From the very beginning, Vanessa was extremely helpful and communicative. My appointment time had to be adjusted, and she called me personally to let me know and make sure the new time worked for me. Excellent Service -- Thorough, Professional, and Highly Recommended! We had an excellent experience with Chad, Dylan, and Brandon from Spedee Drains Plumbing. They came to our home to address a clogged kitchen sink drain, which has unfortunately been a recurring issue for us. This time, however, we feel confident that the problem was addressed thoroughly. Chad and Dylan came out at 10 p.m. the night before to assess the issue and were incredibly accommodating, arranging for the work to begin at 8:30 a.m. the following morning. The service took approximately 2 1/2 hours and included descaling and hydrojetting the drain. What really set this experience apart was how comprehensive they were. They performed camera inspections before, during, and after the work and showed us the inside of the drain so we could see the condition and their progress ourselves. They had to go approximately 38-40 feet into the drain line to completely clear the clog. Throughout the entire process, they kept us informed about what they were finding, what needed to be done, and how the work was progressing. We really appreciated that level of transparency. The warranty on the work also gives us tremendous peace of mind, especially since this has been a recurring problem at our home. Chad, Dylan, and Brandon demonstrated expertise, professionalism, care, and genuine empathy. They didn't rush the job--they took the time to do it right and made sure the drain was completely cleared before they finished. They were nice and prompt and definitely speedee. But the estimate was on the very high end. Originally it was a pipe repair for $1500. I hesitated so it went down to $1300. Then when they dug it up, they saw an extending crack in the PVC pipe. They had already cut the pipe (which another plumber later pointed out) then they recommended the whole pipe be replaced. I could understand that. But the cost of $8000? To dig another 10-15ft in the dirt (not concrete) I hesitated so the cost went down to $6500 with a 25 yr warranty on the new pipe. Luckily I got a 2nd opinion/estimate from a plumber referred by my real estate agent. He temporarily connected the pipes so I could have running water tonight for $350 and is coming back in the morning to replace the cracked portion for $1000. PM me if you have questions. Update: Other plumber did not see a crack shown in picture which we both thought was weird. If you look at the picture the mud on the pipe is also cracked. ??? read more

We had such an amazing experience with Jossue! We suddenly had no hot water late at night and were panicking because we have two babies at home. Ever have one of those months where you feel like when it rains, it pours? If it hasn't been broken yet, it will eventually fail at the least opportune time. So, my townhouse has a kitchen on the 2nd floor and I've had plumbers come out in the past to address the issue of a backed up sink, or slow moving drain. It's gotten to the point where snaking it will not fix it. I have had it hydro-jetted twice in the past 5 years and it's getting ridiculous. I just need a kitchen sink that works! We have been pretty careful about what goes down the drain and the problem occurs almost every 12 - 18 months. So, it was time to contact a plumber, yet again. I put the request out on Yelp and received a number of messages & calls from plumbers in the area. My husband has limited plumbing knowledge and attempted to fix the problem for about a week. After a week, my kitchen sink was still not draining properly, and the house is looking worse for wear as items are piling up on the counters. I finally reached out to Speedee Drains & Plumbing since they have excellent reviews on Yelp. I am first and foremost a gal who reads reviews. Their hours state 24/7 and I called late on a Friday evening. The person I spoke with put me into their system for the first appointment the following day on August 1st. My time window was 8 - 10 am, which worked for my weekend schedule. The following day, I woke up early, got ready, and waited. By 9:50, I had not heard from Speedee so I called. James answered and I asked what the ETA was for the tech who was supposed to be at my house. He sounded confused. I explained that I had called the night before requesting someone to come and snake my drain. There was clearly a scheduling snafu. Do not be like me and wait until the last 10 minutes of your window to call! James asked me if I could be available later that afternoon, which was indeed fine as I still wanted someone to come out to address the drain. The same tech mind you was scheduled to come between 3 - 5 pm. Ben N. arrived around 3:54 pm. I did receive a text at 3:16 pm saying he was on his way. So look for that on route text. He quickly apologized for the confusion and went to diagnose the issue with my drain. I gave them a quick history of what has plagued me over the years and he nodded his head as I explained. He basically said that snaking it would not address the issue for me as so much gunk has accumulated in the pipe that it has made the inner diameter smaller, which is why it was still draining albeit slowly. He showed me the video on his camera as he slowly snaked through my drain pipe. He recommended