I ended up foolishly paying $1,200 more for a fish finder that turned out to be a bait and switch. The Lowrance fish finder, as you can buy it as a consumer, has both sidescan and downscan features. The wrong transducer was installed in the boat. It was an total pain to get this point across to Richard. I sent many emails and photo proof that it was the wrong transducer. Apparently it takes several weeks for C&C to send emails to Ranger and I was told to, "Please be patience [sic]." After bugging Richard multiple times (actually about literally 30 emails), he finally got Ranger to agree to install a new transducer. I naively assumed they would install the sidescan AND downscan unit, which is the common version available to the consumer. But then didn't. I drove for five hours to have them install a transducer than only had downscan. And I didn't figure this out until I was on the water. I would have gladly paid the difference in getting the right unit, but Richard/Ranger again baited and switched. On top of it, he tries to make the customer feel bad for asking him questions and bothering him, after just having spent many thousands of dollars. I went out of my way to deal with a mom-and-pop shop. Thinking that was a naive choice.

Matt and his crew are excellent, very knowledgeable, the shop is spotless and laid out really well, with a good selection of essential parts and gear. I've used their service department as well for my KTM and these guys are all pros. I can't recommend the shop enough, a good KTM dealer is almost impossible to find, I go out of my way to support local businesses, and I know the owner personally. (He really is a fantastic guy, kind and generous) My only * is that is that I would like to see more mask use and hand sanitizer because I am an RN and I care about these folks.

I've never been in an establishment where the customer standing at the check-in/check-out counter was put on hold simply because the service desk phone rang. The person who took the time to come into your business deserves your full attention until their transaction is complete. If the phone rings, politely place the caller on hold and finish helping the customer who is already in front of you. This isn't my first visit to HK-KTM, and my previous experiences have been much better, so I'm not going to judge the entire business based on one interaction. I'm chalking this up to a new employee who hasn't yet learned that great customer service starts with taking care of the customer who's standing right in front of you. A little coaching on customer service etiquette would go a long way. "RA" welcomes you!

After repairs were complete and I had the rv back home I noticed that they had removed my registration, all my insurance documents and an air mattress I had put inside one of the cabinets (the air mattress was over $100). Definitely do not hire them to do any additional work or anyone they recommend either! I also paid for what was supposed to be quality painting to redo the pinstriping and designs. Wow!!! He was giving us some lowball offer saying our trailer wasn't anywhere near worth what we listed it for. (We did our research, thanks.) We saw the horrible reviews about this company and decided to wait and he called us Karens saying "it won't sell." lol. Immature and unprofessional! It's no wonder you have a 1 star rating. Apparently, they are practicing without a business license. Check the BBB and consumer affairs website!!! Beware... and go elsewhere!! These people should be in jail and sued! Update for Nicholas: Our trailer sold for way over asking price. We got the last laugh LOL
