So I requested quotes via Yelp since it appeared that I locked my keys in the trunk of my 1962 Chevy Nova. Don's Lock & Key responded right away, and sent me a reasonable quote and was able to accommodate my schedule. Older cars can be easy or a real pain. The two gentlemen first checked to see if they could make a key from my glove box to see if that would open the trunk. Come to find out most of the locks were newer, so they then tried doing it with the driver's door lock. They were able to make a key that worked to open my trunk, and doors. Unfortunately my keys were not in the trunk, lol! Still have no idea where they are, but at least I have a key now. Oh wow! I'm so grateful for the lovely service! My Honda Element ignition would not turn and my car was stuck. His fee was higher than other Locksmith's--however, I was happy to pay since he was at my address in under 20 minutes, other Locksmith's either did not reply or I would wait at least 90 minutes. The dead bolt broke in my apartment this morning. My landlord called Don's and got a very quick response. Justin was awesome!! Very polite, professional and friendly. Instead of just replacing the whole deadbolt he told my landlord he could fix the one that broke. She really appreciated that. I am impressed with Dons Lock & Key. I spoke with knowledgeable and professional staff on the phone about rekeying my new house, adding a deadbolt, and evaluating my driveway gate for a lock.
