on Thursday a baseball hit my windshield and shattered my glass, I got into contact with one of their associates and now 24 hours later I have a brand new windshield! super efficient and incredibly kind. they realized that inclement weather was coming our way and squeezed me in the next day. they even worked around my hectic work schedule and picked up my car for me since one of their technicians couldn't come to me and I couldn't take the time off work. won't be parking next to any baseball fields anytime soon but I'm I'll definitely be coming back here if I do! special shout-out to Chelsea she rocks read more

Made an appointment with Don's Mobile glass to replace my windshield in my truck today, Saturday. They said they would arrive between 8 and 4 and that they would give me 20 minutes notice. At 3:50 I get a call telling me that they weren't coming because they don't check their inventory for damage and asking me to reschedule for next Saturday. So basically I wasted my Saturday with my daughter waiting for them and they offered me nothing but an excuse and the opportunity to try again next Saturday as well. *Today's appointment went very well. I had to take it to their shop due to rain and they were great. Courteous, informative and professional. They started on my truck right away and had it finished in no time. Looks great! ( I am so bad with names, I'm sorry). He helped me with what i needed in 10 seconds. What the Honda dealership wanted to charge me $125 for. I called Don's to get a quote for a new shower door and was told they'd rather me come in to their office to talk to someone and look at samples. I went in today with my husband and 2 kids and waited about 5 minutes for someone to approach us while we looked at the floor samples they had out. No one ever greeted us or even acknowledged us. I then went up to the front counter where 2 men were at computers and a lady was at a side desk. They all looked up at me but didn't say a word. I stood there for about a minute waiting patiently to see if anyone would even acknowledge me and I got nothing. I could not believe it!! I scooped up my kiddos and we left. My pickup got a rather large chip in the windshield thanks to a big truck kicking up a huge rock at me. I called Don's this morning and within an hour, a worker was here at my job to fix it. His name is Jason and he did a great job. He was friendly and knowledgeable. It wasn't an easy job due to the location of the chip but he got the job done and it looks really good. Anyway....I tend to complain when something isn't done right, so I feel I should also give compliments when they are owed. I had a chip the size of a dime in my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon that I took to Don's Mobile Glass to have repaired. I was worried about the Plano tackle box they used to house the chip repair tools and supplies. Upon performing the repair I begain to worry when the technician was inside using matches to heat up the windshield at which time he indicated that the windshield cracked. Unfortunately You can repair a crack that was already repaired so now I need a windshield in my 2011 Jeep with 2000 miles on it. They did inform me that they could get me a windshield for a price. I would not recommend having any glass repairs performed by Don't Mobile Glass in Manteca. read more

A minor task is the scheme of things, but they fixed a mirror for me without hesitation, and quickly, and did a smash up job. (Pun intended, they had to remove a convex mirror and replace it with a flat one!) I've been using Don's for oil changes for my two cars since I moved to Merced 2 years ago. I've tried a couple of other auto repair places and was not happy. Don's is reasonably priced. You don't get the predatory feeling of unnecessary repairs, etc. I brought my Lexus in to have the noisy suspension diagnosed. Potentially expensive. They found the source and it was just the tightening of a suspension part. Honest and recommended! Reattached an underbody shroud also. They've earned my repeat business and recommendation! read more
