Doors are ok priced, not that much savings.. make sure you inspect them well before you take them, because if you need to exchange them for any reason they will look at them under a microscope!! Costumer service the worst!! The reps never answer and they never call you back, you have to be calling constantly to get information on your doors! Spent a small fortune on a double entry iron door for the front entrance of my home. It looked great initially, but it continues to crack and peel.... i've had the same repair guy come out fix the crack sand it down repaint it, and then it happens again. This problem continues to give me a huge headache and costing me a small fortune to keep my doors looking good. Extremely disgruntled with these doors that I spent a lot of money on that I continue to need to pay someone to fix and repaint. Find another source for your iron doors, and don't get swindled like I've been!! read more

NO...buyer beware! Prices are not necessarily any better than a lot of places but their customer service is ZERO. I ordered four matching slabs with glass that would be installed side by side as windows. The glass in three of them was exactly the same size but the fourth one was off almost an inch which is very noticeable and the way they are made, it's not possible to shim the problem slab. Our salesman Bill ducked our attempts to talk to him and shoved us off to customer service. Their position is that something must be wrong at our house - unlevel slab or something. The contractor and my architect have sent two sets of photos and a video clearly showing that they made a mistake in manufacturing the 4th slab. Their response has been ridiculous and they refuse to admit that they made a mistake. They finally offered to make another one for 150.00 instead of for free and they will not guarantee that the glass size will match. Now I have to go to another manufacturer and buy something that matches. It's my fault that I didn't notice that their invoice (2100.00) has the outside dimensions of the door but not the glass size so no way to hold them responsible. Considering my experience, do not use this company if you think you might need help after the sale because it does not exist. I owned a small manufacturing company for 30 years and I would have NEVER treated a customer like this when I made a mistake! Mistakes are a way to make a company shine but obviously these folks don't care about their customers or the rule of business that it's cheaper to keep customers than find new ones. read more

I suspect on good weeks they sell hundreds of doors, and there are gonna be a small percentage of dissatisfied customers but I'm not one. I looked around elsewhere for months and found prices 2-4x more than these guys, easily. If you want top quality go somewhere else. I got 1 Interior and 2 Exterior doors (Fiberglass, Iron, and Steel) and I have no complaints so far. They are located in the Greenspoint area. They are a turn and burn business but if you know what you need they will be cheaper and similar quality as Lowe's/HD. Naturally, you'll have to pay to upgrade to excellent quality elsewhere, but I was just needing some replacement doors quickly on a tight budget. I suggest confirming your measurements with a tape measure then visit the warehouse then you can easily walk through and browse and touch what they have. I wasn't there for Bathroom remodeling products but they have them too. *Installation issues is probably why people most complain. I suggest finding a credible door Installer. *The Sales counter and 'by phone' can be slow. They have a tons of customers/contractors calling at peak hours. Hold times can vary but once you connect, the help it's usually pretty decent. read more

DO NOT USE!! I bought 5 doors for my new house from door clearance center. It's been 2 years and my double door has started warping, badly! Probably because the wood was not properly dried. Their only remedy was to give me a 15% discount on a new door! I guess to them, doors are expendable like an air filter. Totally ridiculous. They make an inferior product and don't stand behind it. We had already seen that the door was not sold because we had visited a day before. When I asked to speak to the general manager, The general manager (didn't catch a name) or the guy behind the small front desk, was arrogant, indifferent, and had a bad attitude. Came in bought a $900 House door I was more than sure nothing could be wrong especially spending that type of money. The door was bent from the top wouldn't line up properly when it was being installed and when I called for an exchange they said the installer didn't know how to install, I showed them proof it wasn't the installer and it was the door and they just laughed and refused my request. read more

I fully paid $1900 for a double front door, which did not arrive until three months later. When it finally came, it was clearly damaged along the grilles/grids of both doors. Without delay, I reported it to the merchant. Initially, they tried blaming the freight company in trying to steer me towards filing a claim against them. But as you can clearly see from the attached pictures, those are not the result of trauma from shipping. That is most certainly defective product manufacturing. The merchant posts flawless product pictures on their website only to ship you an item of inferior or, in my case, damaged quality. If that's not fraudulent business, then what is? After contacting them multiple times, I was told "there is no damage." You be the judge and take another look at those pictures. They shoulder no culpability when engaged. For your own peace of mind, do yourself a favor and take your hard earned money elsewhere. Learn from my experience. read more

Just got off the phone with customer service and they will not stand by their product. They want 1/2 of the price we paid for the door for a re-stocking fee to take back a clearly substandard door that won't take a stain in spots that appear to have been filled in with an un-stainable substance. One of the raised boards doesn't even match. These areas were not noticeable until the stain was applied. We have bought several doors before from Door CC and using the same brand of stain did not have this problem. I guess they don't value a good customer. No wonder they have such a poor Yelp rating. read more

