2nd time here and the donuts always hit! Service is very fast paced in mornings since there is always a line but still great. Ambiance is your typical hometown donut shop. Driving to Sac I checked the Too Good To Go app and noticed this place was coming up on my drive. Huge amount for the price ai paid on the app and although they're "the day before" donuts they were delish & everyone that had one agreed, no one noticed they were day old. I stopped by for some donuts through the Too Good to Go app. They gave me a good variety of donuts (you don't get to choose your own donuts from the app) I was please hehe. It's a small, clean donut shop with plenty of parking spaces. It's located in a small plaza so you can't miss it! They have a good variety of donuts to choose from and they make sandwiches too. Service was quick and the employees were really nice. read more

I special ordered 6 dozen doughnuts a week before my event. The day of, 30 minutes prior to pickup, the store called to inform me that they did not have the colors I ordered a week prior. I offered to bring in my own colored sprinkles but was told there was nothing I could do. They had other doughnuts I could take instead. I told them I had to check with my employer and I'd notify them. 7! minutes later, they called back and were very adamant about if I wasn't going to pick them up they would sell them. So I told them to sell them. Not professional in anyway, rude and clearly did not fulfill an order. It's hard to believe that 30 minutes prior to pickup is when they realized they did not have the color I ordered. One star is still too high. read more

I'm here in Vacaville today. I noticed how there is some new construction going on at Arrive Vacaville down the street, it's a residential building. This that other Doughnut Shop in the city that I keep on hearing about, welcome to the Jelly Doughnut. It looks somewhat like an old fashioned Doughnut Shop I'd find in Orange County in here. This is located in the Marshall Plaza. When I got here it was packed. I like the design of the Doughnut box, it's not that traditional, but it looks updated and modern. They're known for Jelly Doughnuts. They said to me there's a Blueberry Jelly Doughnut in there, I was looking forward to that because I don't see that everywhere. But it also looks like, there's some Raspberry Jelly Doughnuts in there as well. I had a Jelly Doughnut earlier, and it was solid. They get some points for originality. I was thinking this was going to be a 4.0-4.2 stars, and I was thinking it was going to be more on the 4.1-4.2 stars side, but I give this 4.3 stars. read more

I don't know. There was only a selection of 5 donut flavors and two of the flavors had a cakey consistency (chocolate and regular). The blueberry was alright but it had a strong artificial taste. The person at the counter was friendly though. read more

The food always tastes great at this place so no complaints there, but when I came in today one of the younger employees was preparing food with her mask hanging off her face. I get it if you've been working hard and needed a break, go outside if you don't want to wear a mask. Just like how you should be wearing gloves when you are making food in an industry environment, same should apply with masks in a public safety emergency. I've been eating here, on and off, since I was in high-school and want to continue to support small businesses, but not if they risk my health and safety in the process. I even bought the sandwich and left a tip. I've never had an issue with staff until I returned today. Neither of the older employees there were telling her to put her mask on either. Still love this place but it looks like I need to take another break from it. read more

I'm from Michigan and decided to stop for a bite. The place was small and had limited seating but the way they welcome you, smile and acknowledge you upon entering was enough to make you want to wait for a table. The food was delicious and hot. Absolutely fantastic apple fritter. Crisp exterior without being crunchy or oily, a nice thick soft and pillowy interior, lots of cinnamon and the right amount of apple. I've tried apple fritters from a lot of donut shops and they usually aren't great - filled with oil, crunchy in a bad way, no apple, too much apple, and hardly any flavor of cinnamon. When done right an apple fritter is a thing of beauty, and they do them right here. Crullers were good too. Better than Donut Queen's apple fritter across town, hands down. read more

