In my ever ending quest to find the perfect Bear Claw, Lucky Donuts bear claw is about a 3 out of 5. It was hot and soft and the apple filling was not oozing out with each bite. Devoured in 5 bites. Other selections look inviting.

Great donuts, sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and bobba. Pretty much everything on the menu is good.

My latest creature-of-habit order is the grilled croissant panini with egg, cheese, and turkey- no mayo- plus those little side pickled jalapeños for that added flavor. Upon getting the omelette, there were no hash browns in the omelette. I told her that they didn't put any hash browns in the omelette and I wanted a $3 refund, which was how much extra $ was charged for the hash browns that I never got. She argued with me and yelled at me, and got the chef to argue and yell at me, insisting the hash browns were indeed in the omelette. I continued to yell back at them, explaining that there were absolutely no hash browns in my omelette and I want a refund for the hash browns immediately. Finally, after making me yell and argue with them for probably 3 minutes in front of the whole restaurant, she finally agreed to refund the $3. Horrible service, and dishonest. They tried everything they could to not give me a refund when there was no hash browns and I paid for them. Worst service ever.

I was here for no more than a couple of minutes. I ordered half a dozen assorted donuts and a dozen donut holes. When I got home, I noticed that they gave me 8 donuts. That was really nice of them to throw in a couple of donuts for free. I immediately scarfed down a chocolate bar donut (they're those long chocolate glazed donuts) and the donut holes. They were both airy, fluffy, and delicious. I was craving traditional donuts and the donuts here really hit the spot.

There's a giant donut hovering over the entrance like a sugary UFO, the drive‑thru is open at all hours, in both directions depending on which driveway you enter, and the staff has the kind of friendliness that makes you question whether... do people even sleep at these early morning hours, including myself. lol I rolled up at 2 AM and the night cashier greets you like you're the hero returning from battle. They're patient, friendly, and sometimes slip in an extra donut like a pastry‑based blessing, especially after purchasing several assorted donuts. Honestly, if emotional support donuts were a thing, this place would be licensed. The classics hit exactly how they should. The raspberry jelly, a fruity explosion. The blueberry?, a polite, sweet hug. The chocolate, well so comforting. A spiral of happiness. And the variety of donuts is so warm, glazed and sweet. Basically the Beyoncé of pastries. It doesn't just taste good, it changes you. The drive‑thru is clutch. Whether you're craving donut holes at midnight or a croissant at sunrise, Donut King II is the only dessert spot in the area that's always awake and ready to enable your sugar habits. Donut King II is the chaotic‑good hero of Gardena: friendly staff, fresh donuts, that slap, and a drive‑thru that understands your nocturnal lifestyle. Ambience- there is nothing fancy about this place. This place is a grab and go. Drive through or walk up. Expect a line sometimes, but trust, it's worth it. Miguel C.

The vanilla tastes as if it as a hint of a coffee bean flavor, very delicious! We all love our orders. We also got a donut deal for getting boba. We've deemed this place our new spot for whenever we come up north. The woman seemed to be the only one working. Hopefully solo shifts become less for her bc right after we came in, a line eventually formed, and it was three of us ordering together. If you're ordering together, make sure to not switch around orders. Wishing the best for this business!

When I recently called to place an order for two juices, she answered, heard me speak, kept saying "hello," and then hung up. When I called back, it sounded like the phone had been left off the hook. This was not the first uncomfortable interaction. On another occasion, I walked in to order juice, and instead of greeting me, the first thing Jenny said in a rude tone was, "Next time, call." She also looked visibly annoyed. I didn't mind waiting and would have understood if she had simply explained that the juices would take a few minutes. I've also witnessed customers waiting a long time without being acknowledged, even though the employees clearly saw them. Some eventually walked out because no one took their order. I really liked this place and its juices, but customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience. If juices are advertised and sold here, customers shouldn't be treated badly for ordering them. Better customer service and a more respectful attitude are definitely needed. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back or recommending this place to others.

Review #986 2026-056…read more Food Order: Boston Cream $3.95 Butter Pistachio $4.95 Cookies & Cream $3.95 Crème Brûlée $4.95 Lemon Poppyseed $3.95 Raspberry Ring $3.95 Another one bites the dust... bada dum dum dum... During my freebies birthday run yesterday, I was planning on going to Old Ferry Donut after picking up a boba next door, only to find the shop closed. \(`0´)/ Known for unique flavors & vibrant retro-pop 70s branding (cute hamster mascot with bold orange & brilliant blue colors; it's featured on 2-/4-donut boxes), this Korean-inspired premium donut shop originated in Seoul a decade ago before expanding to several S. CA locations, opening in Torrance a couple of years ago. OFD's donuts are popular for its rich creams & chewy dough; Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée are just 2 of their signature flavors. I was going through a donut phase when I initially stopped by Old Ferry Donut. Large windows let lots of light in, & once you step across the threshold, you're hit with a strong K-pop vibe & loud music. They even had a collab with SEVENTEEN last fall during their tour with 2 flavors: Marble Strawberry & Blue Coconut! Unlike the regular mom & pop's or commercialized donut shops, they don't offer a discounted 1/2 or full dozen box. After asking what's their most popular picks, I chose Butter Pistachio & Crème Brûlée, & added Lemon Poppyseed & Raspberry Ring for myself, Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream for the kiddos. Service was alright... I didn't need a sales pitch, but would like some info on the donuts to make an informed decision since they're at a premium price even though they're not "freshly made" (every hour or less) like SD&C just down the street. The Butter Pistachio is a major hit... fluffy & light, a slightly chewy yeasty donut stuffed with a mildly sweet whipped pistachio cream filling & topped with a salty-sweet buttery streusel... how can you not be addicted? And totally worth it! Crème Brûlée is also popular for its delicate, crackly caramelized sugar crust & airy brioche dough that's filled with a rich vanilla custard. Good flavor, but maybe on the older side? Since it's been sitting for awhile, it lost that fresh fluffy texture & was kinda dry. I really liked the Lemon Poppyseed; it's right up there with Butter Pistachio. The lemon glaze is just the right amount of sweet & tart, & the donut was fresh & fluffy! The Raspberry Ring is pretty good, matching that sweet & tart of Lemon Poppyseed, but I like the citrus zing of the latter more. What's different is the former has a raspberry jam filling in addition to a glaze & the latter is just a yeast donut with fruity glaze. Kids didn't say much about Cookies & Cream & Boston Cream... I figure you can't go wrong with these flavors. The filling might have been a bit much as I saw the cream oozing out of the donut & onto my LO's face & shirt. His sister was slightly better at containing the custard blob. LOL With premium prices, It's debatable if Old Ferry's donuts are worth it... quality, freshness, & size. Hmmm... I like them & their creative flavors, but they're a tad too sweet & not as "fresh" in comparison to SD&C. Sad to see Old Ferry Donut permanently gone from the South Bay, but they still have locations in San Gabriel & Buena Park if you're willing to take a drive. Recommended: Boston Cream $3.95 Butter Pistachio $4.95 Cookies & Cream $3.95 Crème Brûlée $4.95 Lemon Poppyseed $3.95 Raspberry Ring $3.95
