They routinely take really good care of us getting bindings mounted or doing slight tune ups to our gear. You can tell they know what they are doing and take the time to do things right. We've never bought gear from them directly (as I often get last years gear on sale) but they don't seem to mind. My brother-in-law says their boot fitting service is top notch.

Harley took us in…read moreand was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, and he took extra time to explain to us what to look for in choosing boots, which was super helpful because it was our first pair of boots! He was transparent about all the prices and accommodated our desired budget. He explained the fitting process in full detail making sure the boots were a comfortable fit and would work amazing on the slopes. He also answered all of our questions patiently. When one of us was deciding between two ski options he gave us an accurate side by side comparison so we could make an informed decision. He also gave us marked down prices to reflect the summer season. He sold our friend to come here next season to buy skis. He knew we were leaving town the same day so he got the ski bindings done in 15 minutes! The policy with the skis also includes a two year fitting warranty. Thank you Harley for being fire!!

We expected to ride our bikes for a mere 2 hours and looked ahead at the prices per hour, which we deemed reasonable. It's only when we come back from our 2 hour ride that we see we have collectively been charged $1,000 for a "deposit" regarding two bikes. Furthermore, this amount was never shared with us verbally or can even be found online. They then tried to charge the actual amount of the bike rentals on top of the $1,000. This is a hefty deposit for two bikes, and I've paid less to rent a boat for more than 2 hours. I don't want anyone else to be misled like I was, so I am leaving this review. I will never be back and I'll be sure to tell my family who vacations here annually, to also go elsewhere. It only gets two stars because the bikes worked for the two hours as bikes are expected to, just didn't appreciate the lack of communication and the shady business practices at play here. We will be following up with a letter to the chamber of commerce at Tahoe as practices such as these are predatorial.

Location was good with easy access to the trail and lots of parking. Service was good, no issues and found them very helpful. As it turns out, thanks to Nate's help, the boot that was the most painful had an extra footbed in it. Nate had me try on the boots after removing the footbed and gave me a few tips when putting them on. He then helped with sizing me for custom insoles, which were likely to help even more (and were a fraction of the price as new boots!). Bonus: Nate was also very helpful when I struggled to get the cuffs of my slimmer jeans down past my calves. We definitely had a good laugh and workout in the process.
