You don't hear that often from him when it comes to breakfast. Over all- quality breakfast, good prices (aside from $3 for a soda ) and nice little place. We will be back.

The Donut Palace has such good food it is hard to decide what I want when I get there. They are so good, I travel from Azle TX to Granbury TX just to eat there. And the owners, Oak, & KT are so friendly & will do all they can to accommodate you. Love that place, & it's owners. They are open from 5am to 12pm 7 days a week even on holidays. I have to go there to get a decent donut, these places in Azle just can't compare to the Donut Palace in Granbury. read more

The customer service felt unwelcoming, particularly if you are not a regular or clearly part of the local crowd. The vibe was more cold than hospitable, which is disappointing for a place that clearly sees a lot of foot traffic. As for the food, the donuts are actually pretty decent and show some promise. However, the sausage in the kolaches was a letdown in both flavor and quality and detracted from what could have been a solid offering. The bread used for the biscuits and similar items is also very specific to this shop and while some may enjoy it, it was not to my taste and felt more odd than comforting. Overall, this is a spot with potential but inconsistent execution.
