Cute place for a quick stop for sweets. We ordered some mochi donuts , jasmine ice cream. Jasmine ice cream tasted like vanilla with tint of jasmine favor. We liked the mochi donut (we enjoyed black sesame , tiramisu, Orea) They have some already made mochi on display glass, but they have more flavors that you can ask them to make it and they make it quick. We really enjoy it. We also ordered a peach oolong tea, too sweet and it tasted fake. I will only come back for the mochi nut. read more

This was a cute spot that we stumbled across while we were in the area. It's super cute and very colorful with plushies and other cute knickknacks. The gentleman working was also very nice and gave great recs for flavors! We originally wanted 2 donuts but ended up getting the dozen which came with an additional 2 character donuts. The donuts were pretty good and not overly sweet, which was a huge win! There were your standard flavors like black sesame, purple yam, and matcha as well as some other cool flavors like sakura, melon, and sweet peach. The character donuts were really cute as well. I would always do a big order from them especially during the holidays. I was disappointed when I called to reserve a dozen mini mochi donuts to pick up at 11 for Valentine's day the day before pick up. I was unable to call them that I was running late to pick it up. When I called, there wasn't any available. So maybe mochi is not my thing, although i love a good donut. We got a box of assorted donuts, green tea, chocolate and plain. Heavy taste of oil in the donuts, i had the chocolate donut but the dough seemed to have absorb a lot of oil. That was a turn off. My daughter enjoyed the green tea extremely, but i would not go back. The glutenous dough in the donuts had a heavy presence of oil, mixed with the flavor has a noticeable after taste that is not for everyone. The donuts look pretty. read more

