I had a few sips of her drink, and it instantly made me think of Nesquik strawberry milk mixed with espresso. I thought the sweetness was at a good level, but I could see it being borderline too sweet if you have a whole drink to yourself. I really liked the unexpected nostalgia factor, and the drink itself was very pretty. The interior is intricately decorated, with little signs and knick knacks everywhere you look. My favorite part was the community resource wall! It was completely filled with flyers (some bilingual) and there was a shelf with stacks of business cards from professionals of all industries. I also spotted a "Know your rights" poster on one of the counters. In a time where new coffee shops seem to be popping up every other day, it's heartwarming to see one that is actively giving back to the community. She was taking and making all the orders by herself with waves of people coming in. Excellent multi tasking skills while maintaining her friendly upbeat composure. I had the ham Serrano sandwich with arugula and cilantro dressing and a drip coffee. Wow. Very tasty. I'm not sure where they get their bread from but it just melts in your mouth. Coffee was great. The very nice thing to see was the employee was wearing gloves while making my food. Thank you for that! And also the sandwich was $7.99!! The only thing I'd say is to get a storage pod. This is by far my favorite matcha spot I've tried in the South Bay, and has a richer, smoother matcha flavor than comparable nearby cafes if that's what you're looking for. Their jasmine matcha cloud is my favorite and I had to get another after finishing my first one. The jasmine tea is very floral and perfectly compliments the matcha foam. I also loved the first flight matcha, but the coconut matcha even more so. It's really hard to find a place that 1. has good coconut water and 2. has matcha strong enough that it doesn't get diluted by the coconut water. First Flight Coffee does both of these perfectly and will always be my go-to spot in the South Bay for coconut matcha. Only downsides are that the parking lot sucks to get out of (especially if you plan on going west or north), but it's very easy to take a small detour. There isn't too much seating inside if you plan on studying so it's more of a grab and go place. Overall, I wish I could give this place more stars!
