A delightful Irish pub. Nestled in a shopping plaza, it stands out with its size from the rest of the shops in the plaza. Despite growing up in Cinnaminson, I had never come across this gem before, but it's clear that they've built a strong customer base as it looks as though the pub has expanded its space, with an additional area to the right of their entrance along with a lovely outdoor patio for patrons to enjoy on sunny days. During my visit, I sipped down two pints of Guinness while indulging in their mouthwatering Guinness BBQ Burger. That little delectable burger featured Guinness BBQ Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, Smoked Bacon, Onion Straws, and a side of perfectly cooked fries. Certainly one I would go for again but I'm also curious to see how good the chicken version is. Looks like they have a pretty large menu of food options to choose from just as well. The staff at Dooney's Pub was friendly. If you're looking for a casual outing with a nice, open ambiance and a large bar, and an impressive drink selection, it's definitely worth the trip. read more

I went there for dinner with my daughter on St. Patrick's Day. We were seated without any silverware. It took forever to order our food after we got our drinks. The menus were sticky with old food or such. Once we got the first order of wings. We still had no silverware, napkins, or wet naps. About 15 minutes later the waitress shows up with plates, and napkins still no silverware while the wings are getting cold. Once our meals arrived I still had no silverware I guess I was supposed to eat my corned beef and cabbage with my fingers. By the time, I got my silverware my meal was getting cold. They had a live band which was a nice touch. However, you had to scream to get an order in. The waitress was lousy. She barely checked on us. Tho it is very obvious what kind of people run this place where they only employ attractive young women and white bus boys... atmosphere is nice all of the waitresses are always so nice and have positive energy. The food is nice but it's always cooked a different way and no one has taught the chefs to fully cook their potatoes, they provided me with the most undercooked loaded potato wedges I've literally ever experienced restaurant or home cooked. We were seated promptly, but unfortunately, no one attended to us for over 10 minutes. Two servers glanced our way but said nothing. Meanwhile, two ladies who arrived after us were served quickly. Full disclosure, it was close to midnight, but the place was sparsely occupied. We sat at the bar and ordered food while listening to some guy play some cover songs on his guitar. (The guy was pretty good so, theres that) We sat at the bar and were waited on by 2 nice bartendresses. I ordered the Steakhouse Burger (steak seasoning and served with cheddar cheese, sauteed mushrooms, thick cut onion ring and steak sauce.) I remember it being tasty, but I hadn't eaten AT ALL that day and honestly would've eaten a boiled shoe by that point. I also had a drink called a "Paloma" which I only got because thats the name of a friend of mine. It was ok. (Tequilla based) The burger and drink came out to around $18. As for the place, its actually quite nice. Clean, open, plenty of seating with an outdoor sitting area. They had a couple of tvs that were mostly tuned to some soccer game. (Meh.) We have been here many times and almost always enjoy our visits. We now avoid the live music nights because we like a booth in the bar area and it can be too loud to have a conversation. I have a service dog who is small and was sitting on my lap. No sure if it was a manager or a waitress(she did not introduce herself), and asked for his papers proving he is a service dog(Not aloud by federal law) We had just ordered our drinks. I handed her his card though because she instantly made me anxious. She then comes back and tells me he needs to be on the floor. For what he's trained for he's no help on the floor. The manager then came over and told me he's aloud to ask for anything he wants. Now in the meantime the people that complained about my service dog are sitting behind us. Their children jumping up and down on the seats screaming running around the restaurant, nothing said to them.(while my dog is still sitting on my lap quietly. I was a little afraid of this cheesesteak. Irish pub in a strip mall doesn't scream great cheesesteak. I saw a prime rib sandwich on the menu. I thought that was the sandwich I was supposed to try. The bartender was convincing that he liked the Cheesesteak so I stuck with a cheesesteak. It was on a sesame seed roll but it did not present itself. It was sloppy and the cheese wasn't completely melted. Surprisingly it was good. The meat was tender and had a decent flavor. Nice roll but I do not like it when they cut roll on an angle especially when the cheese isn't completely melted. You're already having a tough time getting roll, meat and cheese in every bite. I also didn't like the $13.17 price tag. I think the prime rib sandwich was $14 and it came with french fries. I don't know, it was a good cheesesteak, draft of craft beer $6 and they have plenty of TVs. I think it was a good overall experience. read more

