Very consistent donuts. I stopped here one night on a whim and figured I'd see what they had for donuts. It was late at night so, the selection was poor (as to be expected). However, the donut was good. Today, I went here again and got the same donut. It tasted like the one I had the first time. Good. My regular donut shop was getting very inconsistent - oily donuts that left a bad taste in your mouth. So, I am happy to have found a shop that has consistently flavorful donuts. read more

Decided to get a dozen donuts and was driving by this shop. I couldn't believe that l paid so much for 1 dozen regular donuts. This is the issue when you have lack of competitors in the area. So, I am old, and I remember buying the pizza rock at Ernie's when I was a kid. Eating pizza rocks is one of my favorite childhood memories. I even tried to learn to make them myself, but I never got the dough quite right. Went with my kids this week. I was impressed at their attempts to be more interesting than the average donut store. They had some fun ones like at California Donuts in Los Angeles, donuts with fruity pebbles, etc. Maple bars with bacon, etc. It was New Years Day, and it was packed at 8am, but they were well stocked. Let's just say that if a camera were on my face they would've seen my eyes wide open as I chewed happily! Fresh. Soft. Perfect taste!! For lack of a better term, heavenly!! Now THAT is a donut place! Donuts plus is a good option for late night donuts and a spot to hang out if you're really in a pinch. The food isnt bad, but it is nothing special either. Sometimes you get some sketchy people coming in late while you're just trying to enjoy your late night treat and friends. They are cash only but have an ATM inside. The pizza rock is worth a try for the sake of curiosity alone. It is only a few bucks, you could realistically spend more on a donut. read more

I like the selection at Donuts Plus but just not a fan of the owner. I believe there are two owners, a husband and wife. The wife always seems friendly but the husband not so much. I went in this morning to order two dozen and the male owner, as usual, can never greet me with a good morning or say thank you once the order is complete. I'm not a thin-skinned person but this just rubs me the wrong way and he as been like this for years. Another thing I noticed is he will charge me $1 more for the exact same 2 dozen donuts that I routinely get to bring in the office over what his wife charges. Not just once, but every time. I probably should have stopped coming to this place a few years ago but after this morning, this was my last visit. But one of the coolest things I saw was a when you look to the right they have a really cool picture autographed by SID HAIG aka Captain Spaulding . he played in devils rejects , house of 1000 corpses . This review is only based on the donuts you'll come across at 12 AM. Two words: Stale donuts I'm not sure whether the quality of donuts is better during the day, but the donuts you'll find during the wee hours of the night are stale and dense. I ordered the donut holes, cinnamon sugar glazed, and glazed twist. I love my donut holes to be light and pillowy, but these donuts were as stale and doughy as those old boxed donuts you'll find at your local chain grocery store. And the glaze was completely off--melted right when you got your hands on it. The guy working the night shift was busily making donuts in the back so I assumed those in the case would be rotated through the day and night, but they tasted as though they'd been left out since the morning.
