closest place to me that carried them. I ordered their deluxe calzone, meat lover calzone, tiramisu, and cannoli. Everything tasted delicious. The meat lover had a great balance of cheese and meat. The deluxe was very tasty, and adding the garlic parmesan sauce gave it an unexpectedly small spicy kick to the meal. The cannoli was sweet, crunchy, and very filling. The tiramisu was also a nice sweet treat. I think other than the food being amazing, the staff were amazing as well. The lady, most likely owner, was very sweet over the phone and in person. The atmosphere of the restaurant felt very welcoming and family oriented. Definitely plan on coming back here to try more of their menu, especially the pizza. Fantastic: we had heard about Troni brothers in Kettering, but then I noticed this one in Xenia when getting an oil change at Valvoline in front of the restaurant. The pizza is fantastic. We got a 16" deluxe, sauce and dough are top notch. I wanted to try their fettuccine sauce,so they brought us a bowl for $2, it's amazing too. Calamari was delicious. Garlic rolls are 1$ each, you don't have to buy 6 or 12. Nice sit down atmosphere wait staff is friendly, and up beat. It will be busy so get there early. We got two cannoli's to eat at home, yum. So glad they are in Xenia now. read more

When I saw that they have pizza by the slice, we had to go. It's a good size slice, and with a drink and chips, it's a good deal. The plain cheese is very good. My husband got additional toppings, we were happy that they have anchovies. I know anchovy is a little controversial, but we like it. I am happy that the pizza quality is still there. We also ordered a pie to go for the family at home. It was very good too. If you're a NY/NJ pizza snob like me, this is the place for you. My daughter ordered alfredo, it was a little bland, but she enjoyed it. The Alfredo came with garlic knots, which were very good. The side salad was tasty, and their house dressing is really good. The tiramisu was just not quite the best. It was good, but not great. Next time I'm going to try the limoncello instead. I've become a regular at the Wilmington location. Very informal atmosphere which I prefer to the more formal and unaffiliated Tronis on Dorothy Lane. Pleasant service and good food. We don't get it often but M-F they have a single large slice for eat in or takeout. About $ 4.50 and a nice meal in itself for most people. Never disappointed. Highly recommend. read more

I went in after the new owners took over to pick up carry out and wanted a ice tea to drink while I waited and was told they no longer served freshly brewed ice tea and no fountain drinks as "it's to much work and messy " all beverages were in bottle and only had sweet tea . Yea this place is gonna last .... I don't know where the lady got her business sense & analogy of too much work , fountain drinks and in-house made tea are staples and were you make your money as I think they're total idiots I'll never be back. We found Troni Brothers by accident and what a discovery it is! I am an east coast pizza snob and our choices for real NY Style pizza in Dayton Ohio are limited to say the least. (sorry locals, no offense, but I just can't eat the stuff around here that you call pizza.) We returned to Troni brothers a few times, and the food is authentic. It's fresh and it is so good. If you're looking for some good Italian cooking that even rivals the New York style pizza on the north side of Dayton; Troni Brothers is the place! Amazing. If you have not tried their Nonnas pie, you must. The closest pie on their menu to NY Pies. No need to ask them to cut triangles, either. That is automatically done here. I ordered takeout yesterday. My bf and I ordered the meatball sub. It was finished quickly and when we got it home it was huge! It must have been a good 14 inches. Placed a online order tonight for a pizza and garlic bread . Website said 40 mins. It is a Saturday after thanksgiving so that was expected. When my boyfriend arrived he overheard the staff say they have been trying to call him. Giving the impression the pizza had been sitting awhile. When he arrived home sure enough the cheese was almost hard. It actually was hard on the garlic bread.
