Such a cute little stop filled with regulars. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and you walk right into the diner feel but with a case full of donuts. They are melt in your mouth especially first thing in the morning when you go while they are fresher and more variety. Apple fritter is the best and a must try cause its huge! Ordered 30 wings from Salvatores at Donuts Delite on Culver Rd and boy, were these the worst wings I ever had!! They looked like they were thrown in for a dip in a pot of cold oil then placed on the container for us to take. No flavor, no color and no Crisp!! Best donuts in Rochester. Nice staff, line always moves fast. Breakfast pizza inexplicably comes with mushrooms on it.

Ordered online and it said 15-20 minutes for pickup. An hour later I am still waiting and the horrible women behind the counter says " we don't control the website so we are not responsible for the information." I recieved my pickup order almost 75 minutes after placing, I waited in the store for an hour with them saying 20 minutes. Now, you would think the perk would be hot food when you get home? NOPE - fries were soggy and luke warm, my fish fry was broken to fit into a styrofoam box versus the pizza box ever other salvatores location uses, and there were no dipping sauces that I ordered (no blue cheese for the wings and no tartar sauce for my fish). You would think with the extra time they took they would at least make sure everything ordered was included ... or at least the stuff that default comes with the food? So to sum it up - 4 times longer wait then quoted, cold food, missing items, rude staff ... But paid full price. Take your money elsewhere - you deserve good food from people who care about you. read more

I only wish I could give less than 1 star. My wife and I went to Donuts Delite on (Culver Road) today for the first time in quite a while for some Cannoli donuts. We couldn't wait to get home so, we opened the box in their parking lot to enjoy them. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT to say the least. They were practically void of any cannoli cream. I estimated less than 1 tablespoon of cream in each donut. My wife went back in the store a showed them. The counter person apologized and said she would inject more filling in each donut. We got home and they didn't do any injecting at all. She also bought 2 long Johns (eclairs) with less filling in them than the cannoli donuts. This place must have changed owners because they went down hill faster then any other business. Never again!!! Back to Ridge Donuts Cafe for the best Donuts EVER!!! read more

Bought some donuts here for my husband's birthday!! I'm thinking their fresher in the morning, I went in at about 4, some of their donuts were dry but I think if you know how to pick them you'll really like the taste and variety! Prices are fair. Not Impressed. Not only are the donuts priced 2X as high as any other donut shop, but they are low quality as well. The frostings are waxy, the fillings are flavorless and the donuts themselves are salty. I won't be coming back. One trip is all it takes to decide. read more

I used to frequent Donuts Delite on a more regular basis when I spent more time in the area. I recently dropped in for old time's sake and got a combo which includes a slice, a beverage and a donut. This unique combo can only happen at this location as others don't have the donuts. The donuts are an excellent Rochester staple and worthy of the occasional visit. I tried the Boston Cream for the first time and it was far superior to national competitors. It was delicious and filled with a ton of Boston Cream. Their plain glazed donuts are also lightly airy and delicious. Stop in for a visit, you won't regret it! read more

This place won Rochester's BEST Donut shop. I haven't sampled many of Donuts Delite's selection... ONLY have come for the CANNOLI DONUT. Yup, you read that right, a cannoli donut. It. Is. UNREAL. Want to say they are like $2+ per pop but sooooo worth it!!!!!! Num num num! The store is so retro and cool! Love the decor! The store also is Salvatore's pizza. Donuts Delite is part Salvatore's, part old school diner. Thankfully with the Salvatore's takeover the cool 50s vibe still remains with the pink and chrome details throughout the space. Don't change it ever! I love the way this place looks. This is the closest donut shop to my neighborhood so I've made the short trek a few times now. I've had the glazed, pumpkin, and cinnamon twist. Best warm, fresh out of the oven. I go for the classic, glazed donut. It will never steer you wrong. It's light, with the subtlest airy pockets to soak up the coffee I dip it in. They're fat like bagel-fat, so you actually feel full after eating one. I savor them as best I can. I think it works out to something like a dollar per donut including tax for the regular flavors. They have some fancy ones in the display case, but I can't do the filling so I steer clear of those. I am willing to reconsider for that cannoli donut... read more

Interesting combination of fours and pizza, but it works. Just to make sure you get carbs one way or another! The pizza is Salvatore's and they define a slice as a quarter pizza. I cannot say enough great things about Donuts Delite. Last week I called and ordered two "donut cakes" for a 16th birthday party. The woman that took my phone order was so nice and told me all of the different options. I chose a GIANT "1" glazed/filled with butter cream/frosted with blue piping, and a "6" the same, except filled with bavarian cream. Called our order in this morning, the guy who I spoke with was so nice and helpful!! Outside they have red X's for people to stand on while waiting in line. (For COVID) they are letting 2 in at a time and you must be wearing a mask to enter, which I LOVE seeing. I wish they had the donuts listed for the day outside on the windows or "donuts of the day" on their website etc just to make the process easier and take less time when going to order. Other than that everything ran very smoothly. We ordered a meat breakfast pizza, $20 for a medium we figured it was a better deal than $6 a slice. My gosh was it ahhhmazing, we couldn't wait and had a slice in the car on the way home. Perfection,we will most certainly be back for this. It was both of our first times having it. Went to Donuts Delite for the first time today, and was not disappointed at all. We ordered 6 donuts, which were the apple fritter, red velvet, s'mores, hoho, chocolate chip croissant, and the powdered vanilla cream. The hoho donut was out of this world, the cream was not too sweet and had a great chocolate flavor. The seasonal s'mores donut had a delicious marshmallow cream filling. The red velvet donut was a great flavor. The powered vanilla cream donut was surprisingly not too sweet. The donut could've used a bit more cream, but overall was excellent. They have a huge selection of donuts and im sure theres something for everyone.Highly recommend. read more

