Had a very bad experience eating at this place. Ordered an omelette which was a "make my own" ingredients omelette, and I asked for hash browns, which the lady said will go inside the omelette. I said that's fine. Upon getting the omelette, there were no hash browns in the omelette. I told her that they didn't put any hash browns in the omelette and I wanted a $3 refund, which was how much extra $ was charged for the hash browns that I never got. She argued with me and yelled at me, and got the chef to argue and yell at me, insisting the hash browns were indeed in the omelette. I continued to yell back at them, explaining that there were absolutely no hash browns in my omelette and I want a refund for the hash browns immediately. Finally, after making me yell and argue with them for probably 3 minutes in front of the whole restaurant, she finally agreed to refund the $3. Horrible service, and dishonest. They tried everything they could to not give me a refund when there was no hash browns and I paid for them. Worst service ever. read more

The good: I ordered fresh orange juice, a lavender latte, a prosciutto sandwich, a Dulce de leche donut, honeydew milk tea with boba, and an egg, ham and Mayo sandwich. The sandwich was well balanced with fresh vegetables and a nice kick from horseradish. I liked the added pickles and the many options for bread (we opted for sourdough but options included ciabatta, wheat, and more). The interior has a bench area and four booths. There were many donuts on display with basic ones costing under $2 each. The overall price for everything we got was under $50 which was a great deal. The boba was soft and enjoyable. The coffee was really enjoyable and had a deep roasted flavor. The store was neatly organized and they sold lots of chips and bottled drinks as well. The menu offered a lot of options that included smoothies and milkshakes too. The bad: There's no outdoor seating area. The sourdough was just okay. The honeydew milk tea was on the sweeter side. I walked to this shop while my car was being worked on at a local mechanic's. Staff was very friendly and professional. The menu is a pretty decent size and a lot to choose from. I snacked on 2 regular donuts + a medium iced latte and paid almost $11 which seemed a little expensive but everything tasted great. The bathroom at the time wasn't working so i was forced to walk somewhere else unfortunately. Seating inside is limited & no outdoor seating at all. My only feedback is it is greasy, so have some extra napkins on hand. I've driven by this cafe several times and yesterday I made time to study and get some work done here. The energy was fresh and the three women working were all professional and very helpful. I was given great suggestions on sandwiches to try, ultimately I went with the turkey TMJ on a croissant and I had a chai tea. Everything was delicious and the ingredients were fresh. Seating was plenty and the place was buzzing the entire 2 hours I was there. I was so please I decided to wait to try dessert just so I could take the family back. My only critique was the restrooms were not available to customers which is one of the main reasons I wrapped up my work, I had to go. Lastly the music was upbeat which was nice but some of the songs had profanity and vulgar language. A preset playlist or a better station like the wave would be more ideal for an establishment that serves a wide array of diverse cultures and age groups. Donuts galore! I finally had the chance to check out TMJ Cafe and Dough. This spot has been on my list of places to try for quite some time. I came intending to get some croissants but ended up getting a variety of different donuts to share. They've got all kinds from chocolate to sprinkles donuts. They're gigantic in size and also huge on flavor! They're not to sweet and they are so soft. I am a fan! Tried this place for the first time and overall it was a good spot. I ordered a dulce de leche iced coffee and a cinnamon roll donut. The donut was really tasty and fluffy which I always look for in a donut. It tastes fresh and felt like I was eating a cloud. The iced coffee was good but I think had a little too much milk, I would have liked a little more coffee in it but was still worth the purchase. The corner shop has a good viewpoint driving by and inside was pretty nice. I think there could be better seating of the storage on the side of the shop was placed elsewhere. Found this location through the app "Too Good Too Go" and I must say, I was totally impressed. I thought I was going to find this establishment on a lot shared with other businesses. It stood alone, beautiful with it's own parking lot. Gorgeous dine in seating. The donuts can be seen through a clear beautiful display. There was a separated shelf that held different flavors of chips and of course the drinks were displayed in their own separate fridge. Very beautiful on the inside. The service was wonderful. I'm not sure if I was dealing with the owner or a team member but the customer service was sweet. I felt welcomed and taken care of. One of my favorite fast and convenient cafes in the South Bay! This use to be the old Yellow Basket. They have a few parking spaces in the front, but if it's crowded, you might have to find street parking. Upon walking in, they have a huge glass case of donuts, but I usually go for the other breakfast/lunch items! For breakfast/brunch, I get their Breakfast Burritos. They offer four different types, and each comes with grilled onion, hashbrown (though usually not very much, if any--my only complaint), and scrambled eggs on a flour of wheat tortilla. I also enjoy their TMJ Signature BF breakfast sandwich. It has avocado, sausage bacon, spinach, fried eggs, pepper jack cheese, mayo, and chipotle gourmaise on a panini croissant. Be warned, the chipotle gourmaise is a bit spicy! My favorite sandwich is their TMJ Fan Club (I'm a fan!). It comes with Ovengold turkey, avocado, crispy bacon (the best), provolone cheese, lettuce, spinach, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo, and honey mustard (though I have them leave out the mustard). The donuts are priced at three levels: basic, fancy, and premium. All very good. If you want to make some construction workers happy (who might be remodeling your house), you can't do better than offering them a box of TMJ premium donuts. I've had many of their sandwiches, and they are all excellent. There are almost a dozen-and-a-half choices, including a make-your-own option. Always fresh, excellent quality meats, vegetables, sauces, and breads. All 5 out of 5 in my book. And breakfast hasn't been forgotten. Burritos, omelets, and more than a half-dozen sandwich choices. While most business here seems to be takeout, there are a few tables inside where you can eat. Went here twice and both times were disappointing. First time I went got the Dulce de leche latte and barely tasted like coffee and no taste of Dulce de leche.
