Positive: Flexibility, Responsiveness, Professionalism and Patience Our interaction with Eugeniya has simply been amazing. She had been extremely flexible with our timings, considerate of our requirements and super responsive to all our queries. She literally made time for our shoot in less than a day's notice, when our baby decided to arrive early! I got my maternity photoshoot done by Eugeniya. She seemed flexible and accommodating which made me comfortable to go ahead with her. She had great suggestions for the venue but with quarantine in mind, we wanted to be careful. We landed on half moon bay for the venue and chose from a couple of dresses that she already had. She was even willing to buy and take suggestions on clothes I liked online, which was very sweet of her. On the Photoshoot day, she was punctual, was already at the venue before we arrived. From the minute we met, it was go time. She was fast and knew what she was doing when she asked us to pose in certain spots. We loved using Door Into Summer photography! As a first time mom, I didn't know how much I would want my son to be captured as a newborn - so I was frantically looking for someone when he was about 2 weeks old. I searched and got several quotes, and I found that Evgeniya to be the most responsive and have the best prices. She was also very accommodating and had great continued communication throughout the process. Once we agreed to the package we wanted and scheduled the photo session, Evgeniya arrived at our home promptly and brought everything we could possibly need. She had all the photo equipment, props, blankets, and anything else you can think of to help a newborn photo shoot be successful. She had even ordered special props based on what I told her my son's name meant - it was very thoughtful! One tip I'll mention from experience, is that that you should start heating your home up. Babies prefer being warm and most of the shoot is in some form of undress (she brings the outfits) or bundled up in blankets. During the photoshoot, I was so impressed with the way she handled my son and was able to calm and soothe him. The entire photoshoot lasted about 2+ hours and included about 4-5 outfit/scene changes. My son during this time did fuss a bit, but she was able to lull him back into sleep and was even prepared with towels when he inevitably relieved himself! After the shoot, Evgeniya was very responsive and quick in providing me the proofs for photo selection. I was even able to upgrade my package to include more pictures - we loved them all! We promptly got our photos and even got a photobook of pictures. I cannot recommend her enough, we loved our pictures and are so thankful that we got them taken! read more

We had a wonderful experience working with Eugeniya for our new born's photo shoot. She was accommodating and took what we were looking for and added her artistic flare. She was professional and flexible. We originally had the shoot scheduled for 2 weeks after our baby's due date but she made it clear that if he was born early/late or we needed more time to recover, that she would do her best to reschedule our shoot, which she did! The colors and techniques for capturing the photos was impressive. We had a follow up session by video call where she helped us choose our images based on our preferences, lighting and to ensure we had a variety which was very helpful! I was super excited when I found Eugeniya and contracted her for a newborn shoot. She helped me squeeze in a maternity shoot so that I could get two album designs: one for grandparents that were just newborn and an album for me that used both maternity and newborn photos together. All my albums have been delivered and...they're all newborn photos only. I purchased digital photos from the maternity shoot to be used for this second album that was supposed to be maternity and newborn photos and received just the big version of the grandparent photos which is really disappointing (I didn't get the digital photos from the maternity shoot on the understanding they would all be part of the big album). I reached out to her but got NO response (she was super responsive while setting up the shoots and pre delivery). Eugeniya helped us with our daughter's newborn photoshoot. Below is our experience with her. 1. Before hiring: Newborn photoshoots typically are done within first 3 weeks and her dates fill up quite well in advance. We reached out to Eugeniya after our daughter is born and she accomodated us in the last minute. She was clear and crisp in communication over phone and on text messages and explained to us the different products and pricing models she has. 2. After we hired her, she helped us in deciding the colors for my wife's gown and for the rest of the family(myself, toddler and grandmother) as well. She explained the different protocols she would follow on day of shoot and it calmed our nerves about bringing a newborn to a studio, especially in COVID times. 3. Day of the shoot: Eugeniya and my wife discussed the different colors and setups they would use for the newborn shoot from her amazing collection. We have a very curious and active 3 year old. Eugeniya started off with the sibling shoot first. She was able to engage my toddler(who doesn't like posing for a picture) and took photos with 4 different setups. Afterwards Eugeniya was able to get pictures in 8 setups for my newborn. This is really something given that my newborn had to use 6 diapers within the 3 hrs of our photoshoot. When my wife was worried there might be less pictures because of the numerous bathroom breaks, she assured her we have enough shots and also graciously took additional pictures even though it cut into her lunch time. Eugeniya also took pictures of my newborn with my wife's saree and jewellery to make sure we include the Indian touch to it. She ended the shoot with family pictures and with pictures of the grandmother. Needless to say, the photos turned out to be outstanding. 4. After the shoot: After 2 weeks, Eugeniya spent another 3hrs with us on video call to help short list the ~200 pictures she took to 20 so that we select the best images / poses. She then explained the different combos she has for digital print and products. Her combos are reasonably priced and she helped select a combo within our budget. Next she sent the pictures for editing and clean up. After a couple of weeks, we got the final images collection. She accommodated all of our requests for additional edits to our pictures. We are highly satisfied with the digital prints and can't wait to see how the product(acrylic frame) would turn out to be. Her vision and skills are exceptional, the execution is flawless and her customer service is outstanding.
