They did a plumbing inspection for us on our new home and we hired them to get some of the work done at the property once we moved in (new faucets, garbage disposal, pipes for washing machine, shower head and drain cover installation, new water main shutoff, etc.). Great company and really nice employees. I needed some kitchen installations done in a hurry as I had a large dinner party scheduled soon and a kitchen to finish quickly. They came out on a Sunday without charging me 100's of dollars extra. They were on time and did a great job. Richard was the guy that came out and was really nice to work with. He ran into a small snafu that couldn't be fixed on the first trip and scheduled a follow up appointment later that week. He got the job completely done and everything works great. Look - this was a lazy call. It doesn't take much to swap out a garbage disposal - especially like-for-like, but I just did not want to do it. Not yesterday when it broke, not today when my wife asked me to, not tomorrow when I would most likely just HAVE to do it because.. it's broke and who can't live without a garbage disposal? We called 5 different plumping services to request for quotes. This place gave us the BEST DEAL with the most ENERGETIC & positive attitude!! They are very KNOWLEDGEABLE , SKILLFUL, and RESPONSIBLE team with EXCELLENT service from the beginning to the end! We called them because of main drain line backed up. Chris came right on time, inspected the system, and patiently explained the issue with all possible solutions very clear. We then decided to install a clean-out T tube and hydro jet the main line. CHRIS was sent over to help out by fixing leaking valves under my sink and reroute a ceiling pipe into a horse shoe to make way for a canned downlight. He finished the job very quickly and chatted and provided additional homeowner's information. He double checked and found out that the RO filter system wasn't hooked on properly and made sure to reconnect the valves and ensure that the leak was all fixed. Initially the appointment was set at 8am, but rescheduled to 7am to fit my schedule. Would definitely recommend. Ask for CHRIS, he does a great job. read more

Simply Amazing! To be frank, I had snaked my own drain time and time again. Needless to say the problem kept occurring. Blocked kitchen sink and eventually blocked bathroom sink. Chris and Jason actually came at 10 a.m., though the window was 10 a.m.-noon. They were courteous and efficient, determining that eliminating the sewage smell only required running some water through the drains. They explained that, during the summer, running the AC actually removes humidity from the house, which often leaves the trays under the drains dry and allowing that smell to come through. They also went outside to check the piping underneath the house just in case there was a problem out there and actually complimented the plumber who redid all the plumbing. They didn't push for more expensive work and were done within about 15 minutes. My only charge was for the visit, but that's to be expected. read more