a descale, hydro-jet combination which was pretty expensive to be honest. He did agree to work with me with some discounts, especially for the earlier inconvenience and brought the pricing down significantly. He also added on a 5-year warranty for the work. Do not be afraid to barter with him because he might just entertain your offer. It turns out that Ben and James are brothers and they co-own Speedee Drains. He scheduled his tech Chris to come out on Sunday morning to do the descaling and hydro-jet. Chris arrived shortly before 9 am on Sunday. He admitted that Ben did not tell him the sink was on the 2nd floor. Well, oops. Chris spoke mostly Spanish but we were able to communicate mostly repeating each other and me throwing in a couple of Spanish phrases. We got his giant machine upstairs and he got to work. He was also communicating with Ben throughout the process while my husband and I waited. At some point Ben made his way over to take a look at the progress. Both of them showed us the now cleared pipes and then asked about the P-trap that we had taken apart ahead of time. They reinstalled it for us but, it was leaking underneath. Ben mentioned that we could probably get a new nut for the slip joint at Home Depot. So instead of having him provide the part, even though I had mentioned it to him that I might need a new one; we agreed to go to the hardware store to look for it. Unfortunately, my home had to come with a specialized nut for the slip joint that included a recessed bevel. No one at HD had ever seen something like it. It's an ABS 1.5 inch nut with part 2740 on it, so if anyone knows how I can get another one, please let me know. So, I went home emptyhanded because HD only sells standard parts and we got on the phone with Ben again. By the way, the HD employee said that a plumbing supply store like Ferguson's might carry it, but they are closed on Sundays. At this point, Ben said he would go look for it and if not, he'd replumb the under sink area for us since I was still without a working sink. However, he had mentioned we could try plumber's tape on the slip joint. Lo and behold, it worked. Plumber's tape and my husband saved the day. We told Ben that he did not need to make another trip back. I placed a tub underneath the sink overnight to catch leaks. I'm happy to report no leaks and a working drain. 5 stars. read more

He recommended replacing the cast iron trap with ABS and took the time to thoroughly explain what was causing the problem and why this was the right solution. He gave us a fair price and even looked for additional discounts to help make the repair more affordable. Since we needed it done quickly, he rearranged his schedule to fit us in right away. Kevin and his partner, Matt, completed the job in under two hours. Our home is on a slab, so they had to carefully chip away concrete to replace the old piping, but they worked efficiently and did excellent quality work. Sunday night. Water leaking through my first-floor ceiling from the second story. Total homeowner nightmare. I called 4 plumbers in a panic. Three didn't even bother answering. I cannot say enough about Speedee Drains. Amazing, super friendly, courteous, honest, and knowledgeable guys. I had an issue with my pool filter's suction. I had used a plunger and pulled out a couple pool tiles and I could get my rooter in the inlet. I found them on Yelp and they immediately responded with a very good price on rooting out the line. Unfortunately, like me, they couldn't make a turn in the pipes with their equipment so they suggested going in from behind, which required me digging up my back yard a bit. They spent two days and we all racked our brains and tried all kinds of methods to clear out the line. In the end, we got it cleared and my pool filter never had better suction in the twelve years I've been in my home. I'm compelled to write this review on behalf of my mother and I. We called regarding her bathroom sink having draining issues. I was surprised by the initial quote for service and by how quickly they arrived (within 45 Minutes on a Sunday). Kevin, Jeffery, and Kai arrived in their professionally clean truck and work uniforms which set the tone. I was apprehensive at first until I found out this company was on yelp. Kevin was our main point of contact. It may sound cliche, but Kevin instantly made my mother feel at ease and explained his motivations clearly. As his team did their due diligence/ discovery work we were shown major plumbing issues. It was a blessing because this work was long over due and it needed to be done. They presented us with pictures and videos which helped a great deal and it created trust. The amount of money spent was well worth every penny. We elected to move ahead with changing all plumbing due to many leaks and cracked piping. As the repair work progressed we were presented with one more major issue, the gas lines were charged with electricity. If these guys hadn't checked, who knows if this home would still be around. Kevin and his team discovered the water heater was never grounded and thus our gas lines were charged. I/ We owe Kevin a great debt of gratitude. Yes we spent more than we wanted to, but we have no buyer remorse. Unfortunately, the old cast iron had internally corroded so much that even the snake couldn't pass through. Josue recommended to replace the cast iron drains section that connects my two bathroom.