Five stars for the food. But the service was not great. We expected things to be a little delayed because of covid, but this wasn't a covid-related issue. It was our waiter. He forgot about us three separate times. The first time he forgot about our donuts (20 min wait before we reminded him about it and he got them), then he forgot to give us our check (15 min wait). When we got up from our table to find him and ask for our check again, he said he'd get it and told us to sit down. Then he forgot about us AGAIN. We have two small kids. My daughter doesn't like donuts but wanted to have warm donuts to try and change her mind. I decided to go to try some warm donuts and changed her mind as well. We walked in on a Sunday thinking we were going to see an array of donuts and smell deliciousness on the way in. walked in to see a bunch of piled up cooked cold pizzas waiting to be bought and heated up. First, I have to admit that the only donuts/goods I ever buy from Donuts Delite are their massive frosted donuts (which can actually eclipse my head if I'm having a flat hair-day). I cannot speak for the deliciousness of any of the other treats from Donuts Delight or for the quality of service if you eat in. To be clear, Scope of this Review = Freakishly Huge Donuts. The folks at Donuts Delite decorate these massive goodies to coincide with holidays (see pics I uploaded). They are a marvel both to look at and to devour. I am always surprised at how inexpensive these babies are too. One of my favorite things about sharing donuts from Donuts Delight is the "wow-factor." These pastries are seriously massive and are very nicely decorated with colorful frosting, oodles of candy and sprinkles, and other great stuff (because, let's face it, you always need more sugar on your sugar). There is nothing like seeing the look of someone who has just laid eyes on a huge Donuts Delite donut for the first time. I love to stop at Donuts Delite before visiting friends with kids. I buy EACH kid his/her own gigant-amongous donut (they package them to go in small pizza boxes) because with those great prices, I don't think anyone should have to share their box-o-yum. Also, parents absolutely love it when you bring their kids huge sugary treats as gifts. Don't even bother asking permission. I promise this is a good idea. read more

Institution in Rochester. Cute little mom and pop type donut place. Donuts are good and I would choose them over a chain. But they're not OMG-you-have-to-try-these. But I was very happy with the wide range including peanut butter and jelly donuts and my first ever cannoli donut. So unique! The cannoli one was nice and soft and the filling was great but probably too much inside. Same with the PB&J. I have come a few different times but came most recently for national donut day and everyone else had the same idea but honestly, these are some of the best donuts in Rochester so it is no surprise that so many other people were here. They always have a great selection of donuts and always have the kinds Adam and I both enjoy. Everything is fresh and delicious. The prices are great, very competitive to big chains but better because you are actually getting good donuts. The staff is also very friendly but sometimes a bit frazzled. The chocolate cream filled with powdered sugar are still the best in town! This place is a local classic, we've been getting doughnuts here for family reunions since before I was born. The cannoli filled one is also excellent, with a nice richness and a crisp dough. They've started moving into fancier doughnuts, like the maple bacon, which I found just a little too sweet. Stick with the classics: chocolate or vanilla cream (with powered sugar), and perhaps a tart cream if you have someone who wants to be a little healthy. But you won't regret it! read more

They have amazing donuts and have been #1 for donut breakfast pickups. I have called ahead the day before to pickup donuts and gave had no problems for a long time. Today I called and they say they need more than a couple days notice for a donut pickup, but I can come in the morning and they'll have what I want. The line can be long at this location and when anyone can preorder it helps the others not need to wait as long due to most individuals needing to be to work. Don't try to preorder a dozen cannoli donuts from here anymore, they will not take the order. You need to go after 6am and hope they have them or make others wait longer than they already do. I wish there were other places that have these donuts, but there isnt. Still it's a big change from what they have always done so I'll keep looking and not bring the favorites to my coworkers anymore, until we find something better. read more

Stopped into Donuts Delite first visit today. Great friendly employees providing excellent service. Their blueberry filled donut covered in powdered sugar was the best filled donut I've ever had. It was a "real" donut. Didn't have to look for the filling in the donut and there was more than 3 bites of donut. The coffee was great too. We ordered donuts to go, a Bavarian Creme and another Blueberry filled one. Wish they'd open another location in the Henrietta, NY area. read more

BEWARE of Customer Service.....I have ordered Easter donuts from Donuts delite for years for our Easter family brunch. Usually I have them delivered this year I picked them up at Greece location. I still have receipt requesting white cream filled easter donuts. The women who took my order circled donuts with peeps. I had a relative pick them up Saturday and bring out to Hamlin on Sunday. Besides the fact they came in a box and not on covered platter as the previous year. Donuts had no cream fill. I call on Easter Sunday talk to the women who took my order to voice my disappointment in the service. I was told mistakes happen and they are very busy. Then if I still have the donuts I could bring them back and they will fill them. Because of the box they were in the donuts were stale. She was willing to give me new donuts but as I explain "What am I going to do with 12 more donuts, it is just my husband and I." She responded well I am trying to help. These 12 donuts cost 58.25. I informed her that I will never buy from them again she didn't care. They got their money. Custimer service since they opened new store is horrible. I certainly hope the owner sees this review and seriously makes changes. There were 20 people at our brunch and believe me word of mouth does damage they won't buy either. read more
