This is just your typical no thrills donut shop, don't come expecting review crushing donuts but they were tasty for a morning treat. I came to grab 6 donuts left with 8! We got a lot of things, but the attendant was responsive and kind. She repeated our order out loud and made sure we knew what donuts we were getting and all of our random food editions. She even threw in the 2 extra! This is a drive through or walk up spot only.

If you are lazy and want convenience you don't even have to get out of your car to purchase some donuts or whatever treat you are in the mood for. They have a double drive thru at this old school gem. We picked out a lemon cheesecake donut and a cinnamon roll plus gambled by buying a Lottery ticket. The two sweet treats were fresh and delicious.

One day my dad called asked for donuts, I already had a long day. Forgot my whole purse at home sat in traffic for hours etc. So I searched for a drive through donut shop and came across this one. As I arrived I noticed it was 2 different lines keep the traffic flow going which I love! The service was amazing and very patient with me because I didn't even know which donuts to choose. I didn't feel rushed either. The donuts were very fresh I will def be back

This place is awesome the best and freshest donuts around. Everyone is so nice here. Been coming here for many years. Thanks for all the donuts and memories!!

The thing I suspect other people are calling mold. It didn't grow over twenty four hours, just appears to be discoloration

I don't know why it took me so long to come here. An Asian American donut book and movie reminded me though. Open all the time with a drive thru and a giant donut up top, which is wonderful. They didn't have the biggest selection (mostly classics and no specialties) when we went in the evening. Apparently all the breakfast egg sandwiches come with bacon as a default and you can get even more meats. It was freshly made so it took a second. The sandwich was delicious on a croissant with melty cheese. Donuts came quickly. Raspberry jelly donut, blueberry and chocolate twist were all great. Milkshake was wonderful too. Seems like you might occasionally get an extra donut. Other reviews mentioned mold. My donut had discoloration on the bottom but it didn't grow over two hours so it's just discoloration (see picture)

Hard to compete with a 24/7 donut shop with a drive thru window. Not the greatest location nor the prettiest. Ordered two assorted dozens around 6pm and didn't expect much of a variety, but I was pleasantly surprised. Great selection, excellent service and fresh donuts. Maple is the way!

The donuts are so good!! Service was friendly! It was fast since it has a drive through no need to get out of the car connivence!! We got the Mega Donut it's like 4 regular donuts and tried a variety of other donuts!! Definitely worth the drive!!

Butter Bar. 10/10 especially when glazed and freshly made!!

Dropped by this place for a quick donut and coffee. It's pretty generic. Not bad, and not good either. Standard cheap donut shop.

The bread is full and the cheese melts in your mouth. I order a banana boba but she misheard me and made a Vanilla boba wanted that banana but im not mad about it! The vanilla tastes as if it as a hint of a coffee bean flavor, very delicious! We all love our orders. We also got a donut deal for getting boba. We've deemed this place our new spot for whenever we come up north. The woman seemed to be the only one working. Hopefully solo shifts become less for her bc right after we came in, a line eventually formed, and it was three of us ordering together. If you're ordering together, make sure to not switch around orders. Wishing the best for this business!

When I recently called to place an order for two juices, she answered, heard me speak, kept saying "hello," and then hung up. When I called back, it sounded like the phone had been left off the hook. This was not the first uncomfortable interaction. On another occasion, I walked in to order juice, and instead of greeting me, the first thing Jenny said in a rude tone was, "Next time, call." She also looked visibly annoyed. I didn't mind waiting and would have understood if she had simply explained that the juices would take a few minutes. I've also witnessed customers waiting a long time without being acknowledged, even though the employees clearly saw them. Some eventually walked out because no one took their order. I really liked this place and its juices, but customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience. If juices are advertised and sold here, customers shouldn't be treated badly for ordering them. Better customer service and a more respectful attitude are definitely needed. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back or recommending this place to others.

During my freebies birthday run yesterday, I was planning on going to Old Ferry Donut after picking up a boba next door, only to find the shop closed. \(`0´)/ Known for unique flavors & vibrant retro-pop 70s branding (cute hamster mascot with bold orange & brilliant blue colors; it's featured on 2-/4-donut boxes), this Korean-inspired premium donut shop originated in Seoul a decade ago before expanding to several S. CA locations, opening in Torrance a couple of years ago. OFD's donuts are popular for its rich creams & chewy dough; Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée are just 2 of their signature flavors. I was going through a donut phase when I initially stopped by Old Ferry Donut. Large windows let lots of light in, & once you step across the threshold, you're hit with a strong K-pop vibe & loud music. They even had a collab with SEVENTEEN last fall during their tour with 2 flavors: Marble Strawberry & Blue Coconut! Unlike the regular mom & pop's or commercialized donut shops, they don't offer a discounted 1/2 or full dozen box. After asking what's their most popular picks, I chose Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée, & added Lemon Poppyseed & Raspberry Ring for myself, Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream for the kiddos. Service was alright... I didn't need a sales pitch, but would like some info on the donuts to make an informed decision since they're at a premium price even though they're not "freshly made" (every hour or less) like SD&C just down the street. The Butter Pistachio is a major hit... fluffy & light, a slightly chewy yeasty donut stuffed with a mildly sweet whipped pistachio cream filling & topped with a salty-sweet buttery streusel... how can you not be addicted? And totally worth it! Crème Brûlée is also popular for its delicate, crackly caramelized sugar crust & airy brioche dough that's filled with a rich vanilla custard. Good flavor, but maybe on the older side? Since it's been sitting for awhile, it lost that fresh fluffy texture & was kinda dry. I really liked the Lemon Poppyseed; it's right up there with Butter Pistachio. The lemon glaze is just the right amount of sweet & tart, & the donut was fresh & fluffy! The Raspberry Ring is pretty good, matching that sweet & tart of Lemon Poppyseed, but I like the citrus zing of the latter more. What's different is the former has a raspberry jam filling in addition to a glaze & the latter is just a yeast donut with fruity glaze. Kids didn't say much about Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream... I figure you can't go wrong with these flavors. The filling might have been a bit much as I saw the cream oozing out of the donut & onto my LO's face & shirt. His sister was slightly better at containing the custard blob. LOL With premium prices, It's debatable if Old Ferry's donuts are worth it... quality, freshness, & size. Hmmm... I like them & their creative flavors, but they're a tad too sweet & not as "fresh" in comparison to SD&C. Sad to see Old Ferry Donut permanently gone from the South Bay, but they still have locations in San Gabriel & Buena Park if you're willing to take a drive. Recommended: Boston Cream $3.95 Butter Pistachio $4.95 Cookies & Cream $3.95 Crème Brûlée $4.95 Lemon Poppyseed $3.95 Raspberry Ring $3.95

They have two main types of donuts -- super dense and cakey, or lighter and airy. Most are the cakey variety, so if you are into lighter Krispy Kreme type donuts, there won't be many options for you. They have some interesting flavors to choose from. I have tried both the thick, crumbly ones and the lighter variety. Both are high quality, but their cake donuts are just way too dense and chewy for my liking. I did enjoy their light vanilla glazed traditional style donut, but at more than $1/bite, it's not worth it in my opinion. They do have good, made-to-order coffee; iced oat milk latte with a touch of vanilla is my go-to. Props to the staff for keeping the line moving, offering suggestions, and making good drinks.
