I didn't know about this cute donut shop, but I'm glad I found it. My kids have been wanting donut holes, so I had to stop by to get them some! I ordered 2 dozen, and they were so delicious and soft. I have been to M Donut on multiple occasions and love their donuts. They are always fluffy and taste fresh! They have all the favorites and typical donuts. But also have croissants and you can order sandwiches. I have not tried the sandwiches tho. There are a couple seating areas but it's more of a take out spot. This place exceeds ones expectations for a donut shop. They have a wonderful assortment of FRESH made hot sammiches, and so much more. The service is very good. Though I've only been inside twice, because I either wait in my car with my dog, or take a walk while my wife orders, they remember me and ask how i am. So nice. Wow, after living in Big Bear Lake since 95 and going to OJ's donuts for years, we finally pulled the plug because of health reasons n sold our home. We then lost our delicious, delicate, non greasy tasting donut shop. Now for a year n half we kept driving past M...thinking no one will ever replace OJ's. SO, back n forth from RHCC every Sunday, my husband said " let's bring some donuts home". I looked over n said. " What, never see cars there and it must be awful!!! BUT, Oh have we missed out. They were BETTER than OJ's. More delicate more tasty.....more more more.... feel bad I judged because of its location. Please try them. Mom and pop shop. It's okay for your typical donut shop. Nice Asian lady, and the donuts are always fresh, especially in the morning (obviously). Lots of professionals and businessmen stop by on their way to work and grab a coffee and donut, like me (I'm part of the reason why America's fat apparently :P). Like the chocolate bars and the rings. It's soft and good amount of chocolate on the donut. Their old fashioned is a little odd... just a bit too much spices in it. Huge apple fritters. Usually I have to save some since I'll get sugar overload if I try to eat it all. It's a little more pricey at 80 cents a donut and more for bigger ones. Even so, it's fresh and nothing wrong with supporting your local donut shop! read more

All donuts are super delicious but croissants were undercooked like a raw dough inside. Please check a temperature when baked. At first, I didn't realize it was undercooked and I just tasted a bit wet and chewy. I opened to see inside and it was undercooked dough. Seems 70-80% baked. I think I'm going to order donuts only next time. read more

When I moved to the area ~5 years ago I was struggling to find the spot for each genre of food. After a few lackluster places, I was embarrassed to find the best donuts were the closest one to my house. I had seen it in passing but the storefront is tucked away from view unfortunately. I finally went in and, oh yeah, that's how a donut is supposed to taste. An actual doughy texture, not dry and bland. Maple and chocolate actually taste like the flavors, not just some sugary similar flavor. And of course lady is really nice. Prices are fair. Now I'm just worried I found an amazing donut place half a mile from my house. RIP having a healthy breakfast lol read more

It is your typical hole in the wall shop. It is family owned and is generally open for commuters. There are no tables, because they expect you to pick it up and take it with you. They have a good selection of donuts. I have long been a fan of their cake donuts, which are moist and delicious. I recently returned to sample the apple fritter in my quest to find the best in the South Bay. I would say the fritter is decent - it is generally moist with generous chunks of apples and an excellent crusty exterior. (There were a few dry spots, so it is by no means the best). I also like the buttermilk bar. It would be better if it were glazed, like the most awesome one at Torrance Bakery, but it is good. $2.20 for a good apple fritter and buttermilk bar. Yep. I'm a fan.
