They have updated their menu and it looks GREAT! I love the sprinkles decor everywhere as that really does scream donut to me. The king donut is a favorite for us as they supply Universal Studios with all the giant Simpson donuts that they charge over $20 for at City Walk or in the park and in the store that donut is $5.99. And you can get it topped with whatever you want if you come early enough. I love the creativity of the donuts here at Donut King. My favorite is a Reeces pieces donut or an apple fitter. The service is always quick and friendly here but there is like NO seating inside. Maybe two tables. This is a better situation if you just grab and go. Wonderful donuts every single time. Being able to drizzle peanut butter on anything is a real game changer. Donut King really is just that... the KING of Donuts!

Donut King is a good spot with a huge variety of options. They offer some really creative flavors that somehow manage to work, like a donut topped with Nerds that I tried and really enjoyed. It's not a fancy place, kind of like Dunkin but with even more choices to explore. The shop itself is pretty straightforward, you just walk up to the counter and order. Parking is usually easy to find, and they stay open late, which is perfect for grabbing a donut whenever a craving hits. Overall good spot to pick up a lot of donuts for a decent price.

Tried the glazed donuts and chocolate sprinkle donut at a birthday party and both were delicious! Great texture and not overly sweet.

Some of the best donuts I've had in a long time they are not expensive and are super good. They are nice and fresh they make them daily. They also make donuts for Universal, which is a cool fact they make the Simpsons big giant pink donuts.

Came back again after some time and still super happy with this place! I do wish they had a location closer to me but honestly just glad I can find a place with the classic donuts I grew up with! They are also open 7 days a week early in the morning until 9PM which is awesome! Must recommend the chocolate with peanut and the blueberry glazed!

I love this donut shop. I got a few gingerbread shaped donuts and some Valentine's Day donuts. The employees were fast and helpful. I will be back for sure.

I guess Monday is not one of the 7 days....oh well, an hour of driving for nothing. But when they are open, they are the best.

My son really wanted a big donut from here for his birthday. I ordered it and went to pick it up but also got two more dozen for the other guests. As always, this place is the best. Super fresh. Super delicious. So many choices. Just the best!

Let's be honest from now on when I am in the winter park area as I mentioned before I always stop at donut King. Sadly today they were out of Boston cream so I was able to get a Bavarian cream- I also got a double chocolate doughnut, a twisty doughnut, A sandwich cream pie large triangle donut with a cherry on top - I honestly have no idea what it is it just looked really good. I also got A brown sugar and cinnamon fried square shaped donut, and I got a chocolate with chocolate Oreo on top doughnut. I honestly can't wait to try a couple of these and I did get one for a friend. My fiancé is going to love the rest of the donuts. The lady at the counter was super nice. They almost always have all of their donuts. The ambience of donut king is a small I'm gonna say locally owned donut shop I know they have one in Winter Park one in Claremont and one I believe in the Tampa area. If you haven't been here I definitely recommend it they have donuts for every type of person and anyone's needs. They are normally open from 5 AM to 9 PM. This one is located specifically off of Howell branch Road in Winter Park

Wow, this spot reminds me of the doughnut shops in Houston. So many flavors and variations! I have a lot more flavors that I want to try next time I'm in town. My favorite was the almond crunch. So soft and pillowy. I will say by that afternoon the remaining few out of our half dozen were dry and going stale. Maybe ours were an older batch. I want to go when the HOT sign is on and see what they offer.

Another reviewer accurately described it as a "cronut", or a mash-up of a croissant and a doughnut. The texture is different but the sweet factor is intact! We chose a Saturday morning to visit because our son was available and wanted to check out Parlor, since he is a doughnut aficionado. We found plenty of available parking spots. The bright interior with east-facing windows and white and blue tile made for a cheery atmosphere. Of course the doughnuts and good service add to the brightness. A French Toast doughnut, Spinach Pesto Breakfast Sandwich (a lovely savory and served in a ciabatta roll), and Proper Coffee (drip) were ordered on this visit and throughly enjoyed while sitting on comfy chairs. The laid-back, family-friendly character of the shop was a welcome change. I'd like to return in the near future after 11 am when the Savory Layered Doughnuts are being served!

The Vibe: The interior is super cute and inviting, and the staff was friendly. The parking lot is on the smaller side, but we got lucky and found a spot easily since it wasn't too busy when we arrived. What We Ordered: * Raspberry Filled Donut * "Sandy Beach" (cinnamon roll-style) * Two Cold Brews They still had a great variety of donuts available, even later in the afternoon, which was a nice surprise. The Donuts: Here's where it comes down to personal preference. These are not your traditional donuts--they're more like a croissant-donut hybrid (think cronut) with a layered, slightly brioche-like texture. Flaky, layered--not your classic donut. If you love that style, you may really enjoy these. For us, we were expecting a more traditional donut, and unfortunately the texture just wasn't our favorite. The Sandy Beach had great flavor, but the texture didn't quite land for me. The raspberry filled had a very standard berry filling that leaned a bit artificial. Drinks: The cold brew was also a miss for us--a bit too acidic and not as smooth as we'd hoped. Overall: While the flavors and textures weren't quite what we were looking for, I can definitely see the appeal for those who enjoy a cronut-style donut. Friendly service and a cute space made for a pleasant visit overall. One thing that did catch our eye is that they offer savory donuts, which sounded really interesting--we'd definitely come back to give those a try. Pro tip: Go in knowing these are croissant-style donuts, not traditional cake or yeast donuts--it makes all the difference.

Friends, this place is proof that compromise can be beautiful. Sweet meets spicy meets (meats?) savory. Every bite felt like someone dared a pitmaster and a pastry chef to create the ultimate brunch, and somehow they pulled it off. The only drawback? Ventilation. It's stuffy inside. Plan on smelling like a smoky glazed donut the rest of the day. PS. If anyone wants to bring this concept to KC, I'd like to be considered an early investor. Or at the very least, a highly enthusiastic taste tester. Holy hell. Brunch of champions.

Parking wasn't an issue either. As I walked in, I was greeted by who seemed to be the owner and a young woman. Very nice, lovely staff. Everyone was so sweet. My only issue was that they didn't have a good portion of their menu ready and it's mostly because they didn't have the gravy for their dishes. The ones we wanted came with gravy and the staff let us know they were behind on making it. So we pivoted and tried their prime rib smash burger but unfortunately that felt a little disappointing. For the price that it was, you'd think that you'd get a decently portioned burger or some sides with it but it was super tiny. And the bun felt like grocery bread, the type you can get for a home bbq. It was still delicious but rather disappointing at the same time. We ended up having to order a third dish just to feel satisfied and at least it was very good. The bowls are worth it, maybe not the burger but the bowls for sure! I also snagged up a donut and truthfully that is one of the best donuts I've ever had. Another downside to this spot and why I didn't give it a 4 star is because how slow the service was. We watched a whole family get up and leave because it was taking so long, I actually felt bad for the staff and owner. The place has great tasting food, just needs a little shaping up. Maybe someone who can run the kitchen as a head chef. Overall, I still recommend the place but just know that you'll be waiting a while and some things may not be available.