I could not be more please with Dave's service. We called him for a situation we thought was hopeless and he fixed it in 30 minutes and for a fair price. I called him at 7am and he came to my house in 15 minutes. Before calling him, we were working with the cole company and they were telling us the problem was going to be $6000+. If I could give less than one star for the service I received from this company this morning, I would, as that is exactly the amount of service I got. ABSOLUTELY NONE! I paid their UNDISCLOSED "investigation fee" of $79.50 for absolutely NOTHING! My first question to Dave when I called about a leak under my kitchen sink and one in the utility room that were causing soft spots in the flooring was "Do you work on mobile homes?" his answer was an unequivocal "yes". The guy they sent was well over 6 feet tall and over 250 - no way he could fit in the crawl space under my mobile home in order to do the work reasonably let alone properly. Dave should not have knowingly taken a job that they were physically unable to perform, nor should I have been charged a cent because they couldn't or weren't physically able to provide the services requested. $79.50 ($3.50 a minute) for absolutely NOTHING! Do not trust these guys, they do not have the ability to do the work on mobile homes that they say that they can and they have no hesitation in charging you anyway. Now I'm looking for a plumber who can actually do the job that they're paid for as I can't trust what the guy was able to point his flashlight at. $79.50 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! editing to reply - He ran the water in the kitchen sink for less than 30 seconds and touched no other fixtures in the entire house! As to a pressure test, unless he had a pair of pliers, that's a pretty tough trick. There was no mention of any kind of "investigation, service or diagnostic fee" when we spoke Dave, NONE! - I've called another plumber since your company is incapable of doing the work you agreed to and I've requested. The average or "normal" height of men in the US is 5.9 not 6.4 and the space seems to be no problem for the guys who work for the 3 or 4 other companies that replaced some of the fixtures under the unit. The plumber that I'm now using has free estimates and no hidden "fees". The items you mention - travel time, gas, your costs, etc. are your cost of doing business and should not be passed on to your clients, most especially when the services agreed upon were not completed in a reasonable manner. the end... The second company I hired yesterday did, indeed, locate and repair two leaks missed by flashlight guy this morning. Overall, I paid $185.00 for their repairs and $79.50 to Done-rite for absolutely nothing. Had I relied on their incompetence, who knows how much more damage could have been done to my home. Although a refund was offered - but only if I gave them information they had no legal right to possess and I removed this honest review of their work - I've chosen to let them keep the money as they need to be taught a lesson in basic honesty and the value of treating people fairly, and if this review helps in that, it's money well spent. Don't be misled by the reviews as I was. Do not trust these guys to do the work they say they can or will. Do not do business with these guys, their business practices are much less than honest. These guys are the real deal. Seriously. I needed to find the right plumbers after a decent leak was found coming from the interior faucet that connects to our fridge in the kitchen. Knowing how potentially serious it could have been, I consulted Yelp and went with the first 5-star company I could find, and they did not disappoint. I was in contact with two guys - David (the company owner) and Brady, who was specifically dispatched to solve the problem. I am incredibly pleased with the service Brady provided. Not only was he punctual (being the son of a U.S. Navy Veteran, I'm a stickler for timeliness), he was courteous, professional, and took the time to both explain the problem and answer any questions I had. Couple their professionalism with a fair price to fix the leak, I hired them on the spot. The job took about 20 minutes once he had all the necessary parts and he completed it without any issues (also a plus: they offered me a one-year warranty on their repair!) What could have been a royal pain in the ass ended up being a minor fix that was completed with top-shelf service. I will definitely contact them in the future for any other plumbing issues. As I've mentioned in other reviews, I'm a HUGE fan of supporting small/local businesses, and these guys exceeded my expectations. Stop looking for a plumber and call these guys. In one sentence, my experience with Done Rite was probably the best I've had with a plumber. It's easy to find a skilled plumber who wants to take every dollar he can from you, and to find one who's not so good. It's not so easy to find a great, honest plumber whose prices are also very reasonable. I've found that with Done Rite and they'll be the only plumbers allowed to do any work at my house from now on. Our main sewer (outgoing) line was clogged, and this was not the first time. When it happened a year and a half ago the line had to be hydro jetted at a cost in the $1000 range. And just three weeks ago, we had to have our incoming water main replaced (NOT by Done Rite) at a cost of over $3000 (which we now know was significantly overpriced). So, we were reeling a bit at the prospect of having to pay who knows how much to have this line unclogged. We first called another local plumber who came out and, to spare all the details, quoted us nearly $600 to send a camera down into the line to take a look and just do the basic rooter type cleaning--not a hydro jet. I declined, sent them on their way and started making calls to other plumbers. I'm so glad I ran into Done Rite. The admin person (Alyssa?) was personable and patiently listened to my story--much different than the other places where they just wanted to send someone out and get me off the line. She told me that she'd have Dave called me, and he did immediately. Dave was great. He explained the options and was very straightforward in discussing best case and worst case scenarios. His pricing was also straightforward, up front and very reasonable. He did caution, though, that it was likely my line would have to be hydro jetted due to the known root growth. Fair enough. I set up an appointment to have Chris come out the next day. I found Chris to be really knowledgeable and personable. He answered every question I had and asked if I had more! Best of all, once he got started he let me know that he could clear the clog with the cheaper option, the regular rooter with the metal blades. I was so relieved. He did that, and the whole time he asked if I could be there to watch everything on the camera so that I knew exactly what was happening. He pointed out where the roots had been and some irregularities in my pipe, but what I liked the most is what he didn't say--that oh no, your pipe is in bad shape and you need a $2500 pipe replacement right away or all is lost! Anyway, great service for a very reasonable price. When I do need that pipe replacement I'm calling Done Rite, no question about it. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! Got estimate from another company to fix shower valve and leaking faucets. They said we needed all new faucets (3) and shower fixtures (2) which we had to supply. The install estimate was $3,900 !!! Called Done Right, Dave came out and replaced washers in all faucets and both valves in showers. Bill was $960 mainly because the shower valves were pricey. Very sweet guys named Rob and Jay came out and checked out my main with a camera. We have been dealing with water bugs. Both the guys were helpful in trying to figure out what was causing our issue. We were so relieved to find out it was a huge sewer problem on our street. The city came out and have started to solve the problem . I have never dealt with more knowledgeable plumbers. After 3 load bangs on a Friday night I found my water heater had stop working. After checking reviews and reading Done-Rites owners message I decided to call first thing Saturday morning. I got a prompt call back and I learned they were booked out until at least Tuesday or Wednesday. Obviously that wasn't going to work but it wasn't long after we hung up when the friendly woman from Done-Rite called back (sorry I didn't catch your name) and said they had an opening between 4-6 that same day. I was told Robbie would be coming out. Done-Rite has excellent communication via text, phone and email. Robbie contacted me and arrived around 3:30pm. Robbie was quickly able to re-light my pilot when boom, small explosion again and the smell of burning. This was something Robbie had not experienced before. Rather than writing up a replacement quote right off the bat he did some quick research and found out my AO Smith water heater was under a recall. Unfortunately Done-Rite did not get a water heater sale but I can't tell you how much I appreciated Robbie going the extra mile and finding the information he found. If you want an honest business I would recommend Done-Rite. Because of Done-Rite and Robbie I was actually able to get my water heater repaired on Monday for free. read more

He was here within 30 minutes and quoted me a very fair price for 3 clogged toilets in our office building. It ended up being easier than he thought and he lowered his invoice. Who does that? Had him come out in December to clear the main and paid him more than we've paid anyone else, he came out again in February and said it was something else, and that may be true. Well we had that done too with a problem so he had to come back to fix it. Now here we are in March and have to find another plumber to do the main again. Not happy. read more

Just got an obstruction fixed on my sewer line at 7 pm on a Sunday evening and I am very pleased with the service and results. I tried calling the bigger chains to fix the problem but they were either too busy or would not honor their "specials" on a Sunday evening. My main line was clogged with ficus tree roots (it happens every couple of years - even with replaced pipes and the tree being removed). I called plumbing companies I have used in the past, but no one could come out until tomorrow afternoon. I checked out Yelp reviews and found Done-Rite Plumbing and Rooter. I called, hoping for the best, and Marc was at my house in about an hour! He cleared the stoppage and ran a camera to see where the problems are. The cost was very reasonable; in fact, it was much less than what I paid the last time I had to have the main line cleared. Marc also gave an estimate for a spot repair, but didn't try to sell it as a "must be done as soon as possible" repair (which past plumbers have tried to do). Done-Rite Plumbing and Rooter is the first company I'm calling for any future plumbing needs. I highly recommend this company! read more