Wildly disappointed. I got a gift card with the giver giving rave reviews. We placed an order to go (2 adults, 2 kids). The to go order was completely messed up, missing items, and cold. The kids meals were suppose to come with juice and ice cream. Both were missing. The main entrees were ice cold and the fries were super soggy; keep in mind we were told 20 minutes....I got there in 15). It appears that maybe the person was training? **Event Review** I was here on Saturday for a family bridal shower. We were in the Jameson room, which has its own separate entrance but is connected to the main restaurant. The room is rather large and has a bar, so it's a great spot for a private party. We had 6 tables of 8 set up but you could have fit another 6 tables easily; we used the spare tables to set up the food, desserts, pictures, and gifts. The buffet was one of the best I've ever had at this type of venue; salad with lots of veggies and delicious dressing (honey mustard? I thought it looked like Italian but sure wasn't), pasta salad, penne, roasted potatoes, steamed veggies, etc etc etc. So much food and it was all really good. The servers came around pretty regularly to clear away finished plates and the bartender was on to make sure our drinks were always full. The parking lot is large and it was easy for us to find as first-timers. I don't imagine I will find myself in the area again but would happily go back here if I was. read more

Are you missing Bennigan's? This is probably the closest thing to it. A self-described "Irish Pub", they offer a few Irish-y entrees such as shepherds pie, fish and chips, bangers and mash, and Guinness stew, but the majority of the food options have a distinctively non-Irish slant, including fish tacos, spicy Thai wraps and buffalo wings. That being said, they have a whiskey/scotch list of about 15 items to choose from and about 10 beers on tap, including Guinness, Harp, Smithwick's and Kilkenny. Of course if you are aiming for the Bud Light, Miller Light, Coors Light crowd, they have that too. (Oh, the dichotomy!) Service just OK, even though it wasn't busy. read more

This is my second time here. My wife got the fish & chips. I got the Mushroom Swiss burger. The fish could have been seasoned a little more. The burger was perfect. This is a sports bar/restaurant. The staff is very friendly and inviting! This place has that nice neighborhood gathering spot feel! Good for families and little kids. The menu isn't extensive, but it works. My husband and I come here every Tuesday for the tacos and trivia and we always have the best time. The food is always great but the Taco Tuesday special is probably my favorite. Always get the chips and guac. Because it gets so busy on Tuesdays expect your food to sometimes take a little longer to get to you. I don't mind because the tacos are so good they're worth the wait. The bartenders are so nice and friendly and very attentive. We usually sit at the bar and end up almost always chatting with someone sitting nearby as everyone that visits this place is usually also very nice and friendly. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Staff was rude, uneducated on how to spot a fake ID, used a card reader that didn't even work because she denied myself and my friends who are most definitely of age. Another patron came in after us (alone) that was around our age and took a look at his ID and served him a beer. If our IDs were fake or "didn't show up in the system", shouldn't she have confiscated our IDs? It took a while, and two staff members to work the machine that I assume hasn't been used in YEARS as she was literally wiping dust off of it and pulled it from a pile of clutter, just to be refused a drink. I also offered to show 2 forms of ID AFTER I watched them struggle to make it work, to which they refused as well. I understand the liability that comes with serving alcohol, but maybe you guys should get an updated card reader. Felt extremely discriminated against and will not be coming back here. Thursday night atmosphere is promising. I came here recently for dinner and sat at the bar. The food options are minimal so I chose something "safe". I went with the sliders (3) which came with a side of fries. The sliders were cooked perfectly and the cheese was a perfect pairing. It was pretty filling I could only finish two. Now on to the good stuff. Their bartenders and drinks are the reason to come here. I had a cosmo and dirty martinis which were solid and the bartenders super attentive. And judging from all the slurred conversations around me they were taking care of everyone. Only downside is their beer list was disappointing. I asked for a beer list and was told they had just ran out of Spellbound. With their close proximity to the brewery I would suspect its a popular choice and they would better prep.
