My dozen donuts
Yahana A.

Went to mochinut in Vacaville and asked my husband to buy a dozen while I waited in the car . He came back with 6 . I sent him back to see if he could get 6 more for the be price of the dozen I originally asked him to get . Eliza helped my poor husband and she did us right . Thank you so much for your great customer service !

This place is known for their mochi donuts, but I am so happy I tried their DUBAI CHOCOLATE DESSERT w. Strawberries (I wish I can give this x100000 stars)!!!! I got their milk tea boba10/10 hot dogs 10/10 (have sooo many options but my absolute favorite was the hot cheetos flavor). Clean& cute environment which was also a plus!!!

My sister and I have been patiently waiting to try out the newly opened Mochinut. The location is in a popluar location in Vacaville, where all the outlets are. The front is popped with color of the sign. Order a dozen of mochinut donuts. The car out hot and fresh ready to eat. The ube mochinut donut was my favorite then the nutella almond was so yummy. We forgot to take photos of our cheesy corn dog. Omg it was sooooo freaking good. It was devoured before I can take a shot of it. Love the place, it's very welcoming and the order is made when ordering.

Great drinks, food, and sweets :) I got the matcha tea with boba, my fiancé got the Thai tea- both were really good. We each got Korean corn dogs and a mochi donut. Everything was good. The service was great too!

We love their mochidonuts. Their flavors change daily. But every time we visit, they usually have some type of Ube flavor.

Have to say of all the mochinuts i have been to this one was my least favorite :( i ordered a set of three mochi donuts and while they all looked nice, they were just way too sweet and tasted old. The donuts were hardened and the texture of the dough wasn't soft or fluffy-like like usual. It gets super busy here especially since it's right across the park in the Nut Tree plaza, so you might find it difficult to find a place to sit. Because it is so busy, it gets pretty loud and crowded inside and sometimes they don't get to clean up as often because there are so many people inside all the time. The inside is nice but quite simplistic compared to other locations I have been to, there isn't really much to it just the sign and no extra decor. All in all I would say the food and drinks are OK but I definitely wouldn't say it's my top choice. If ever possible you should try out their other locations in addition to this one just to get some perspective. Otherwise, if you're craving mochi donuts or hot dogs this might be your best shot in the area.

I finally made it to Mochinut Vacaville!!! It's been long over due!! I have been to Mochinut in Sacramento (Delta Shores, Midtown locations) and really enjoyed my treats!! I was juiced when I saw on Instagram that Mochinut was coming to Vacaville a month after I moved from Sacramento. I wasn't able to make it to the soft opening due to work and other personal commitments. I stopped by today after almost a week of craving mochi donuts! The sun was out, and no rain... carpe diem! This location at the Nut Tree by Villa Corona and Edible Arrangements. Soon as I arrived, there were 3-4 women in line ordering their treats. I decided to use the tablet to order my donut and Korean dog. I realized after paying, I forgot to order boba! *Insert Face palm emoji here* The female employee at the counter was nice enough to take my drink order (by then more customers arrived and the ordering tablet/kiosk was now occupied). The store had no customers at the tables, so, I picked one to sit while waiting for my name to be called for my order. After I had started eating my treats, that a rush of people came and a line started forming. I really came just at the perfect time!! The employees were pretty quick about getting my donut and drink to me. My dog was ready a few minutes afterward. I ordered the Cookies N Cream Mochinut, Half and half dog topped with hot Cheetos, and Brown sugar milk tea with boba. Cookies N Cream: Perfection!!! Delicious mochi on the inside. White frosting on top with crumbled Oreo on top! Yesssss! It came with a strawberry flavored stick (don't know what it's called.. but, it was a nice treat!!) Half and Half Korean Dog w/ hot Cheetos topping: I loved it! Half corn dog and half mozzarella cheese inside. The mozzarella was perfectly warm, gooey, and stringy! So, yummy and a ton of fun to eat. I actually put some mango habanero sauce on top! I didn't even know my dog was missing something until I added that...whew!! It really is the little things! It came in a cute Mochinut box, with a slit in it for the stick to slide into! (Great way to keep your dog from rolling around when sitting it down!) Brown sugar milk tea with boba: This was almost perfect! It was sweet without being overly sweet, boba was the right temp and texture. Now, I do have a small rant about the cup it was served in. Coming in 3...2...1: I was SUPER disappointed that the boba was not served in those cute mochi cans that I love so much!!!!! I don't know if it's due to a supply or cost issue, but, I wasn't pleased. I really was sad to see that plain, clear plastic cup when it was handed to me. Can someone let me know if Sacramento Mochinut is serving boba in these basic plastic cups, also?? I am serious! I'm trying to see something LOL. If I'm going to spend so much money to buy boba (let's be honest it's not the cheap treat it used to be!), I really would like to NOT see my drink served in these basic, cups made for tea and coffee. Call me bougie, I don't care! LOL. Even the menu photos show the drinks in cans!! So misleading! Okay, end of rant. :) Aside from the cup issue, I overall enjoyed my time eating in at Mochinut Vacaville. My treats were delicious, staff were friendly and helpful, and the decor is the cute aesthetic I've known to love. I definitely will be back! Thanks Mochinut!!

