Everything is good here! They are known for their Ca nuong or crispy whole fish that you eat rolled up in rice paper with lettuce, cucumber, carrots, mints and other veggies! Dipping sauce for that is perfect! Even the skin and thing edible bones are tasty! Their pho broth is better than I expected, the bo la lot (beef grilled in Vietnamese mint leaves) is really good! Came here for the ca nuong aka the restaurant's grilled fish dish. For $55 for a large dish, the fish was gigantic. The skin was crispy and the meat was juicy! It was a little bland for my liking. I have actually come here a couple of times and it's pretty consistent food wise, which is pretty average/good! I enjoy the egg rolls and he Vietnamese style hot pot here, as well as the shellfish fried rice! The vermecelli unfortunately had more noodles than lettuce :( But the grilled chicken was DELICOUSSS. I normally like pho bang a lot, but my aunt and uncle wanted to come here because it is more clean. It is a new place, so yeah it is clean (better be since it's new). However, by ordering Pho all the time, you miss out on the vibrant & complex flavors that Vietnamese food has to offer. So I decided to skip Pho and went for 7 Courses of Beef. The Food: NOT 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, BUT 7 COURSES OF BEEF! Last time I checked, U.S. is the undisputed heavyweight champion of eating beef. But I do not think any American has had 7 courses dedicated to beef. STEP UP AMERICA! Bo 7 Mon: 7 carefully crafted courses centered on exhibiting the versatility and different flavors of beef. Just imagine that the actor is Beef, and it is placed in different customs & settings. All courses come out at one time, and fill the table with rich & meaty fragrance. Dishes are accompanied by rice paper & warm water that is used to rehydrate them. These are used to make spring roll-like wraps with the beef dishes. They offer a large selection of dishes on their menu, varying from single serving to shared dishes as family-style dining. Regardless, they do well with most of the dishes I have tried. The atmosphere is clean and family-friendly. Tables can be rearranged to accommodate a large group. Services are ok. Their most popular dish maybe the deep fried baled fish. It seems strange that the fish was cooked with 2 different cooking method, but it is how it comes with a super crispy skin but not overly oiled. The medium fish can serve 2-3 people. They also have 7-courses beef, which is a tradition meal that cooked with beef by different method. Try it to see how beef was made in different dishes but still very harmonious. Single dishes such as pho, noodles and broken rice are good as well. Overall, this is a good place to take a large group so they can either choose their entries or making a feast to serve everyone. read more

Thanks to Webra1 on Chowhound I found this place out. It's nicer than I expected, clean, attractive and spacious. My favorite dish of the night was the meatball and soft tendon pho, I definitely recommend this. Sugarcane shrimp was very interesting, ground shrimp formed onto a sugarcane stick, not at all what I was expecting. Next was sea salt frog legs which was my least favorite dish, the legs on top had no seasoning and on the bottom it was so salty it was inedible. I'm not really sure why my friend recommended this one, lol. I will be showing them this review so I'm giving them a hard time. Their food here is delicious. We had take out for Valentine's Day and it was an amazing dinner. We had two brisket pho and lemongrass steak and we lucked up and had lots of leftovers. This is one of the places I go when I want some good authentic vietnamese food. It satisfy my cravings! I usually get the Bun Cha Ha Noi or the Baked Fish when I go here, but everything else is good too! Customer Service...meh.. but it's an asian restaurant. Do you really expect GREAT service? Really? I have to say it doesn't suck though. They will seat you, take your order, check on you once for water refills and never check on you again. That's just how it is. haha. I think its mainly just for BIG FAMILY LUNCH/DINNERS because the tables are all made for that. There is only a couple of tables that seat 4 or less. Give it a try if you want some good viet food! This is now my new favorite place when it comes to the specialty Vietnamese dishes! Everything that I've tried here was not bad at all. The Pho was decent (not the best I've had but pretty good), the Bun Bo Hue was flavorful, the fried rice was yummy, and the baked fish was spectacular! I would eat the baked fish here rather than at Saigon Block. The baked fish is impressive! The dish comes with a lot fresh greens and rice papers. It's like eating DIY spring rolls. You grab a piece of fish and moisten you rice paper then pile everything into it. Then you roll it like a burrito and dip it in to their special dipping sauce. This place looks a bit sketch on the outside but it's pretty decent on the inside despite the Christmas ornaments handing from the ceiling. We were greeted immediately upon walking through the doors and seated. A guy came to our table and took our drink orders and a few minutes later another one asked for our order. I was one of the first customers near 7pm, but the place was full by the time I left. I personally didn't like the catfish as much as my favorite place in houston that serves the same dish. The clams were alright, I'm just not big on baked seafood, since it usually has various toppings on it. My cousin ordered a large fried catfish (???) for us to eat in at the restaurant and the moment I ate here, I FELL HARD! The service here is mostly kind and the seating is pretty convenient. Came here last night because I heard that this place might be better than Saigon Block, which I am a big fan of! We ordered the medium sized fish and bo ba mon. The fish was good, crispy and flavorful. Definitely comparable to Saigon Block. It is slightly less greasy but I wouldnt go so far as to say it's alot better than SB. I dooo like how they don't charge extra for extra sauce, noodles, veggies, rice paper. I HATE how SB charges us for that when they clearly don't give enough sometimes! The bo ba mon was slightly better, slightly worse. The meat with a green onion in the middle is alot better because it is actually tender here! I hate how SB's is always so hard so I rarely eat this but it tasted good and it was chewable here. However, the other meats werent that great. The one wrapped in leaves is my absolute favorite at SB but this one was a bit bland, it just wasn't as good. The other meat was alright, but for some reason I prefer it at SB. Overall, this place is good and if you live closer to this than Saigon Block, I would come here. However for me, I'm fine with going to either place. read more

I've been here three times and the service is extremely slow! Don't eat here unless you're not in any type of a hurry. When they DO get to you though, they're very friendly and polite. The pho is okay, broth is a bit bland but better than a lot of places in the area. Meatballs are good but the tai (filet) meat was kind of hard. The bun Thai lan with seafood is good. It tastes like Canh chua meets tom yum. Plenty of fish, calamari, and shrimp. Bun bo hue was a little bland as well but not too bad. I really liked their large menu selection though so I would come back to try a few more dishes. I definitely liked their fresh squeezed OJ though. So refreshing! read more

Nice, clean venue. We had their baked fish ($40.00 for a medium). Setup was basically the same as Saigon Block. However, the fish here is a lot better. The fish came out tasting fresher. Also, the condiments and sides that accompanied this family style dish were generous in portion and so there isn't a need to pay extra for more salad or cilantro. I ordered a child's pho (rice noodle soup) for my two-year-old daughter and she ate the whole thing. I tasted the broth and agreed that it had a nice flavor. Good place for large groups to come and eat family style. The fried catfish is the only thing I've tried here and is probably the most popular item. You can order the fish by size depending on how big your group is and they'll bring the rice paper, veggies and fish sauce for you to wrap. The fish is cooked really well and isn't too hard to cut and share. The rice paper is too small for my personal preference because it makes it hard to add everything I need in it! Overall I recommend this if you're craving fish and spring rolls and don't wanna go through the hassle of making it at home yourself.
