My mom and I have been going to the Estrella bakeries since I was a child so I was excited for this new venture, but I wouldn't stop by again. Notes: -Downtown street parking only -$.75 for plant milk -free WiFi and outlets but not much seating -no toaster oven to heat baked goods after ordering -nice bathroom -occasionally buy one get one free pastries but it's not advertised, just if they have extra that day and that's what you're already ordering (this is common at other Estrella bakeries). Coffee was disappointing but 2 stars because the pastries are good and affordable. I'd recommend the churros $1.75 (they're filled) and donuts $1-$1.50. I got a churro latte with oat milk and my mom got a cappuccino- both tasted watery. My 12 oz was $5.75 because of the flavor and oat milk, but there really was no churro flavor or any sweet taste at all. Also the cinnamon got clumpy which was unpleasant to drink. Could've just been a bad brew for the day or the barista, but I'd rather get pastries from their standalone bakeries and go elsewhere for a drink.

I stumbled upon this location downtown and I happened to have some time to kill so I figured I would go in. I am so happy I did because this concha was literally the best I have ever had. The coffee was delicious and well made, good espresso and I love the churro flavors. If you're in downtown you need to stop here because the pastries are so fresh and the coffee is delicious. The staff is also very lovely and kind. I would definitely return. Thank you!

This is a very small location with everything you need to start your morning off week with pastries, coffees and very prompt service. Always something fun to try and fall in love with!

LBP's bakers make the sublime goods that I recall from back then. Their crust is crunchy/chewy and their bread is substantial, yet cloud-like. Miches, baguettes, epis, loaves, rolls, croissants, & special flavors; all are highest quality bread. And their cake & pastries? Sainte vache! They have fluffy cream puffs, creamy eclairs, yummy cookies, flavorful pies, and more. And don't get me started on their cupcakes, which are moist and tender and even better when they're Cosmic. There is something indescribably delicious about the apple and cherry Crisps. *Chef's Kiss* The staff at La Baguette Parisienne is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They are also incredibly kind. On my last visit, I managed to take an epic fall (really more of a clumsy crumple) that included pushing a rolling counter across part of the store. My middle name is "Grace". The owner, Kim, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful (nor could the customers there at the time, so I guess kindness attracts kindness). She helped me to get up and was gracious regarding my minor rearrangement of her shop and cheerful enough that I went from embarrassment to laughter in record time. My late beloved Mama found this lovely, cute bake shop decades ago when they first opened, and she was a delighted weekly customer whenever she was at her east-side Tucson home. I hope to carry on her tradition, if less frequently from my UA-area home, until my time on the planet is done (bury me with a plain large Miche, a Cherry Crisp, and a Cosmic Cupcake, please). Highly recommend!

We ended up with some jalapeno cheese focaccia, a fresh loaf of sourdough (sliced for us right there), a couple of croissants and a cherry crisp. Everything was incredible and delicious. You really wouldn't see this place driving down Wilmot because it's tucked behind two businesses, with 4 fifteen minutes parking spots designated for the shop. It's a small little pie shop and all pies are six inch mini pies for $7.99. Many are topped with pipped whipped cream unless you order a double crust fruit pie or quiche. I think I've sampled every pie. The size is perfect to split with someone. No drinks or other things are available here, but one can purchase drinks down the way at Beyond Bread. The staff are always getting customers rung up and out quick. Because the space is so small you go in the entrance, order your pies and then go out an exit door. There's no room for meandering or window shopping. You just wait your turn to look and order right away and I rung up the whole space is quite small nonetheless it's fun to go there and get a little treat now and again. And today was one of those days. My mom and I parked while my sister was checking out Bookmans. We picked out a pie to share, went to the patio to eat it, and it was good.

It's located between Petco and Ace Hardware, and there is plenty of parking. I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with panacotta and boba, and we shared a mango tiramisu. We were both happy with our drinks. The panacotta is a great topping and the boba was fresh, even later in the evening. The mango tiramisu was a perfect treat. It had a jello‑like topping with fresh mango pieces, and the creamy moist bites were delicious. I really enjoyed the consistency and flavor. We played checkers while we hung out. I would love to come back to try more teas and desserts. I definitely want to try the waffle because it smelled amazing. There are plenty of places to sit and everything was very clean. Good news was there was no line, and only like 4 people in the shop. Bad news was they didn't have too many breads left. I went with a seeded Cuban bread and a seeded Epi bread. Total was about $10.00 for both breads. How were they? AMAZING! I can see why the owner is a James Beard Award Winner. He was the guy who rang me up, too! Super nice guy, knew some folks in front of us and seemed like a Stalwart in the community! Good stuff! The bread was so good! I ate the Cuban loaf toasted with just some butter. The sesame seeds, the slight sourdough tang, great crunch outside and soft inside. Great bread! The seeded Epi bread we pulled apart and snacked on during our drive back home. Again, crusty and seeded outside, soft chewy inside. If their "end of the day" bread is this good, I cant imagine how good their regular selections and specialty breads are. I will have to preorder sometime or spend the night in Tucson and stand in line right when they open to sample more of their delicious offerings! Absolutely delicious breads! Will be back, for sure!