The Mochinut in Vacaville is the busiest Mochinut I have ever seen. I'm here to buy a few mochi doughnuts for an afternoon snack. I don't expect they have a dining room full of customers enjoying their mochi doughnuts or drinks. The young lady at the cash register counter is fast and friendly even when busy. The dining room inside the store is for customers who want to relax and have a quick snack and drink. They have one table and a couple of chairs outside the shop in case you like the outdoor seating, or you have a furry baby with you! The area is nice!

They are located in nut tree which is great for walking and shopping and this is a good spot to stop to grab a bite. They sell the potato and mozzarella corn dogs and the mochi donuts. They also had boba drinks available. They have plenty of room inside and there were outside tables and tables across the street if they got busy. Overall has a very aesthetic appeal. Thank you !

While shopping around Nut Tree Plaza, treat yourself to some Mochi donuts, Korean hot dogs, & boba! Flavors change weekly (I think) so I suggest checking out their Instagram for updates. They have a good variety for their boba drinks and Korean hot dogs. I do like how they have deals when you buy Mochi donuts. I.e. 3 for $9, 6 for $17, 12 for $30. Pricey, I know, but most Mochi donut shops are priced the same. If you didn't know, some Mochi shops price the flavors of differently! So really, you're getting a good deal at Mochinut! Let's talk Mochi donuts-- During my visit, the flavors I had were: Ube Coconut, Horchata & Cinnamon, Coffee & Chocolate, and Guava. The guava was my most favorite. You really tasted the guava! Ube coconut was okay; the coconut was a bit too strong for my liking. Horchata was way too sweet and lacked that horchata taste. As for Coffee and chocolate, the coffee taste was powerful (which I enjoyed because I love coffee flavored things). It did have just a hint of chocolate from the chocolate drizzle. Service: They have a kiosk where you can place an order or you can order at the register. It may take some time to get your order, but keep in mind that they did just open, so just have patience! Overall, I'm glad Mochi donuts are back in Vacaville. If you didn't know, Mochinut used to be Mochi by Okashi Fusion, and I was a bit shocked to see the change lol I thought there was going to be two Mochi donut spots in that plaza!

10/16/24- Another dentist appointment from Children's Choice prompted me to revisit the korean dogs mozarella and boba drinks. Drinks are back to its' tall and sealed cups which now I am able to shake it baby! Bobas are smaller and a little harder than what it used to be. Bobas are smaller, chewy and a bit hard in the center. Korean dogs were fresh. As for the mochi donuts, I noticed that it is a bit dry especially the chocolate funnel cake one. It's pricey, but everything now is, so prepare for that. Service was good. Plenty of seating. Menus are clear as well as the receipt.