Welcome to the area! They're definitely still working on some kinks in terms of flow and availability. As Jeannine mentioned, most of the mochinut display was empty. We were told to look at the photos and that more would be coming out. I couldn't tell how long we'd really need to wait - it took longer than I would have guessed. In terms of flavor, they were pretty good. They're a bit heavier than other mochinuts I've had - closer to a regular donut texture - and even many days later, I am not sure if I liked it more or less than the mochinut texture I expected. We also got some bubble tea. The menu was a little confusing. I ordered earl grey, but I guess it was not in the milk tea category, but I swear it was... or there was something else called earl grey family, and I'm not even sure what that is. The two guys behind the counter were trying to balance everything, but they were definitely a little overwhelmed on this given Sunday afternoon. Mochi donuts of many varieties served here. Displays and packaging make it look so pretty and enticing. However the store confuses folks as we were looking at a shared space that sells home stuff, stationary, plushies, packaged snacks and other ethnic dried goods. I wanted to look at everything but at the same time just wanted donuts. Then realized there was a bubble tea counter as well. So much to see that it got distracting. In fact, a group of teens ventured in with one adult and just browsed - didn't buy anything. They were like me, confused and distracted by the set up. I'm familiar with these types of Asian run mixed use businesses. Seems to belong more in Flushing than Little Neck but ok, welcome to the hood. Onto the donuts: mochi style and flavors galore. However the display cases were half empty. I was told I could order whatever off the paper menu on display and they'll get it for me. Seems the inventory was not replenished in the case and they were only taking out a few at a time or upon request. These mochi donuts taste like every other pop up mochi spot but the draw here are the selection of flavors to choose from. Sister had a birthday party for her son and she got these donuts from Queens. They're pretty good! I tried the big round ones and they're light and airy. We waited for almost an hour to get our egg waffles because the store does not keep the waffle iron heated. The egg waffles did not taste very flavorful. Also there was a birthday party going on and all the parents ordered bubble tea so the workers didn't check the iron until all the parents were served. I wanted to pick up some mochi donuts as I was in the area for H Mart and quickly google'd and Yelp'd for a spot nearby. Saw Donut Craft and how new it was so decided to swing by. It's a bit tough to spot the storefront on the street. Once I entered, I was thrown off because I wasn't sure if this was the right place. I spied the donut display further down in the store. They sell a bit of everything with snacks to accessories. Front of the store has a cute vibe if you're into snapping pictures with a cute backdrop. There were only a handful of regular sized mochi donuts available and I was worried they had no more at 12PM on a Saturday. However, they asked which flavors I wanted for the mini mochi donuts and assured they had it. So I ordered 12 mini donuts which came out to $13 and change. They selected the only 6 pack, already-packed donuts from the display case (which I was concerned because I wasn't sure what to expect and how fresh it would be since there wasn't much on display - I'm a visual person!) and packed another 6 in a separate container. Not too long of a wait. I asked for two of each of the following six flavors - chocolate, strawberry, lemon, cotton candy, purple yam, and matcha. I did receive two of everything except the matcha and strawberry which I received more cotton candy. Discovered this when I got home and unpacked. Despite this, it's really cute bite-sized mochi donuts. Very pretty. Very fresh. I like the chewier donut texture and I really enjoyed that it wasn't overly sweet as some mochi donuts could be. Flavor was good for most of the ones I tried. Cotton candy didn't taste like much to me. But everything else was good. I look forward to getting another 12 pack in the future but like other reviewers said, perhaps I'll call ahead to get the cute packaging and ensure I get all the flavors. What a Gem! I just found this place yesterday and so happy I did. The mochi donuts were so "qq", absolutely loved it. My favorite was the Passion fruit mochi donut. Strong passion fruit flavor syrup dipped and nice qq texture. I also tried the mango, strawberry, taro, and cotton candy flavors. They were basically white chocolate flavored dipped and creamy. Those flavors were mostly white chocolate dominant with a hint of the flavor. I would have liked for the flavor to come out more than the white chocolate itself. What I love about the place is the variety of items. It doesn't just have awesome donuts, they also make bubble tea, the bubbles were fresh and also very qq. In addition, they offer various things to buy like Asian snacks, some you can't find in regular Asian supermarkets. At first arrival the place seemed a little odd, they sell everything from toys, stationery, and other miscellaneous merchandise ... to hard to find asian snacks, bubble tea and donuts. But after giving them a try I discovered they have fantastic, unique donuts that have just the perfect amount of sweetness. The shop itself and the ambience inside is cute - it has a friendly atmosphere given all the trinkets and figures around the store. I was brought to the shop for a Too Good to Go (TGTG) deal that offered $15 worth of things in a surprise bag that cost $4.99. The donuts had an interesting flavor (I received one chocolate, one mochi and one plain donut) and are also shaped uniquely in little spheres, different from other donuts. I also received some type of Iced Tea which was good although I could not put my finger on which exact flavor it was. What I did not understand about the surprise bag (and why I took off the first star) was that I received a "Meat Floss Seaweed Toast" in plastic packaging which I am not sure what that has to do with donuts and I am pretty sure was manufactured far away but just simply looked unappetizing. I would have rather enjoyed another donut in the bag made in-house than receiving that. The other star being taken off the rating is the packaging of the donuts - all three of the donuts were put into the same paper pouch where they melted the frosting onto one another and caused a little bit of a mess. Other reviews here showed small boxes for housing donuts comfortably so I was disappointed that my bag was not packaged the same way. Given the potential of this shop, I do hope to give the place another try in the future to obtain a better experience. read more

This is such a cute donut shop/ gift store! The store is a little bit hard to spot though. It doesn't have an awning that has the store's name, so I missed it twice. I had to get out of the car to walk down the block to actually locate it. Other than that, the ladies working in the store were very nice and helpful. They even gave me complimentary donut (after I cleared out the donut case, haha). Bubble tea is served there as well. The plastic cups they come in are a bit flimsy so I would recommend being careful and not squeezing as you're holding the drinks. The passion fruit donut was really delicious, my next favorite was the strawberry, then cereal, then cotton candy, ube and chocolate. The bubble tea was not super sweet which is more suited to Asian taste buds! Much appreciated Donut Craft! Would totally recommend if you can find it read more
