    Great patios
    Fanny G.

The place is moving to be a great campground, but is not there, yet. There are 2 pools, a hot tub, splash park, but only the bigger pool is open. The pool is not heated either. Imagine in North WI what that means. The patios in the campsites are beautiful. They still need to seal the color on them. We ended with black feet and black rugs in the trailer. But, again, they are on their way to being great. Loved the concept of full independent bathroom/shower. When you go to the ones by the laundry, you'll get a full bathroom (sink, toilet & shower) just for you. Agree with some of the reviews about the man that goes around telling people. Maybe they need clearer rules to avoid that. I personally would have appreciated all of this to have been clear in their website before I made the decision to come here. It was a very long drive for us. I will look into it next year, when hopefully they'll have everything settled.

Not much tho. You will hear the birds sing. Loved it here. Staff is friendly and kind. Grady place in u want to rent it. Rent sites don't have electric. I stayed in a cabin. Very small but would work for a family of 4. Bring a fan and a strip for electric cuz there is only one outlet per room and no running water in the room. There is a light inside and outside as well. Nice porch if it rains like it did for me. Fire out. Picnic table. Nice place to visit and decompress like I did. It's a nice place for kinda. They have mini gilf, a heated pool, snack shop, 2 showers in the bathrooms that are kept clean. They have internet at the main. Area of the snack shop. Didn't work in my cabin. I have Verizon and had poor cell service so if that is your carrier take note. There is a custard stand close by u can walk to. I can't say enough good about this place. They have city water and deer. They have 4 washers and dryers. If fishing is your thing, you have a area to clean the fish and they will put your fish on ice for u while u stay here. Until the next review, -Yelp-Steve-O, out!

If you have a big gigantic camper, there are spaciously long pull-through spots. Located in a quaint town right before heading up to the hustle and bustle of Door County. This is a great base camp.

Cons: It said bathrooms were close to the Yurts-they were not:only a port-o-potty which is not the same so very misleading. The campground itself could use some updates and TLC. (especially in the bath houses) The store was closed during times it said it would be open. There was no wifi available so phone use is limited. My smoke detector was going off early on the morning for no apparent reason. Someone did come and fix it. This is busy season yet their were no activities or gatherings of any kind or an event calendar like most of their other locations provide. Pro's Staff was friendly and checking in and out was easy. You definitely have enough space between you and your next door neighbor for a little privacy. Dogs are welcomed! Apparently they are NOT welcome if you rent one of their cabins out. But if you can an RV- you're good to bring the fur babes! (There are also dog beaches near by and a lot of pet friendly restaurants in the area! It's just a google away!) As we were taking a walk, we did some exploring. There is a great activity area full of things for kids to do! Swing set, merry go round, soccer nets, tennis court, mini golf, an indoor activity center (that we did not go in but I'm assuming pool tables and things like that?) and a beautiful out door pool! This campground is right next to a state park! As we took the fur babes on our morning walk, we did some exploring. We are neighbors with Potawatomi State Park! We walked down a trail that lead us right to the lake! I wish I brought my phone :( All in all, this place is well maintained. In a great location. It's definitely peaceful. From the looks of it, there are more seasonal camp sites than people that come for a weekend are leave. Night time is quiet (how I like it!). You DO have to pay for WiFi. That isn't included in the site. I believe for our full hook up site (an elite site is what we have) we paid about $200 for 3 nights (Monday-Thursday). I'm excited to explore a little more and see what Door County has to offer! Happy Camping!

camped here in mid june for 3 nights…read more first off location - right off lake michigan, maybe 50 feet. its so calming to here the light waves hit the shore at nighttime. for the most part there is tree line between the sites and the lake but there are benches throughout the site where you can view the lake - really nice for the sunrise and sunsets. the sites them self were quite large compared to the sites ive been to through the years. we were able to easily park a SUV, set up our tent, have a picnic bench, and a fire pit with no problem. another large vehicle and tent would have fit the site. a majority of the sites had campers parked at them. a majority of the sites contained electrical outlets - 20 and 30 amp receptacles the amenities were outstanding. the bathroom/shower area in the middle of the site appeared to be brand new or very recently renovated. the bathrooms were cleaned daily and the showers actually had hot water and private stalls with lockable doors. the site also had a volleyball beach court, teatherball, and basketball hoop near the beach. the rangers sold wood and ice and also had gear for the sporting events that could be used. i did not see a downside to this site. the nearest town was at least a 20-30 minute drive so we felt like we were away from life aside from the occassional semi truck that would speed down the nearest county road.

Lake Michigan is beautiful! The parks is well kept up!…read more As far as the campground, itself... Most sites are just grass, and many are not even close to being level. For some reason, they let tall weeds grow 5-6 feet at the lakefront.... Sitting down, you can hear the lake, but not see it very well. Not sure why....? Bring an extra extension electrical cord. Remember, no water hookups, so fill up on your way in. Site 33, does NOT have unobstructed view of the lake, as tenters set up directly between the lake and site 33. "Great" playground for the kids.... But the screaming gets old quickly! And take extra caution, because kids were "racing" alongside our vehicle on their bikes! And so, if you are coming for some quiet time.....don't. And, they installed some "bell/chime" for the kids.... Super annoying! The swimming beach is rocky by the shore. May want some water socks. Shower and toilet facilities are nice! Summary: Beautiful, well maintained park, but if you want a quiet retreat, go elsewhere.
