I called and was told someone (Craig, I think?) would call me back later that day. They didn't by the end of the day, so I called again just before 5 and was told they'd call me. They did eventually call later that night and said that they'd call me back the next day with prices. It's now a week later and I haven't heard from them. I just got off the phone with DistribuDoors, who told me that Doors West was just bought by a national chain and had previously been pretty decent. We Used them previously many years ago- so when our door wouldn't close, we called them again. They were able to come on the same day. I was worried it would be exorbitant to fix. Our house builder used the cheapest door and supplies he could find, so I just expect everything will eventually need to be replaced. I've been wanting to have automatic garage doors since I purchased my house last year. Being a do-it-yourself man I purchased two automatic door openers at Sears. Assembly and installation was straight forward but getting one of the doors to open and close smoothly was another story. No matter what I did there was this stupid catch. The other door opened/closed nice and smooth and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why the one door had a catch. After a couple of Sunday's I finally gave up. The door functioned with the catch until one day the top of the door buckled and bent. What a stupid door. After looking into professional door installers online I decided to go with Doors West. Get a call late from my warehouse informing me that one of our roll up doors was inoperable and they didn't know what to do. When I arrived on scene the door was for sure not moving anywhere. I'm not sure if the gentleman I talked to on the phone was the owner, but he was very professional and gave me a quote and it ended up costing in the middle of it.