If mochi donuts are your thing, then this is the place for you. I just had to try it at least once and it wasn't for me. I'm a simple donut girl. These donuts are a bit more chewy and gummy texture. The mozzarella stick was pretty good and made just right. The boba was really good too and I liked all the packaging and the cup. Unfortunately, I didn't get any boba without a straw. Don't let this review change your mind! I just am not a mochi girl. This place was poppin when I was there so it must be good to others who enjoy mochi.

Customer service hasn't been what it used to, so it was a nice gesture. The decor reminded me of In-N-Out, with its vintage feel. We both decided on the classic combo with the little burger, fries, and a drink. As we were waiting for our food, the place started getting very busy, and we were glad we got a spot to sit in. Once your food was done we were given our food in a bag. We were a little puzzled but decided to just use the bag as a tray to put the food on. The "little burger and fries" were not little to us and we were both glad we didn't upgrade anything to something bigger. The burgers were really good, just a little too much bun. We were pleasantly surprised that mushrooms and sautéed onions came on the burger, even though some might not like that. The fries were very crispy and hot which my husband loved. Everything was really good, but my husband noticed on an ad that they fry their fries in peanut oil. I have a slight issue with peanut oil, but some people could be really allergic. They should definitely let people know before they order. All in all, we will definitely be back again in the future. The employees were nice, the business was clean, and the food was good. Just be aware if you have a peanut allergy that they use peanut oil to cook.

Super personable, great energy, and made the whole experience feel effortless. I ordered the peanut butter and jelly burger--smash-style patty with bacon, peanut butter, jelly, Tabasco, and pickles--and wow... one of the most unique and satisfying burgers I've had in a long time. It hits that perfect balance of savory, sweet, and nostalgic. I asked Paul what he would pair with it, and he absolutely nailed it. He introduced me to "Chimp My Ride" from Solano Brewing Company, a rich stout with chocolate and peanut butter notes that complemented the burger perfectly. It honestly brought back that childhood lunchbox feeling in the best way possible. On top of that, Chef Jamie personally brought out the food and took the time to connect--great conversation, great presence, and you can tell there's real pride behind what they're doing here. The vibe, the style, the food, and the people all come together here. Easy five stars. I'll definitely be back.

Within minutes, I knew I'd found exactly where I wanted to spend a hot summer afternoon. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between neighborhood tavern and craft beer destination. Vintage bicycles hang overhead, dozens of rotating taps line the wall, and the energy is lively without ever feeling chaotic. Whether you're catching the match, meeting friends after work, or simply escaping the summer heat, Rustwater has that welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for another round. Following the bartender's recommendation, I ordered the Chicken Ciabatta from the specials board with a side of crispy tater tots, and it was absolutely the right call. The sandwich arrived beautifully presented on a perfectly toasted ciabatta roll with just the right amount of crunch. Inside was juicy grilled chicken layered with smoky bacon, melted provolone, crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, and a flavorful pesto mayo that brought everything together without overpowering the fresh ingredients. Every bite delivered a wonderful combination of textures and balanced flavors. The tater tots were exactly what great tavern food should be, golden, crisp, and light on the outside with a fluffy interior. They became downright addictive when dipped into a combination of ketchup and a Ghost Hot Sauce that once they are out they are out adding a slow-building kick that complemented the crispy potatoes perfectly. As I enjoyed a cold pint from their outstanding rotating tap list, Spain put the finishing touches on a 2-0 victory over France, sending them to the World Cup Final. Great soccer, an exceptional craft beer, and a fantastic lunch, it doesn't get much better than that on a scorching summer afternoon. Rustwater has earned its reputation over the years, and it's easy to understand why. Friendly service, an outstanding craft beer program, elevated tavern food, and an atmosphere that invites you to linger long after the final whistle. If you're looking for one of downtown Fairfield's best spots to enjoy creative tavern fare, explore an ever-changing lineup of craft beers, and catch the big game, Rustwater Kitchen & Taproom deserves a place on your list. I'll definitely be back to see what's on tap next, and without question, those crispy tater tots will be making another appearance on my table with the ghost hot sauce, if still available, due to the company going out of business.