I have been coming here for over two months now, donuts are amazing! But COSTUMER SERVICE ?!? Hahaha it's a joke. I've spent a lot of money at this small donut shop and for the workers(I also think they own it) to treat me like scum is sad... I had on one occasion ordered donut holes and they were very hard by the time I got home (bag closed), I came back the following day and they told me it was all prepared that morning and there's nothing they can do. Insinuating I'm lying. THEN another time they gave me an extra donut and charged me for it so I asked for my refund because I only wanted one. She gave me my money back with extreme attitude. Then I get home and realize they didn't give me my BLT I had ordered!!! So I call and she tells me it's my fault that I didn't get it from them and she called out my order was ready. And I said so you guys don't make sure ur costumers are getting the order they paid for ? She said no sorry you left it there's nothing I can do. I didn't even get the bag handed to me so there's no way "I left it" . I got three other bags thinking it was in one of those but it was only the donuts. .... All in all they don't care about service . They want ur money ... make sure you get your whole order. And if you're a customer service type person like me , their service will infuriate you... Yum! Stopped in before 7:30 on a Thursday morning prior to work and was pleased to see a case full of delicious donuts and a lovely, welcoming staff. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on sourdough and thought it was pretty good. The egg patty is large and substantial. It wasn't anything really special, but was suitable and came out quickly. For the donuts, I figured I had to try a few, so I got a chocolate glazed old fashioned donut and a chocolate glazed cruller. Both were delicious but rich. The winner came out as the cruller. The dough was light and airy but tasted flavorful and perfectly fried. It felt like I was eating something both decadent and delicate all at the same time. I highly recommend the crullers. I'll definitely be back! read more

I ordered two surprise boxes through their app they've partnered with "too good to go" and they refused to honor it. They told me I could cancel my order, but there was no cancel order button and I had already paid. The front lady told me too bad, I could call the app. The worker was very rude. Don't sign up for a service you don't wish to use just because it is an inconvenient timing for you- they can say "sold out" on the site, but they chose not too. I paid $13 for the donuts and drove all the way there for rude customer service and no donuts. read more

These people are so wonderful. You are greeted no matter how busy they are in the mornings. Sweet smiles, clientele are all so friendly. Probably because this establishment not only makes the bests confections but is warm and homey! Soft fresh donuts with quality ingredients. Ever have a donut leave a coating on your mouth? Not here! Jelly Donuts aren't my favs. quik, smiling service. lots of sugared donuts available. coffee (superior) not a favorite brand either. eats: chocolate french crueller (1.2) -not melt in month, small frame may be the reason sugar old fashioned (,90) -too sugared for me. cake not firm enough. crumbs: -great donuts for someone, these donuts aren't my type. -sad, more variety here. read more

Undertow - 8 - Fun twist on a cortado as the half and half is cold and they add a splash of vanilla. The hot espresso is carefully floated on top of the milk so that when you drink you feel the cold "underflow" of vanilla milk. Cortado- 8 - Small but powerful sip of espresso. I prefer it with half and half and a touch of sugar over Journey's method but it is a tasty sip. Lavender Latte - -10 - the best version of a lavender latte you'll ever have. Cherry Blossom Latte - 9 - The cherry syrup is very forward but blends nicely into the latte which gives it light finish. The coffee does get a touch lost so add an extra shot. Citrus Cocoa Latte - 9 - The orange syrup is prevalent throughout the drink but the cocoa starts to stand up more the last half of the drink. I don't prefer chocolate drinks but this doesn't taste like a mocha at all. Very well done Journey!!! Veggie n Egg Breakfast Wrap - 7 - Light and flavorful but needs some pop from another ingredient. That's when the employee standing next to the employee staring at the juice press walked over to the Expresso machine and started to make my drink. Then they made it incorrectly, giving me only 2 shots not the 3 that I paid for. Then she proceeded to dump some of the liquid from the cup out and simply added another shot. This is wrong on so many levels. The coffee is delicious, the cold pressed juices are fresh and perfectly balanced. The customer service is hit/miss. Oh, and the tip jar is back front and center. The lady taking the orders seems very rude, not knowledgeable, and cannot seem to hear or understand what is being ordered. Even after the long wait, zero apology, acknowledgement, nothing.... And zero urgency.. Do not think we will be back and honestly, with all the other boba places in Vacaville now, you shouldn't be going either.