The absolute worst customer service. I called to confirm a door was in stock and drover 200 miles to pick up only to be told by Roberto ' Oh no, we never stock that door". I returned home and customer decided on another door, I called and was quoted a price. I confirmed with customer and called back to be told it was 100 higher. I ordered anyways and 8 weeks later no one answers the phone or replies to e mails for a 7 days. I finally talk to some woman and am told " Well, if you don't like the service we can certainly cancel your order". I assume they never ordered and just use customer prepayments as free operating capital. Worst place ever. read more

The door arrived 2 weeks ago, and the way that door was packed to be fully protected from damaged was even more surprising: 2 guys could barely handle it, from truck to garage: It was like a guillotine in saran wrap! Don't do it. Their doors are garbage. The price may be tempting, but it will cost you more in the long run. All of the exterior doors only have a cheap plastic seal that meets the threshold. Every single one of our doors ($7,000 worth) that we purchased had the seal rip off within weeks, and none of their doors have an adjustable threshold. You get what you pay for. Their ad is deceiving. A nice way of saying, they are liars. We found the door we wanted and in bold red letters stated it was in stock. The price before tax was $299 with tax bringing it to just under $350 which was still cheaper than ordering it where we live and having to wait a couple of weeks to get it. And since we lived less than 3 hours away figured it was worth the drive because we would be saving over $300. My husband called to make sure they had it before making the drive and even though they stated it was in stock, they did not have it and they could order it and it would take 8 to 10 weeks to get and even though they stated it was in stock, they did not have it and they can order it and it would take 8 to 10 weeks to get in. We ordered several doors from here. 15 interior pre primed shaker, 2 bi-fold, and 5 exterior doors. That process was a mess. They said they were in stock. We went to pick them up. They couldn't find our entire order. We had to come back at another date. Then they told us they had our doors but when we got there we were told they were on back order and they didn't actually have them. 2 weeks turns into months. Communication is terrible. The doors themselves are complete junk. They are not square, some door stops have fallen off, exterior door hinges have bent, weather stripping has come off. I thought the interior doors were suppose to be real wood but they are coated with something strange. They feel plastic. They won't accept paint and we're using SW Pro Classics. We have tried brushing, rolling, and spraying and the paint acts like water being put on moisture wicking fabric. The paint that did stick can be scratched off with your finger nail. (I thought this was crazy but a friend bought these same doors and her contractors had the same issue.) we ended up having to prime them with oil based primer which defeats the purpose of buying pre primed doors. When they loaded the doors into our truck, the slid them and chipped the prime coating off all the way down the door jamb. It's like plastic chipped off. It looks terrible. The shaker doors need to be caulked or filled b/c the trim isn't flush against the panel. The bi-fold doors do not open/shut smoothly because they are bowed and the hinges were installed crooked. The blinds in the exterior doors constantly get in a bind. We've remodeled 4 of our own houses houses and my husband works in construction. We've installed and painted dozens of doors and I have never experienced something like this. We thought we were getting a good deal but sometimes you get what you pay for. I'd gladly pay for more expensive doors to not have these issues. read more

I ordered 3 doors that were "in stock", over 6 weeks ago. They charged my credit card immediately, and I did get 2 emails acknowledging the order. After that - complete silence. Not a single proactive email telling me a status or that it was delayed. I have called at least 3 times, each time waiting 30-60 minutes on hold. Still no one can give me a status. On-line my order still shows "pending". This is holding up a remodel right now, and I cant get a single person to talk to. I have sent one last e-mail and then I will have no recourse but to go to the BBB. They may have a nice selection and good prices, but if they cant deliver the product, and their service is absent, they should not be in business. read more

I decided the old doors in my place had to go before selling - they were covered in years of paint, and someone had done latex over oil prior to me purchasing which turned into a nightmare of peeling paint. Either i spent endless hours scraping or I removed and started fresh... i went back and forth for a while but with the pricing at door clearance center it made everything a little more enticing to go for it and get new doors. I replaced my front, back, and all interior doors for $1,000... Which is unheard of if you look at Home Depot or Lowes pricing. Their 24" doors go quickly so you will have to keep checking back to see when they get them in stock, but they have trucks that come in all the time so it's not much of a wait. Johnny Brenes was so helpful and friendly. He went out of his way for me many times checking doors in stock vs what's in the system. Once they were in he let me know right away. Johnny loaded them in the carrier and brought them up front, and completed the when transaction within around 20 min, from arrival to drive out. So thankful for his help and communication - if you are getting doors def ask for him, and def go to door clearance center. read more

In response from the owner: I have been sending you pictures for the last year. I also sent you glass sealant issues within 1 week after our purchase. Now the doors are rotting. You have never responded until today when I threatened legal action. I have filed in the Court of Cook County, Chicago. If you are not recommending this door for exterior use then don't advertise it this way. I've posted the listed product where it states clearly EXTERIOR FRENCH DOORS. The painters were professional. You product is lousy. You are not accountable and worse you are not truthful.
