We just happened upon Don's Rv center when we were on a quest to find a small travel trailer specific to fit our Jeep Wrangler(nothing in all of Sacramento had quality small Travel trailers). We had to extend our search away from Sacramento. We were on our way to Best Rv ,that is further south down the road when we noticed Don's Rv center on the left side of the freeway. It didn't take long at Best Rv to find out that they only had 1 trailer under 3,000lbs. We didn't care for that trailer. On our way back to Sacramento, we remembered we had passed Don's Rv, so we decided to try our luck there. Rafael met us outside and we quickly explained what we were looking for. Not only did they have small travel trailers, they had MANY to choose from! Rafael was very sweet and patient with us as we went from one to another looking for that trailer that "checked all our boxes". We finally found one we liked,but unfortunately had to head back home before we could make a deal. Once we were at home,we started communicating over the phone with Rafael to try and make a deal. Art from Don's RV center wasn't able to secure us the financing terms and deal we wanted ,so I contacted my credit union and Norville (finance manager)was able to to take it over from there. We had many questions for Rafael and Norville and they both were so kind and considerate. Rafael even answered a text message from us on his day off! We made an appt to pick up the RV a few days later and sign the final papers. Unfortunately, when we arrived we realized the weight distribution hitch we bought would not fit on the trailer we had made the deal on. We were so disappointed, but Mario and Rafael quickly found different trailers that would take the WDH. Rafael began to show us the other trailers, and once again showed us extreme patience and understanding. We finally found one we LOVED! Mario went out of his way to hook our Jeep up to the trailer to ensure our big spare tire on back of Jeep would not impede towing and the ability to safely turn in the Jeep. We really felt he had our best interest at heart. Since, we were from out of town 1.5 hrs away, they told us they could get the "new" trailer ready, cleaned and prepped for us in 2 hours and Norville would have to work out our lending with our credit union during that time. We went to lunch and less than an hour later we were told it's ready to go!Wow , again we were impressed with the superior level of customer service. Juan showed us every little detail about our trailer and was very detail oriented. He made sure that we understood and let us ask questions. He never seemed hurried or impatient with us at all! During the walk- through, we noticed a few minor things and he quickly got on top of it and fixed them. FYI: We did read some of the other reviews as we were initially working out the deal from home and there was a slight concern of course. Honestly,I have looked at so many reviews from all of these trailer dealers and none of them are perfect. We took a chance on Don's RV center and we couldn't be happier. My daughter went down and bought a trailer. A week later I went with her to pick it up. It wasn't ready, meanwhile while we waited, i was ask to check it out. Some repairs were made but very poorly done. They got tired of me picking it apart (a lot of issues for a new trailer) they found it best to return her money. Taking responsibility for the issues would've done them better, "instead it was someone else's fault." read more

Do not purchase a trailer from this place ! We purchased a new 5th wheel from them . Once these people get your money they will not honor any warranty issues and they will be super rude ! In addition, we purchased an extra solar panel that we expected would be new since we paid for a new trailer but when we picked it up they had taken a used solar panel off of another trailer and put it on ours . We mentioned it to them and they said they would deal with it when we brought it back for warranty . We also had several things that needed to be repaired when we did our walkthrough which they said just bring it back and we will repair it . We recently called and spoke with Mario the service manager who is extremely rude and told us he would not warranty the solar panel or anything else on our trailer and told us not to bring it to their place . Mario is a very unreasonable and rude person to talk to . If I could give 0 stars I would . These people are crooks !!!! read more

Was just looking for somebody to install a fifth wheel hitch in a truck I recently acquired. They were very honest in saying that parts are hard to find right now and if I could find it they could install it which worked out great as I went to etrailer and had a kit within a week. This service center is horrible. After having our trailer since October with no answers or simply wrong answers they bullied my husband and held our trailer hostage because they were given a poor review. When they threatened us with charging over $100 a day storage my 65 year old husband (who had just gotten out of the hospital the afternoon before) and I went to pick it up. When we got there they continued to try to bully him, even when he repeatedly told them he was only there to pick up our trailer. Finally, after another 1/2 hour of the service manager and general manager being verbally abusive, we were able to take our trailer and leave. We will NEVER be back. If you are a senior citizen don't take a chance with these people. read more

I bought a brand-new toy hauler at the end of March for $65K plus and it is in getting repaired for items that should have been repaired before we drove it home. I took it back in April to get repaired and they are still trying to get approval from the warranty Co on the items needing repair. It is bizarre that you buy a new item, and the item is not in complete working order when purchased and then it has to go through the warranty process before work can be started. It looks like I will not be getting my brand-new trailer back until maybe July. This is a major issue to us, it also is an issue when it comes to using the trailer to see if there is any other warranty work that will be needed before the 1 year is up. read more

Great place with friendly staff. Did a consignment on my 2018 trailer and ended up purchasing a toy hauler that was competitively priced. Sales manager "JJ" was awesome. He was able to give me top dollar for my trade-in without any b.s. The walk through gentleman was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Only complaint i have is that neither I or anyone at Don's RV took the time to look at the weight of the new trailer and to see if my tow vehicle was even compatible with it. we purchased a tent trailer from Don's RV. We paid a deposit a week and a half before we came and picked up the tent trailer. The day we got there they had not done anything, it was used but they did not clean it they did not make sure that everything was there were in working order. We drove a long way for this trailer. The day before we were supposed to come pick it up they said they needed another week. Then when we got there I pointed out the price that was quoted to us and they were showing online and they called me a liar and said they can't do that. My suggestion go someplace else read more

They guarantee that 98% of consignments sell in a very short period of time They had my motor home for 6 months and NEVER approached me with any kind of an offer They insist on a 180 day consignment and if you want to retrieve your RV before the expiration date they penalize you $3,000.00, even if they have had no offers on it in the 1st. few months of the consignment Wouldn't you want to take it some place else, after several months on absolutely no action on there part ? They insist that you lower your agreed upon net proceeds to expand there commission dollars or remove the RV under the penalty clause After the consignment expires, they charge you back there selling costs, advertising, maintenance of the RV, security, etc. In every respect, I agree with Eva R. read more

I often stop in here for parts, the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a decent selection of parts on hand, and can usually get anything they don't have within a couple of days. Additionally I have taken my trailer to thier service department, and was satisfied with the service the provided. The repairs were made in the time frame promised, and done correctly for a fair price. While I have not purchased a trailer from this facility, I was impressed with thier sales staff. They were informative without being too pushy. On the down side they do not have the selection of some other nearby dealerships. Also thier sticker prices seem somewhat higher than other dealers. Overall I am impressed with thier staff, and will definitely be back. read more
