It has 2 large pools and one baby pool, ping pong, a jump pad, a train ride, and video games in the Ranger Station that are fantastic. And just enough! If you want hotel amenities, go there. This is camping at its best! Do not expect to play phone games all day. Play soccer, take up a craft or do an activity that is provided by the campground. Take many pictures with Yogi and get some candy at the Ranger Station or some ice cream at the Goody Shop. Plain good camping fun as it should be. The owners could not be nicer and have a big stake in this game. They care. They're on site. They're fantastic. Love this place!!

Very small but would work for a family of 4. Bring a fan and a strip for electric cuz there is only one outlet per room and no running water in the room. There is a light inside and outside as well. Nice porch if it rains like it did for me. Fire out. Picnic table. Nice place to visit and decompress like I did. It's a nice place for kinda. They have mini gilf, a heated pool, snack shop, 2 showers in the bathrooms that are kept clean. They have internet at the main. Area of the snack shop. Didn't work in my cabin. I have Verizon and had poor cell service so if that is your carrier take note. There is a custard stand close by u can walk to. I can't say enough good about this place. They have city water and deer. They have 4 washers and dryers. If fishing is your thing, you have a area to clean the fish and they will put your fish on ice for u while u stay here. We scoured the interwebs for an available site that didn't cost more than a hotel and came up empty. That's what you get for procrastinating on your vacation planning, I guess. As a hail Mary, we called Monument Point and got very lucky. Deb still had two sites available. This may be because the only way to book is by phone, and the only way to pay is by cash or check. If you're willing to work with that, this place is great. I mailed Deb a deposit, and prepared for an awesome weekend. We ended up getting up to the camp much later than expected the first night because of holiday traffic and a snafu with the directions. When we called to tell Deb we wouldn't be able to make the check-in time and would have to check in the following day, she kindly offered to wait for us. FYI, if you use Google Maps to get to the camp it may send you to the wrong address. The campground seems to be mostly used by people with campers who rent a site for the whole season. The other campers were friendly and many seemed to know each other. The campground is pet friendly, and a lot of people had their dogs. The sites are reasonably spread out. You'll be able to see your neighbors in the day time, but you won't feel like you're on top of one another. Our site had an electric hook up even though we were just tent camping, which helped to keep our phones charged. There are clean bathrooms with hot showers by the camp office. There is also a general store. As with most of the local camps, you can't bring wood from outside, but their wood is $8 for a generous amount. Everything was really well taken care of, and the management is kind and helpful, if resistant to technology. I'd definitely stay here if we camp in Door County again.

They have a great beach area that was groomed each morning. The have several bonfire pits on the edge of the beach on a ledge from the grounds. Each room that I saw had water views and the staff was very polite. The reason why it didn't get five stars is that the air conditioner unit was very noisy and I had to turn it off to sleep. The rooms could be updated, but it served the purpose as I was only there to sleep. Great place for a family to stay!

We arrived on Friday around 5 p.m., and not a single parking spot was in sight. We ended up next door in an unpaved lot that was also packed, but with a little maneuvering (and some light praying), I managed to squeeze my car into something that vaguely resembled a space. At check-in, we asked what the parking policy was for paying guests. The front desk clerk smiled and said, "You will always have a spot." I looked at her and said, "Well... I don't now." And mentioned the joy of hauling all my stuff across two parking lots. She explained it was the Friday fish fry chaos, and that Saturdays and Sundays are just as fun with fish boils twice a day. Her advice? Come back late enough and you'll be golden. She wasn't wrong, but still. A little stressful. Now for the positives! The room had a fridge and microwave, which came in handy, and a sliding door that opened to a cute little courtyard. The beds were surprisingly comfy, and everything was clean. The room did have that slightly musty "I live near a lake" vibe, but nothing too tragic. Someone made off with our patio chairs, but at that point I was too relaxed (or maybe too tired from carrying my suitcase across the gravel lot) to care. The best part? The waterfront bar and grill on the property. Great spot to relax with a drink and enjoy the view. All in all, it was a comfortable, budget-friendly stay in a fantastic location right on the water. Just maybe pack a wagon for your luggage... and bring your parking patience.

Also had to kill 3 earwigs, 1 centipede and 4+ spiders. Didn't realize "pet friendly" means you can bring your rare bug collection. If you come here, bring a jumbo box of live preying mantises and turn 'em loose. They will be in heaven. 2. Water pressure in the shower is virtually zero. They don't have water pipes, just a 90 year old geezer with a bagel-size prostate weakly trying to tinkle on you. If it rains during your stay, get out there and try to rinse the shampoo out of your hair. Not sure if the old man handles the showers in all rooms, or if there is a team of them. 3. The carpets are stained and disgusting. Only thing missing was a chalk outline of a dead body. Do not recwalk on them barefoot. 4. The Wi-Fi is great--if you're happy with AOL dial-up from 1998. (Good way to prevent warning reviews like this?) 5. I'm not saying the beds are awful, but I am driving straight to my chiropractor. Had more restful nights sleep camping in a rock quarry. 6. The room smells like a really bad fart. (In fairness, that might be my girlfriend's fault.) Nah, I'm not giving this dump the benefit of the doubt. You'd think with the junkyard doors (gaps big enough for bugs to march right in without ducking their heads) the stank would eventually fade. Nope. The bouquet is musty with notes of wet dog, and a hint of decomposition. That reminds me--Beach Harbor Resort (resort!) is pet-friendly! Why wouldn't it be? There's nothing a pack of hounds with dysentery could do that would make this place worse. If the Association of Incontinent Senior Dogs is looking for a venue to hold their annual conference, book now. Just make sure your shots are up to date, especially tetanus. In summary, this dump sucks so hard it pretty much ruined my life. (That's saying something, considering how bad my ex and her parents were.) Think of a haunted house, minus the charm and character. Cannot believe they charged us anything to stay here, much less $200/night. The owners of this hellhole ought to pay for therapy for my girlfriend and our kids.

We tried to order room service as directed on the TV but the link didn't work, and evidently we had to call down to the front desk to order room service. Front desk directed us to the Tavern in the Sky restaurant to place the order, which we did. 80 mins later with no food delivered, we called back to check the status of the order, and the hostess claimed there was no record of our order. Disappointing - I don't know of any hotels charging over $1,000/night who don't have an easy process for room service ordering. Finally, couldn't get a shuttle to the airport when we checked out. I asked one of the valet gentlemen for help / inquiring if the shuttle was available, since there was evidently no pre-set shuttle schedule. He told me, "just give me one minute" and seemed flustered. Unfortunately my wife and I didn't have the luxury of waiting all day and had to order an Uber so that we could catch our flight out of Green Bay. Just disappointing - the people are all very nice, it's evident they just aren't fully equipped or accustomed to running at full speed or the full capacity entailed in a high profile football weekend.

It was like a little slice of private heaven. Top-notch amenities, hardwood floors, ceramic tile, quality, cookware, and bakeware. And the coffee was exceptional and I'm a coffee snob! Le Crueset teapot. What? The owners definitely take time to detail and have pride of ownership. There were even grilling options of a Weber gas grill or a charcoal grill. The sauna and indoor whirlpool was definitely a bonus. The outdoor pool is beautifully located overlooking the bay. Management office answers calls promptly and it was nice to be able to have bikes to ride around the area. I highly recommend this resort.
