Best donuts on the west side. Dunkin Donuts is terrible. One time was all it took to never go back. Donut Wheel is feeling the Ina road expansion project as well as other business along that stretch. There are quick easy routes to get there if your west of I-10. Please keep them in the donut making business, go get a dozen or more, you won't be sorry. Thank gawd there's somewhere to get good donuts. My husband being a cop and a man, loves donuts(haha) yes I know. After many horrible experiences at Dunkin' Donuts we googled local shops and found this gem. We went there late in the afternoon knowing that they might not have as big of a selection but were pleasantly wrong. They had a great selection, the doughnuts were huge and the prices were great, on top of that the owner threw in some doughnut bites for free. After getting them home and trying a bite of each decided these were great, so much better than dd, big fluffy amazing. This will now be our go to doughnut shop. read more

Pretty decent donut shop! We like to come here because it's close to where we live and their donuts are always fresh! Their glazed ones are some of my favorite in Tucson. I also really like they're powdered/filled donuts. They have a filled donut with chocolate mousse that is one of my favorites. Definitely a must try if you're in the area! read more

Donuts are always fresh and warm, staff is kind and they have an easy joke-y sense of humor, and best of all you get a dozen donuts for less than $10. Can't beat that. Just an all around great local donut shop with great coffee that I am proud to support. The donuts here are fantastic and are always fresh. We were there at noon one time and they were still bringing out fresh trays of hot circles of sweetness. The coffee was freshly brewed too. This place is nasty now. We used to come here before we moved out of AZ and my wife was pregnant with our daughter. She's now 8 and we're here on a visit so we thought we'd bring her in for an awesome fresh donut wheel donut. I guess we should've come here yesterday when this batch maybe was fresh because today they were disgusting & dry. I asked for my money back and the squeaky voiced cashier had to call her manager at home who said she'd be by... all this grief to return $13 ‍. I really do love this donuts place! They make their donuts right there in the back, fresh daily. I would love to give them five stars because the treats they serve there makes my mouth water just sitting here typing this up, but the staff (because of the heavy traffic of customers) are a little uncaring. They serve you fast but are kind impolite about it. I guess they just know that they don't have to sell a treat to you because they are going to sell their treats to someone. I know they are busy but friendlier serve would go along way. read more

I love their donuts. Especially their buttercream filled Long Johns. And cake donuts. And donut holes...oh, geeze I'll be here all day if I keep this up. Anyways, we went there late one night and grabbed some donuts. I saw a fly in the case and even THAT didn't deter me (it should have, it soooo should have). My donut was a little stale and THAT didn't stop me (should have). It gave me heartburn and even THAT didn't make me say I'll never go back. There's just nothing like waiting 15 min at a drive through before the employee comes out as you can see them helping numerous other customers inside. Great family owned "Mom & Pop" style donut shop. The donuts & pastries are fresh and great..rival any of those national joints. The prices are comparable and it's local, of which sways my decision every time! Lastly.. they make a great cuppa joe, which is a quarter of the price from the local starbucks. Just bought a chocolate crime filled. It has about 1 teaspoon of chocolate in the donut so it's really not chocolate filled. Everyone there is excellent and other donuts great just the one complaint so I gave the 3 star rating :(this was meant for dunking donuts this place is great read more

One star for availability of donuts. I used to love the donuts here. Since the constitution on ina, this place has gone downhill fast. They only have cake donuts available and while they are good, they aren't the same. Those of us who drive through the confusing construction to buy donuts shouldn't have to be stuck with cake donuts after 2pm. read more

The donuts are good, but the staff is rude. Also, you normally have to really pay attention when they're grabbing your donuts cause twice they've put the wrong kind of donut in my bag. I'm not sure how they get glazed from chocolate or strawberry from raspberry filled. read more

The donuts are great. There is a nice variety to choose from. Always best and freshest early in the morning. My kids love them. The owners are nice. They often throw in extra goodies for my kids. The down side is that you have to spend atleast 5 dollars to use your debit card. I dont always want the extra donuts. My kids will eat them all and have way too much energy. They will make my wife and I pay :) read more

I absolutely love doughnuts from this shop. I will not get them from anywhere else. My favorite is their blueberry fritters which are, not exaggerating, the size of a dinner plate. The staff does their job. You point at doughnut, they pick it up and put it in a box. Simple as that. Your not there to get a butt-kissing, your there to get a doughnut. Awesome selection of tasty treats. We were so surprised they were still open with the construction. The Bismarcks are fresh and delicious--jelly, custard, and cream filling. Giant apple fritters and donuts galore, the only thing we didn't see was sticky buns (caramel rolls) and what we think of as cinnamon rolls. read more

Their donuts are amazing, Krispy Kreme has come and gone in various places, but Donut Wheel has survived, and for good reason! I was away from Tucson for nearly 20 years, and was happily surprised when I returned and found that my favorite donut place was still there and still making the best apple fritters anywhere. To those saying the service is rude... I don't really understand that, as I have never once had bad service. It is prompt and professional, maybe not all smiles and laughs, but certainly not rude by any stretch.
