They let me know they could meet my needs and asked me to come by either Wednesday or Thursday, my choice. I responded that I could come by Thursday and I asked about the cost of the service. No response. I went by Thursday at the appointed time and there was no one at the store. The doorbell that I was supposed to ring was missing- I'm not blaming them for that, however. I knocked, called, emailed, and then knocked again. No response. I never received a follow-up, and it's been 11 days. I'm hoping that everyone there is safe and healthy and that the reason for their lack of response was simply bad customer service. I took my business elsewhere.

I had to explain the concept of gamma levels to him as he seemed clueless about it. He promised he would hold on to the tape for longer to make a better transfer for me once he got a new BetaSP deck the following week. Months passed, and I continued to check-in to ask for progress, but I received no reply. A year later, Todd finally replied and informed me that he had sent the tape back to me, but it was lost in the mail. LOST IN THE MAIL!!! I asked whether he had made a better transfer of the video before losing the tape, but he decided to ghost me. In my opinion, this business is a joke. They are not responsive, and they are irresponsible with customers' tapes. I advise people to stay away from Todd's business as he may lose their priceless tapes as well. I would give them less than 1 star if I could. Beware of this business. Edit: Todd is insinuating below that this project I made 20 years ago makes me an amateur today and that being an amateur makes it acceptable for him to make a bad video transfer, be horrible at correspondence and to lose my tape.

I was excited to potentially get some posters framed here because I can tell this shop is…read moreprofessional in the framing jobs they do, but this rating is mostly due to customer service miscommunication. I called the shop earlier in the day to ask if they would accept a half down payment for the total cost of the frame job because most frame shops will work with you on that and this was the only way I could afford it. The guy I spoke to told me they had stopped doing it due to customers never showing up to pick up their framed items, but could potentially work with me as long as I made the full payment BEFORE picking it up which I was more than happy to do. I showed up in person later with my poster to go over the matting, frame choices etc. and it was a different guy who I didn't speak to over the phone. When I got my quote at the end, I was told they would not accept any down payment and needed the full payment before cutting the frames. While I understand the reason for this and that they want customers to commit to paying them, I wish they had some clarification on their website and/or I didn't get mixed information when I spoke to the man on the phone because I feel like it was a waste of my time to come in and go through choosing the matting/poster frame. Nonetheless the framing jobs are beautiful but not a fan of the mixed customer service I received, would have been happy to give them my business if they offered down payments.
