They also had several tasty looking brats and breakfast sausage. I mean c'mon, we are in Wisconsin. You know the brats are going to be great. Sitting at the bar having an old fashioned or two. A cheese & cracker tray and in this case chips/salsa as well. A pre meal salad bar of course is a must for a true supper club. For our entrees we went with the full rack of ribs and the ribeye. My wifes steak was prepared just as ordered and had a hint of buttery goodness with each bite. They boast award winning ribs. They were fall off the bone tender with excellent flavor. The ribs come with two sauce choices (cherry flavor & original). I went with the classic and was pleased with the spice. My wife also ordered her entree with the potato pancakes which is not something always offered as an option. Our waitress Jean was attentive throughout and offered excellent input on the history of the restaurant and what to order. We had an excellent experience and may have to consider visiting the east side of the peninsula more often.

Lori arrived about a half hour after she said she would, so our first course came out about a half hour late. All was forgiven, as each course was positively exquisite. On top of the delicious food, Lori was pleasant to everyone, including babies, toddlers, and dogs. The icing on the cake is she left my kitchen spotless. By the end of the meal, I was ready to hire her as my personal chef, and I will unquestionably invite her back to cook in my kitchen.

They are the salt of the earth and they will do whatever they can to help you, above and beyond groceries. Second in importance are Wayne's skills as a butcher. The family also farms and Wayne butchers his own meat. It's outstanding! Wayne's brats are not to be missed! At the end of the summer we take home a freezer full of them. The ground beef, brats, italian sausage and filets are some of the best I've ever had and are cheaper than the mass produced crap that's sold at Jewel or Dominick's. Beef tenderloin/filets - $9.99/pound is insane. Comes stright from their farm to the store so you know exactly what you're getting. We bring a large coolerful of meat from here every trip up.
